Good coffee, delicious bibimbap, and very friendly service! It is a bit tucked away in an office building but there is ample parking nearby.

We also tried the BOP Bowl, and it was pure mouthwatering goodness. The beef was so tender it practically melted in your mouth. Next time I'll definitely add an egg on top for a little extra protein--it would be the perfect finishin~ touch! The food is creative and it's done right, Wow Cow is definitely worth checking out. The little park to sit at is charming as well. They do have bathrooms if needed.

I got their kalbi burger and I could really taste the Korean flavors as it had a mixture of sweet and savory. It was a bit sweeter than I expected. The burger tasted alright but for me, nothing outstanding. We also ordered the basil truffle fries. The texture was alright but I wish it had more truffle flavor. I couldn't really taste it nor the basil. The chicken nuggets were okay, typical nuggets. I'm glad I tried but maybe eating it in person would've made it more fresh and the buns would be less soggy. I really liked the little cow we found in our fries. It was quite small though, good thing the toddler we ate with didn't take it and attempt to eat it.

To be honest, when our plans to go bowling and have lunch at Big Al's today fell through because…read morethey didn't open till 3, but we still wanted to eat (and hadn't had breakfast yet at 1:30), I tried every option I could think of to not go to Bannings. When we moved to Oregon, it was under construction but we kept hearing how good it was - in fact, all the local FB pages would gush about it when a newcomer would ask about the best restaurant. And once it finally opened, we tried it, but it was kind of like Marie calendars and Shari's, but local. Ok, but not what we had expected for all the hype. So, after trying a handful of options it seemed Bannings was the only place we could still get breakfast so I begrudgingly agreed. Well, I was mistaken! I got the breakfast enchiladas and a strawberry orange mimosa. Now, the mimosa - I'll get that out of the way first. It was weird - it looked curdled. It just had mashed strawberry at the bottom and it actually was quite good. I'd do a normal mimosa in the future, but good. But the enchiladas - delicious. Like, I'll come back again and again for those. And they didn't charge me extra for the avocado, which I think is righteous because I asked for no hash browns. But not all places would do that, they'd nickel and dime even if you passed on one side for another. Additionally; my husband likes a savory breakfast and a sweet one too - so he often gets two breakfasts and though he may not eat all of both he gets that savory and sweet. Well, the omelettes come with 3 pancakes. Perfection. And, I took 3 bites of them - I usually might try 1 or not at all - they are very very good. Last - it did not break the bank. I've about ruled out breakfast out because of how crazy expensive the places that should be reasonable are. This was reasonable - PLEASE DONT CHANGE!! All in all 5 stars, will be back for breakfast; and hey - when I'm wrong I can admit I was wrong! Give them a try if you haven't!

I had t the Turkey, Bacon, and Swiss Croissant. Not sure if the sandwich was heated, or if it was under the heat lamp too long. as it was slightly warm. She also had a can of Vortex and it was cold and fresh. To me, the best part was the requested tartar sauce for the french fries. I tasted a hint of tarragon and it was so good. We did not have any pie as we were full. I just feel that 18.25 and 18.95 +2.00 for black bean is too expensive. $20.95 is just too high for a taco salad. Megan was also excellent as our server. She was very friendly and engaging. We will be back when in the area if we have the need.

We had our little dog with us so I was happy to see they had a dog friendly patio. It was a warm day and the staff immediately brought her out a bowl of water, which was a thoughtful gesture and shows the level of service they offer to their patrons. Our server, I believe her name was Casey, was lovely. She was friendly and seemed to know a lot of the regulars by name which gave the restaurant a welcoming feel. I ordered the Danish pancakes (Æbleskiver), and they were absolutely delicious. They came with house-made lemon curd and lingonberry jam, and both were incredible. The lemon curd was rich and creamy with just the right amount of tartness, while the lingonberry jam added a sweet-tart flavor that paired perfectly with the fluffy pancakes. Four of them were more than enough to fill me up. My husband ordered the Pytt i Panna, a traditional Swedish hash made with crispy potatoes, bell peppers, and onions, topped with two soft-baked eggs and served with pickled beets and Nordic rye toast. It was hearty, comforting, and full of flavor. The pickled beets were a nice contrast to the savory hash, and everything on the plate was scrumptious! Between the delicious food, welcoming service, and dog-friendly patio, we had a very nice time and it was a good send-off before our walk through the woods to find Ole Bolle. I'd happily come back the next time I'm in the area.

We came early for the Old Bolle Troll (can visit anytime during…read moredaylight hours) and then came back Broder Soder for brunch at 8AM (Saturday) - no wait upon opening despite having a group of 6. We started with the cardamom latte (rich and nutty) and the matcha marzipan (sweet and with enough aromatic almond flavor) and then proceeded to feast. We started with the Danish pancake donuts- lovely in that they were both savory and sweet, comes with lemon curd and jam. The lefse breakfast was really interesting - a layered thicker 'crepe' with cheese and egg. The fish plate was our family favorite - an epic collection of shrimp, mini shrimps, gravlax, pickled herring (our favorite) various breads, crackers and sauces. Very well presented, fun to eat, and enough to share. We also ordered the Swedish meatballs - rich hearty but small and few (5 total). Luckily, we had plenty of other food and this dish was great with sherry mushroom sauce and a delicious potato latke-like side. Our server was also incredibly personable, friendly, and helpful in our food choices which we always appreciate.

Whether you're a solo diner or with family, the layout is excellent--I love the cozy 2-person side tables when I'm by myself, and they have great booth seating for groups. The atmosphere is bright, clean, and very welcoming. During my recent stay in Tigard, I enjoyed: * Spicy Wild Shrimp Pomodoro: Perfectly seasoned and delicious. * Penne Bolognese & Chicken Meatballs: They offer gluten-free penne, which is a huge plus! The texture and flavor were spot on. * Cilantro Lime Salad & Roma Tomato Basil Soup: A fresh, comforting, and reliable choice. * Hot Mint Tea: The perfect way to round out the meal. What truly sets this place apart is the staff. Everyone is incredibly friendly and professional--the kind of service that makes you want to leave a generous tip and keep coming back. ### A few tips for your visit: Beat the Crowd: It gets very busy during weekend lunch hours, and takeout orders can take some time. If you're like me and prefer not to wait, order online in advance! It's a major time-saver. Parking: Since it's located at Washington Square Mall, there is plenty of parking available, though it fills up fast on weekends. Highly recommended for a high-quality, reliable, and friendly dining experience!

My friend has been raving about eating here and how kid friendly it is and I couldn't agree more! It was a busy Saturday lunch time but the line went quickly since you order at the counter and seat yourselves. However, there is still table service that will bring you drinks and the food even though you pay at the counter beforehand. This was such an interesting model but we had phenomenal service (even with a big group and multiple kids at our tables) so I only wished I knew how this worked ahead of time. Now, the food options fit onto one menu pamphlet but it had a variety of choices for everyone including salads, soups, sandwiches, burgers, steaks, seafood and an amazing kids menu filled with salmon, chicken, and pastas. I thoroughly enjoyed my crispy toasted Santa Fe Chicken Panini with side of homemade chips (but in hindsight the side salad would have been the perfect balance to this rich sandwich) I got my toddler the salmon kids meal which came with juice or milk and potatoes and green beans with a side of fruit of strawberries, orange slice and grapes. But honestly the BEST part of the meal was the table warm bread rolls with this indulgent and fluffy sauce garlic Parmesan butter. Wow that was definitely the highlight of the meal and probably their secret weapon?! The dining room is inside the mall and there were seating by the windows overlooking people walking under on the first floor. But I have heard other Nordstrom Cafes that actually have fantastic views so I know it's location-dependent. Either way, I was so impressed by the quality of food and service here and I'm looking forward to coming back again soon!
