The Fresh Veggie Sammie with Turkey added
Tara T.

Welcoming, clean and beachy/modern aesthetic without a "try hard" feel. I was greeted right away with a friendly smile and great music from above. Thank you Kevin for the sandwich suggestion and help with my personal inquiry on my morning flight - navigating LAX. The ordered The Veggie on Sourdough, with turkey added. I wanted something fresh, crisp, and filling, and this hit all the marks . I love that the sandwich wasn't drowning in sprouts or aioli! Many places tend to lean heavy on sauces or filler ingredients. This place felt like they took the intention to balance the amount of each ingredient to compliment the bite! I will be coming back. Thanks again!

I usually come here for bread. It's either here or a place on Larchmont. I don't know which one is better. They're both good in their own ways. But the last time I was here, I was stuck on a work call so I gave my friend my card and had him order. He picked up a cinnamon roll. If you've never seen the cinnamon roll here before, it is massive. I've looked at it on many occasions but always decided against it. But he got it and then I tried some and was absolutely blown away by how good it is. My friend used to manage restaurants back in the day, so he's pretty familiar with food. He said this was the perfect cinnamon roll. Do I think it's perfect? I don't know. I haven't had a better cinnamon roll so probably. But then by calling it perfect, it closes the door for me to ever find one that is better. I think my friend is around 50, so he's lived out his food adventures, so I think him calling this the perfect cinnamon roll is appropriate for his food journey. But I still have hopes to one day find better. Anyway I got another cinnamon roll here today. It's still as amazing as it was last time and it's fun to get so much of the spread that goes onto the cinnamon roll on the side. Absolutely love this thing but I might need to stay away for the long term because sweets = weight gain haha. But we'll see if I can stick to just buying bread here... Oh I gotta ginger cookie here before and it was really good too. Everyone at the counter is nice and attentive but I've never actually dined in here, so I'm not too sure about the wait staff. The ambiance is nice here too with a little patio outside and a pretty decent sized eating area.

First time here and everything looked amazing. I tried the pastrami sandwich on their homemade sourdough--so good. The orange juice was fresh and perfectly balanced, not too sweet or sour. I loved the chai latte too, smooth and not overly sweet. Highly recommend the Wagyu pastry and cookies--they're not greasy or too buttery, just right. Pira was very kind and patient while I took my time deciding, and even offered to slice my loaf. Great service and nice interior as well. I'll definitely be back soon!

Pretty good bread with lots of chew. Smoked salmon was fresh and the right amount of cream cheese without going overboard. Matcha latte was ok, but more milky and matcha doesn't stand out too much so probs better for coffee here. Ample seating though. Comfortable with 2 restrooms.

The food is good but it's gotten way too expensive. A salad plus their cost of living charge you're around $25, the sandwiches you're low 20's and even a croissant is around $8. Have been to a lot of similar places and they cost is 15-20% more at least(plus their cost of living charge)

One of the best bakeries in town for sure. Came with a friend for breakfast on a weekday and there was no wait for a table. We dined in, plus got a bunch of items to go. I tried: + Shakshuka + Cold brew + Oat Poppy Cookie + Kouign amann + Peach Morning Bun + Cinnamon roll + Apple Millet Cake + Avocado toast with over easy egg + Chocolate chip cookie The oat poppy cookie is a sleeper hit - one of the best and chewiest cookies ever. Kouign amann, avocado toast and chocolate chip cookie were my other favorites. Cinnamon roll is comically large and was a huge hit in the meeting I brought it to later. Apple Millet Cake and cold brew were also great. Shakshuka was the only miss - just kind of runny and off - it paled in comparison to the avo toast. The guy who helped us out at the register was super friendly!

Ok been here twice now and can say I am a fan. They are currently re-doing the outdoor dining area, it didn't affect my experience at all. It will be nice to have that option once finished. Inside is clean and fresh, nice big booths. Menu covers all the sandwich and salad greats- tuna, blt, caesar salad, just a few. Their bread is amazing. Do note however if you get something on a baguette, make sure you have solid strong chompers- the homemade sourdough is one sturdy loaf! I had the blt this time and it was sublime! Lightly toasted sliced sourdough. mayo, juicy tomato, top-notch crispy bacon, and lettuce in perfect ratios created a stellar sammie. BLTs are simple but hard to master. Lodge got it right with top quality components and that delicious sourdough. Companion is crazy for the vegan Caesar and I have to agree- it is top-notch. The croutons are so yum and the dressing is perfect- tart with a citrus punch. I washed it down with a mint lemonade and I have to say that was on-point too. Got a loaf to go, too. Why not? Love this place!

A good spot for pastries and good coffee. Order the shakshuka, some flat whites and pastries. Friendly staff and helpful servers. Not the most comfortable booths, but at least there is seating.

We went on a Saturday morning and didn't have an issue finding parking. There were plenty of spots available right out front. I had the breakfast sandwich and coffee while my partner had the chocolate cake and a croissant. I thought the portions were generous and was surprised at the size of the breakfast sandwich, it was a large sandwich. Everything was good! The staff were friendly and personable and checked in with us to make sure everything was OK. It being a new restaurant, it has a new and clean vibe to it.

I just experienced what can only be described as a life-altering berry scone. Flaky. Buttery. Perfectly sweet. I'm not saying it changed me... but I'm not not saying that. And if that alone doesn't earn this bakery your loyalty -- they slice their own sourdough. Yes. They will cut it for you!!! And don't get me started on the cinnamon roll...

This cafe is so cute. My ricotta jam toast was sweet and savory. I can't wait to come here again!

We ordered a few pastries to dine in and take away. Also ordered a Shakshuka. It's something I order often and recently in the Middle East. This shakshuka tasted like Borsht. I think it might be in the grilling or broiling the tomatoes and peppers, but this one didn't taste right. It was more of a soup/stew flavor instead of a breakfast treat. Service was lovely and my Flat White delicious.

I stopped at Lodge and had the best experience ! Not only was the croissant perfect and didn't upset our tummies because it was perfectly soured BUT the service was great! They were kind and helpful and went above and beyond the call of duty to see that we were pleased. And then the best thing happened, an employee named Jess came to me personally to make sure we were having a great experience , she had been swamped and she wanted to be sure that she wasn't short or neglectful in the rush of lunch. I thought that was so amazing and 'big' of her to do so. Lodge you are very lucky to have Jess and the gang to hold it down for you in BH! I can'twait to return!! Oh! And the ambiance was the nicest and cleanest of ALL Lodge Breads! Love, A Lodge Stan

For food I tried the avocado toast and smoked salmon bagel. Presentation is just as good as it tasted. They do not skimp on the avocado and load it up. I am always on the search for breakfast burritos. Their breakfast burrito made it on my top 3. I have not tried their other food items, but I will be back to try them. I have not heard one bad thing about their food. If you are thinking about getting a breakfast burrito, please go with the Dialog breakfast burrito. The egg is so fluffy, the sausage is thick and tasty, and the spicy ketchup gives it a kick of heat. You can also help yourself to an unlimited amount of aji verde and chiptotle aioli sauce! I really enjoyed both options on the burrito. Their beverages all look delicious. My friend tried the Wake N Date and described it to be a perfect balance of sweetness. It was filling but did not leave her bloated after. The protein also did not have a weird aftertaste like others may have. I had the triple cin latte and I could not get over how delicious and creamy this was. Parking can be tricky because it's West Hollywood (metered parking). They have indoor and outdoor seating - pet friendly. I will be back soon!!

I ordered an iced oat milk chai latte which was quite tasty with the right amount of cinnamon. I also ordered the avocado toast as my main entree and it was filling. The service was nice. The staff are very sweet and patient. However, I was unpleasantly surprised and disappointed when we received the check. On the check, we got an additional fee of $42.20 for "large party service charge." Our "large party" was only 6 people. My concern is that there is no written policy that says that large parties will get charged. We would have not chosen to eat here if we knew that there is an additional charge due to the fact that we are a group of 6 people. What if it was a family of 6? Please fix this issue!

After driving by several times, I finally had the opportunity to stop on in. Parking is metered street, and I was lucky to find a spot right across the way around 10:30a during the week. As you walk in, the host stand is at the end and there is seating to your left. My friend was already seated here, so I just walked on in to table. A nice waitress came over shortly thereafter, and I ordered a cocoa with oatmilk (small). This 'small' was served in a glass, whereas a large would be in a typical mug you would expect. As for the drink, it was pretty good. As we caught up, I perused the menu and decided on a side of tater tots and for the first time in my life, I ordered banana bread which I was told was the closest thing to a breakfast pastry on their menu, while he went with a chickpea scramble (no bread). I don't feel it took too long for the food to arrive since we were catching up and enjoying our drinks. The restaurant was getting busier around this time as well. The banana bread had Maldon sea salt and honeycomb butter. This wasn't bad at all; I just never really had this before but I did finish it (got the remainder of it to go for later). The tater tots were just tater tots, nothing special but a larger portion which would be great for sharing alongside a side of ketchup. Service was welcoming, the space is nice, restrooms are two separate ones for all genders. Other guests that sat near us were friendly as well which made for an all-around pleasant experience. No photos taken since I was actually enjoying the company I was in. There were a few choices I was given today to meet up, and I'm glad I chose this one. Would be willing to try pizza or their pasta dishes on a future (later) visit. Note: I did see quite a few cops in the area, so I don't know if they are nabbing people for jaywalking or something else, so just be aware-

The hostess must be in a (bad) mood on Friday, May 22 because she tossed/threw the menus on our table when we wanted to sit in a specific table. Wonder what her issue was? My husband ordered the Surfer's Burrito ($18.50) and I got the OG Avocado Toast ($18). Additional $4.00 to add impossible sausage to the burrito. Food was good, nice and flavorful but definitely overpriced. $18 for a small ol avocado toast and at $18.50 for a burrito, you would think there's at least some kind of protein in it. They have an extensive cocktail list as well as mocktails and all kinds of juices available. I thought the Daughter Water ($9.00) sounded pretty refreshing. It's a cold pressed spritz with soda water, mint and your choice of juice. I decided on the water flower option with watermelon, fennel, honeydew, lime and lavender. Like everywhere in WeHo, metered parking on the streets so good luck with that. Minus one star for the menu being tossed at us and minus another star for the price to food portion.

We walked in expecting a quiet lunch and quickly realized the World Cup was on. The screening room was packed with members watching the match, and it was fun seeing everyone so invested in the game. Since we wanted to catch up, we headed to the garden patio instead. There were plenty of people enjoying lunch outside, though it never felt loud. We never had to raise our voices to hear each other, which made it easy to relax and enjoy the afternoon. Our server was fantastic. She checked on us throughout the meal, kept our drinks refreshed, and always seemed to know when to stop by and when to give us space. We never felt rushed, which made the afternoon even more enjoyable. We started with the calamari to share. I ordered the Faroe Island king salmon with sautéed spinach and chimichurri, and my friend had the chopped salad. The salmon had a beautiful sear and was cooked perfectly, while the chimichurri added just the right amount of brightness. We each ordered the cucumber cocktail, mine with vodka and his with gin. It was crisp, refreshing, and exactly what I wanted on such a hot afternoon. It paired especially well with the salmon. One detail I really appreciate about Soho House is its no-photo policy. After spending a few hours there, it made perfect sense. Around us, people were catching up with friends, having meetings, enjoying lunch, or watching the match without phones constantly pointed around the room. It made the entire space feel more relaxed, and I found myself appreciating being somewhere that encouraged people to be present with each other. Nothing felt forced or overly formal. We were able to settle in, enjoy a great meal, and spend a few hours catching up without ever feeling like our table was needed for the next reservation. By the time we left, I completely understood why so many people enjoy being members. One last detail worth mentioning is valet. The attendants were friendly, professional, and efficient. We had that experience here. The only let down we had was with some of the food. The salad and the Club sandwich were great. The wagyu burger could have used seasoning- it felt like the meat itself was not the star of the dish, but only a texture. Its flavor was not brought out. Moreover, the fries were over seasoned and felt quite salty even without any dipping sauce. I enjoy my fries with ranch but the fries were too strong for ranch and it was overpowering. The cheese for the pretzel bites were also lacking in flavor. Lastly the pot stickers could have used a bit more filling because they were literally quite flat. Therefore, it's a 4/5 for me.
