Polite and cheerful staff. Clean cafe with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Located downstairs of the Orinda library. Nice selection of drinks, sandwiches and salads. Look forward to returning again .

Cafe Teatro is a nice cafe to come in, order a drink, and relax. The bottom of Orinda Library is a nice place to relax. There is no bad review about Cafe Teatro. I can not complain about Cafe Teatro. I had a drink and a dessert. The reviews that people have mention are true. No bad experience the past time I had Cafe Teatro. Yes you can use the wifi from the library

breakfast sandwich w/ bacon & half the cheddar cheese

Cute little cafe that I came across while browsing Yelp spots in Orinda. I met a friend here around 10 AM on a Saturday morning and there were a good amount of folks sitting at the tables outside and eating. We quickly placed our order and it was ready in about 10-15 minutes. I ordered the breakfast sandwich with bacon & half the cheddar cheese ($5.95) and it was delicious! The egg was nice and fluffy and the bacon provided the perfect amount of saltiness and texture. If you're looking for a brunch/lunch spot, I'd recommend giving this place a try. My friend ordered the tuna melt and also enjoyed it. Prices are reasonable, 3 hour parking is pretty easy to find, and if you come on a Saturday they have a nice little farmer's market within walking distance.

Little gem in Lamorinda serving up bomb little breakfast burritos for $8. The owner stayed open for me beyond closing and this snack was on point. Perfect place to grab a bite. Please note they close at 2pm Saturdays. Sat outside and enjoyed the civic center part of Orinda. Even in the chilly light rain it was lovely.

Cold brew with vanilla foam. Too late to snap the cookie I already ate it.

Yum! They have great cold brew! I also had a cookie and it was also yummy! Nice folks in there too. I'm passing thru but will be back!!!

Not overly sweet like a lot of caramel drinks can be -- just perfectly balanced and really smooth. You can tell they actually care about their coffee. Of course I also had to try their empanadas since everyone talks about them. I got the beef and the chicken and they were SO good. The dough was soft and fresh, and the filling was super flavorful and meaty. Nothing dry or skimpy about them. Honestly this place feels like a new hidden gem in Lafayette. I've tried pretty much every café around here and this one is easily my favorite. Also love that this place is Latino-owned, which makes supporting them feel even better. Great coffee, amazing empanadas, and just an overall really good experience. I'm already excited to come back and try their matcha next time!

I always get the chorizo (they somehow make it NOT greasy and drippy), and you can get chicken-apple sausage instead if you're not a chorizo person. One of their specialties is their assortment of empanadas. If you're on the go, you can order it as is and heat it up in the toaster oven if there's one at your destination, OR have them toast it for you which takes 8-10 min. The coffees and agua frescas are also top notch. Service is 10/10- they make excellent suggestions based on what you like and what they're proud of that day, and the ambiance is cute and comfy!

I ordered one their popular drinks, the banana cream cafe de olla cold brew. Hands down one of the best cold brews I've ever had! The coffee shop was easy to find in Crockett and there was free street parking, which was a plus. Inside, they had plenty of tables to sit, hang with friends, or do work. Can't wait to visit again and highly recommend if you're looking for coffee in this area.

Right when you walk in there is a case of delicious pastries and a menu with many specialty drinks. I was overwhelmed by the menu but the barista was very helpful in picking drinks and pastries. I got a hot Piloncillo Latte with oat milk which was delightful. Not too sweet and perfectly foamy top and was delicious. My boyfriend got an iced Mexican vanilla latte and that was pretty good too. I did prefer my Piloncillo latte tho. For pastries I recommend the pineapple guava cheese roll. They remind me of Porto's but BETTER. It had a good balance of sweet and a slight tang from the pineapple. So good We also got the blue masa chocolate chip cookie which was also good. The masa gave the cookie a more crumbly texture and I swear the chocolate tasted a little like the abuelita hot chocolate. A good pick if you like chocolate The only thing I don't like about this place is the lids for their hot drinks since it's kinda hard to drink out of but aside from that they're awesome.

Sesame can be a strong flavor, but I still tasted the coffee (probably because of how many espresso shots it had as a large). From the moment we walked up to the counter, the attitude was cold, irritated, and downright unfriendly. Ordering felt more like an inconvenience than a customer interaction. To top it off, nobody asked whether we wanted our food for here or to go, yet everything arrived packed in to-go containers. When we opened one of the boxes, it looked like our food had lost a fight with a tumble dryer. The presentation was so rough that we genuinely laughed because we couldn't believe it was being served that way. Good coffee and food can be forgiven for an occasional mistake, but poor customer service is much harder to overlook. Hopefully this was just an off day, because a little friendliness and a lot less attitude would go a long way.
