It was my first time visiting and trying out this beautiful & very hospitable, Middle Eastern specialty bakery & cafe. It was a complete above and beyond 5 star experience--and I did not expect myself to even have much of an experience since I went there 15 minutes before closing! The moment I entered, the gentleman named Eddie greeted me with all smiles and made me feel very free and comfortable even though they were nearing closing time. He told me not to worry at all and happily gave me a full-blown tour of all the pastries, teas, and coffee. Their menu items are packed with such high-quality ingredients and handcrafted with such grace and care. My absolute favorite so far was the pistachio filled baklava dipped in chocolate and the Egyptian rose latte. My hubby enjoyed the dates. We had such a lovely evening, and I'm so grateful for their wonderful hosting and overall experience. Will definitely come back again when I'm in town next time! read more

This cafe is super cute and the pastry case had so many delicious looking options. I had two of the stuffed dates - both amazing - favorite was the macadamia nut stuffed date. It was the perfect balance of sweet and salty. I got a date shake which is why I only I'm only giving 4 stars. I got the banana date shake, and they didn't use fresh fruit - they used a powdered fake banana flavor instead (which didn't taste like banana). For the price of the shakes and the high quality of the cafe, I would anticipate fresh (or at least frozen) fruit. I was greeted upon arrival and was told about their specialties. read more

It's amazing how Covid-19 has resulted in our country to look like Europe! I love the European outdoor set up that offers seating which is what Cafe Sheera does. This cute spot appeared on my IG & I was game. Took my mom and sis for morning coffee time when we wanted to shop at Rodeo Drive. It works out perfect because it is a few minutes away from Rodeo Drive and the shopping spots. For our drinks we chose the rose latte and Nutella latte. Since the Egyptian latte is herbal I asked her to add a shot of espresso which to my surprise they charged for that ($1 each no bigger). Prices are moderate ($5) considering I have had lattes with cute design for way more costly than this. Also, I replaced regular milk with almond milk & they didn't charge us. Complementary dates with your latte purchase which was cool! The dates are a little bit dry (I'm middle eastern so I buy them all the time) but they had orange peel inside to die forrr. The pastries are ok nothing too special, raspberry muffin was yummy and moist. The cinnamon pastry was ok too. A++ for the interior decor. This is a cute coffee shop filled with roses & colorful lattes which is an eye candy for your Instagrams followers. The 4th star is for the customer service: My sister had asked for the cinnamon pastry but I ordered chocolate croissant by accident. The lady refused to change it even though she literally brought it back 2 seconds after it was put on our table untouched. No big deal, I just told her to add it to our bill since I wanted to get it over with and needed my morning coffee. Moreover, the seating is very narrow since the tables are put closely to each other on the sidewalk and a glass surface separates them. Parking is expensive, I think around $11 an hour but this is Beverly Hills so what can you expect. All in all we had a good experience and it's wort to check it out at least once. read more

This has to be one of the most elegant, gorgeous coffee shops in LA. It's fitting that Cafe Sheera is located in the heart of Beverly Hills. I also found out the owner is half Armenian and half Greek. You can definitely feel the Mediterranean influence (which is wonderful). With every latte purchase you get a free date. They have so many options (the hazelnut date was my choice). It's really a great add on to a coffee drink. The Rose Latte was absolutely perfect. It was a great blend of real rose petals (it was also topped with rose petals for an artful display), espresso and my chosen oat milk. The whole space is covered in roses. The outdoor seating is picturesque (although very loud as it is right next to the road and currently construction). The baked goods selection looks incredible and I would love to try more than just a coffee and hazelnut date next time I return! read more

My order: Egyptian Rose Latte with Oatmilk, pistachio baklava and dates. The sweetness of the baklava and dates overpowers the taste of the latte so I would eat after you're done savoring the flavor of the rose latte. It's so good, I would save the sweets for later. I went to cafe sheera today & ordered a Nutella latte, a turkey sandwich, and the most perfectly baked cinnamon roll. Everything was delicious! The latte was especially rich and flavorful, and the turkey sandwich was stacked with fresh tomatoes. The cinnamon roll was perfectly sweet and had the most amazing texture. Their dates are delicious and their lattes are excellent. Pastries including hte croissants were good (we are croissant snobs). They have a trillion different flavors for their lattes, and the gentleman who helped us did a lovely job explaining what flavors they had and what he recommended. We ended up deciding on a soy taro latte (has anybody ever had this anywhere else? We haven't!). The taro added such an interesting nutty note -- almost like an Asian hazelnut. This is my second visit to Sheera and the guests I bring with me are always impressed. The location is perfectly located next to a parking garage that offers free parking for the first 2 hours, which anyone living in LA can definitely appreciate! Prices are typical for the area BUT the quality is fantastic. The Egyptian Rose Latte has a subtle rose flavor that's not too sweet like other rose-flavored drinks. The cappuccino is solid as well. The ambiance is also very beautiful and chic with the marble accents, display of jewel dates, posh velvet chairs, and the iconic #DateMe flower wall. Came with my grandmother and aunt, and the owner introduced herself and we all had a nice conversation. She was truly a gem which explains why her business is so outstanding. Super upscale cafe located in the heart of Beverly Hills - velvet chairs, flowers covering an entire wall, nice white countertops. Pretty large menu of coffees, tea lattes, and other drinks, and known for their dates. Make sure to check in on Yelp to get a free date (or, if they run out, baklava/other small desserts). No WiFi, but there are outlets inside. Wouldn't recommend coming here to do work - there's only a handful of tables and most people come here for to-go coffee or to sit and chat with a friend. We ordered the Egyptian Rose Latte (they told us it's the most popular) and the Nutella Latte (also one of the popular drinks). Both were ~$6, not too bad considering that the price of coffee in LA is usually this high. The Egyptian Rose Latte was OK - floral-tasting, pink, and had actual rose petals in it. I usually just get espresso shots over ice with cream, which I did, and the espresso was delicious. The teenage girls there know how to pull espresso! They were chatty and sweet, you can tell this is a fun place to work for them. It was expensive, yeah, but it's Beverly Hills. The apple pastry was the perfect blend of sweet and tangy, soft and crisp pastry, golden raisins inside. Really complimented the bitterness of the espresso. My wife accidentally left her backpack full of belongings, including her wallet, at Cafe Sheera. I left a message for Suzy via her "contact us" web portal and, just hours later, I received a personal email from Suzy saying she had the backpack, that she had tried running after my wife to track her down, and that we could come by anytime to come retrieve it. When I went back to get the backpack, Suzy was so friendly and everything was there as my wife left it. This all may be a small gesture to some, but to us it meant so so much. If you know your coffee then you'll taste quality and know it. This cafe has variety, presentation, and so much good energy inside it, you walk away feeling uplifted. It's decor is beautiful, inviting and Instagramable. The Owner is the nicest person you could ever hope to meet. Personable, sweet, genuine and sincere. The cafe was extremely busy when I walked in, and she still took out time to have a conversation, when I asked for her, to compliment the coffee. Rare in LA. The staff are trained exceptionally well. Although they were busy serving new orders, they still managed to find time to come over and ask if there was anything else I would like. Attention to detail and attention to the customers is fantastic. Suzy was kind enough to let me sample some of the other drink options, and WOW! The Egyptian rose latte, the Armenian expresso with cardamom and the ice blended pistachio leave you with a taste of heaven in your mouth.... If heaven was a cafe with variety. I live in Studio City and now I'll be driving to Sheera for my coffee fix. And to put the icing on the cake, their selection of baklava and dates are out of this world. Elon Musk would love it here. They also cater a selection of bakery items and sandwiches for those who enjoy food with their drink. The cafe is Spotless Clean. Extremely commendable and an example for others to follow. I'm having trouble finding places that offer tasty caffeine free beverages. My husband and I encountered Cafe Sheera while we were buying some gifts in Beverly Hills, and it was so great. I have tried the iced Egyptian rose and the steamed version, which is so tasty and not overly sweet (it's naturally sweetened which I appreciate). We also had the pistachio baklava which was delicious. The service was so kind, they brought water out to my dog on a sunny day, and they were very happy to see my dog (who is always excited to meet baristas in cafes). I visit Cafe Sheera many times a week! For those who love Europe, it is like being home, with its bright lights and florals that decorate the walls, as well as comfy velvet chairs. Seems like most people order their Egyptian rose latte, but they have tons of coffee, lattes, tea and other excellent beverage choices one would NOT find anywhere else... I love their dates, especially the pistachio filled ones. I was also happy to find out that their stuffed, chocolate covered dates, and marzipan jewels are vegan and gluten-free. One of the girls there told me that all of their dates are cultivated from the world's premier desert date farms in Jordan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Oman and that they don't utilize any chemical fertilizers or pesticides. You can taste the difference! They also have plenty of other food options to choose from. Including baklava, crescents, sandwiches and so much more! Seems like they add new things all the time, which means to me they care about their customers - a rare thing I find in this country. They have inside and outdoor seating, and the staff is so kind.
