Dessert Food: 2/5 Drinks: 2.5/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Seating: 4/5 Parking: 5/5 Located in a large shopping plaza, lots of unlimited free parking in the very large parking lot. Inside has a gray, modern aesthetic and some seating from bar stools to tables with chairs + booth. I think the ambiance is good to stay and chat with friends for awhile. Lots of options on the menu, the cashier was nice, customer service 4/5. Ordered Matcha Oreo Slush ($7.95), 2.5/5. It was sweet from the crushed oreos and chocolate drizzle on the side. Besides that, the slush itself didn't have too much of a taste, either too icy or milky. Costs $1 for water+ice cup. Ordered 3 piece Boong O Pang ($9.95 + $2 flavors), 2/5 . They were slightly crispy on the edges but mostly soft. I ordered the Oreo Nutella (+$1) which was my favorite though it didn't have too much Nutella filling. Next was regular custard which it appears they used a type of custard that's very sweet and more of a jello consistency. Last was Strawberry Custard (+$1), unfortunately it appears they used chunks of strawberries that either were out too long or stewed in something as the strawberries were very sour and soggy and tasted a bit fermented. It was these strawberry bits with the regular custard but the strawberries threw me off so I ended up not finishing. The underwhelming flavors on the inside and the lack of crisp on the outside made these soggy desserts that I would not order again.

Cafe Tori is a small cafe offering coffee, iced teas, and Korean inspired desserts, including boong pang (pastry), bingsu (shaved ice), and açaí bowls. The cafe is small, but clean and inviting. Staff is friendly and happy to answer any questions. I tried the mango bingsu and it's definitely a must-try... the mango was so fresh and the dessert itself was delicious. The peach black tea had fresh fruit in it and it was also good. Will definitely be coming back to try more items!

I was craving something really sweet and cold after a big meal of Korean barbecue so I found this little café Tori which serves Boba Matcha, coffee and Bing soo. You can only dine in for the Bing soo. We ordered the mango and strawberry Oreo. Dalgona Coffee and Dalgona Matcha Mango. They have self serve kiosk so not much you can do for alternatives unless you ask over the counter. The ambiance was nice and modern like the usual boba cafes. I really loved the shaved ice on the bing soo, both flavor toppings went well and really refreshing. I would definitely come back for this dessert when I'm in the area again!

Cafe Tori has not disappointed. The Korean Shaved Ice is absolutely delicious. They have a great menu with lots of options. Staff are always friendly and informative. The shop is always clean and the decor has a high end feel.

This will forever be my favorite bingsu spot at Bakersfield! Today I ordered the matcha strawberry bingsu. The flavor was on point, it brought a great balance of sweetness with the matcha. The shaved ice is always fluffy as a cloud and creamy as ever. Definitely a top rated spot with amazing customer service, and a beautiful interior design here in the city of Bakersfield. So if you if you're local here and want to save some money and time from driving to LA, then Cafe Tori is your spot!!! They also offer a lot of other option like boba and hot foods as well. Came back after a long while and it's still good!!! Went for a ton of boba this time. While I thought it was expensive, I see why after getting my drinks! Well worth it and has more to it than other boba shops around town. Matcha was great, lots of effort placed into my drinks, so be patient while they prepare your order!

Went for a second time and this place is very unique with the drinks they offer, true authenticity as well as an inviting environment. I tried a matcha coffee boba and it was good and rich in flavor. I found it nice that they offer Bingsu, however I have yet to try it with my family. The Service was also kind and time-efficient with the orders.

This place is one of my favorite spots for a sweet treat. My favorite is the Mango Bing Su and the Strawberry Bing Su. the mango has such a refreshing and sweet flavor that doesn't feel overly sweet. The fruits always seem fresh and the condensed milk and shaved ice are a nice compliment along with the syrup and whipped topping. It takes some time for them to construct the Bing Su but the presentation and the flavor overall more than makeup for the wait. Overall the place is nice, there isn't a whole lot of seating and it may be difficult to find a spot to enjoy since the bing su is a dine in only option but definitely try it out!

Fun cute and unique spot that services Bingsu a Korean style shaved ice of many flavors like taro, mango Oreo an so many more! The service was amazing! My eyes were hungry and they were super patient with me ! I ended up going with a going with the chocolate mocha blended coffee and wow! it was made with so much love and sweetness, it felt like a whole experience in a cup. I had to rush back to work, so I couldn't enjoy a bingsu this time, but trust me... I'll absolutely be back soon!!!!

Such a vibe! Love the interior designs and how most of the items on their menu are displayed by the counter. The bingsu was okay. I ordered the mango and asked the cashier if their mango is sweet, to which she immediately said yes. When I got my order, the mango was not ripe enough and ruined the experience for me. Had the mango been sweet, I would have bumped another star to this review. Their taiyaki was good though. I will give this place another try when it's mango season or choose a different flavor of bingsu next time.

I give this restaurant5 stars for cleanliness. Staff is very nice and polite.. My kids enjoyed their "fish waffles" . I will definitely be back to try some of the other items they offer.

We stop by this cafe on our California road trip because I want to try Korean coffee. The cup looks like all the other Asian coffee (think 85 degrees) but the flavor is definitely unique. The coffee flavor is mild but pack a punch. We also order their version of taiyaki (Boong o pang). Delicious! Service is pretty speedy and the cafe is nicely decorated. Will come back to try other things!

Dessert: 4.25. Came by because I just happened to be in the area and will always want to try new bingsoo places. Place was mostly empty when I arrived but got much busier later. Seating is inside only. This place uses the other spelling of bingsoo (bingsu). I ordered their popular mango bingsu ($15.16 after tax). They only have one size. My order was ready timely and looked very appealing. I did have issue with the bowl used. Mango pieces were close to falling off and did a couple times when I tried to eat the dessert Mango was very flavorful but a little too sweet compared to other mango bingsoo I've had. Staff was efficient and friendly. Pricing was comparable but the size is better suited for 2-4 people.

Was so excited to find a new Korean cafe in my hometown! Tori Cafe is located on the corner of Stockdale and California in between Baskin Robbins and the Dollar Store close to Home Goods. The place has a nice, clean, industrial vibe. Glad to see that there was ample indoor seating. Enjoyed the piped-in Korean music. They serve "bingsu" (a Korean shaved ice dessert topped with fresh fruit, honey and/or condensed milk), a variety of boba drinks, teas, milk teas, smoothies, coffee, açaí and dragonfruit bowls, and Japanese cheesecake. What a treat! Had to try the bingsu. The shaved ice was light, fluffy and delicately sweetened. Because the strawberry bingsu was sold-out, I ordered the mango bingsu. The fresh mangoes were tart but delicious with the sweetened shaved ice. They also carry an Oreo bingsu and a Patbingsu (red bean). Also ordered a slice of their strawberry Japanese cheesecake. They had Matcha, Yuzu, Mango, and Strawberry cheesecake flavors. Portion is small, texture is dense and silky smooth with a just a hint of sweetness. Was excited to see "Dalgona coffee" on their menu. Will definitely be back to try it and the other goodies on their menu. read more

I was so lucky to find this place close to my house, it is the best and only favorite tea/boba place in town that I have. Worst Vanilla Milk Tea I have ever had. I love milk teas and trying new places but this milk tea just literally tasted like vanilla syrup + milk. I could honestly just make that at home or go to Starbucks and ask for it. It took 20 minutes for my order and they didnt even seem busy at all. There was no ac inside the store and it felt super stuffy inside as well. The cashier didnt even greet me as I came in. read more

I just moved to Bakersfield from the Bay Area and this is one of the best boba places that I've tried so far. The boba is nice and chewy! I also love matcha and is pretty picky about my matcha. I tried their matcha cold brew recently and it's probably the best I've had so far in Bakersfield. Honestly, this is a great place when you have a boba craving. read more

Ok. Haven't been here in a while because I don't like the homeless screamers as I arrive and leave. That's me. Food appears the same but they now have these Japanese style fish shaped grill pastry thingamabobs. Don't know the name with various fillings 3 for $9.95. I wanted red bean. Haven't had them since Japan so I added them to my three medium bowls. Came to $48 and change. I tried to pay with a $50. We don't take big bills. I asked didn't you just say it was $48 something? Yes. We don't take big bills. So either this country is so destroyed we can't keep our businesses safe from counterfeits or they don't like handling cash or both. I didn't bring plastic in so I had 2 $20s and like 4 $1s. I coulda used Apple Pay I know but I didn't want any charges at this time of the cycle. The way I manage my plastic$$$. So no thingamabobs for me!! read more

I was initially pissed bc I ordered pick up through grub hub. And it said it'd take an hour for 2 açaí bowls. When I got there 30 min later they still hadn't even started my order. "Welcome back" -- they already know me here because I've been coming here a lot already. My favorites so far are the aloe grapefruit green tea and the litchi lime green tea with boba. We've had the açaí bowls, which they do a great job with. Also, I splurged with the mango cheesecake and it was very tasty. I was disappointed when TBaar in this exact location closed, but Cafe Tori has won me over. read more

This new spot along Stockdale rocks! Great drinks and excellent service and love the Japanese matcha cheesecake . Beautiful interior to enjoy when they finally open up for indoor visit . They even have Boba drinks and a Variety of lemonade drinks This place is perfect for for a super nutritious meal and drink and to just relax and enjoy an afternoon. This is my go to spot in this area . Enjoy this wonderful business Bakersfield ! They have online ordering also. Best of both worlds! read more

My husband and I are always on the hunt for a good boba spot. We found Cafe Tori and it looked really good, we had to try it out. First off, $10 for 1 boba drink is ridiculously expensive, when I could buy the same drink for $6 somewhere else. We ordered the strawberry matcha dalgona since it was one of the favorites on the menu. The strawberry tasted extremely sour and foul, even after thoroughly mixing the drink. It left such a weird taste in my mouth, and after paying $10 for it, I had to say something. After speaking to the girl who made my drink AND the owner, they both had no care in the quality of their drinks. They refused to believe that their ingredients tasted foul and refused to remake our drinks, no apology whatsoever. The owner said "matcha is too expensive for us to remake. I'll just add more sugar to it." Now I have a ridiculously sweet drink that tastes like pure sugar. Thanks, I didn't realize sugar helps counteract rotten fruit... read more

I was able to comeby today and ordered the Matcha Tiramisu, Matcha Oreo Slushy, Matcha Milk Tea, Thai Milk Tea, Taro Milk Tea and four types of macaron ice cream. They place looks great and the feels is good but regardless of the place its the drink and food is what I'm after. This review is only for the teas and the matcha tiramisu. The matcha tiramisu is too bitter and the cake layer is dry. The Matcha milk tea taste bad where it taste like a drink with dirt in it. The thai tea doesn't taste like one as well and I ask for coffee jelly and seems like they put in boba instead. I didnt try the matcha oreo slushy since my son had it. He only took some sip and he said it doesnt taste good. The star above is for the place since it has a nice and cozy feeling. Hope this review helps improve the drinks and dessert. I haven't tried the other desserts so I'll let others judge those. read more

This place is the heart of boba in Bakersfield. I've mainly been going to "It's Boba Time" often for boba but, this place is way better. They have really good employees that are kind and cool. There House Milk tea is the best I've ever tasted and the boba is top notch. I really recommend this place and hope more people can see this and try it. read more

did not take any photos sadly but the owner is insanely nice and hospitable. i was buying cheesecake for my girlfriend and i and i originally wanted the matcha tiramisu, but he told me that they were actually out. so instead i ordered the matcha oreo cheesecake (delicious btw). when my stuff was ready he told me that he actually found the last matcha tiramisu and added it to my order on the house! extremely nice as he did not need to do that! the iced coffee that i've tried there is also really good, not too sweet as well. highly recommend going to try the cheesecake (highly recommend the yuzu) and iced coffee. read more

The space itself is pretty small with very limited seating; I've been several times and my go to order is the Vanilla dream protein smoothie it's smooth, filling and doesn't have the chalky protein taste. The banana match is another favorite. Drinks typically range from about $7-11. I've also purchased protein powder and their magnesium complex here. The supplements are on the pricer side. The staff has always been welcoming and friendly. Overall, if you're into protein coffee, matcha, or wellness products, NOU Bar is definitely worth checking out.

I have always had them during my stay in Irvine and such but for breakfast, I was not sure what I wanted. However, I went with my instincts and I was glad that I did, for Brazilian Acai Bowls serves a great product! As soon as I walked in I was greeted by a friendly smile who gladly explained the menu and process from pre-created meals to fully custom bowls ready to be made for any individual. They have three sizes, small, medium, and large that you can choose from. Since I wanted something specific I chose to make my own as they had a plethora of options ranging from choosing your base, i.g. matcha, acai, or oatmeal, to popular toppings such as granola and blueberries. Her multi-tasking abilities were amazing as she was making it, ringing me up and answering my questions about the establishment with ease. She can definitely do everything! Once she finished she gave me my completed product to my specification with a gentle smile, (great service). I picked up a spoonful and it tasted as good as it looked! Each bite was carefully layered so that it has a bit of everything and each ingredient complimented to acai. The only downside is that they didn't have some of the ingredients in stock compared to their other location, however, this is mainly because it is a brand new store compared to their flagship location. tl:dr I would go here again as their prices were reasonable for the amount that you get. My fully custom bowl with almost 8 add-ons cost roughly $12

Globalization and the world within, for f' sakes! This place is truly brilliant. More recently, I'm only in town a few days out of the week, but I make a point to visit this location or their other location, Mokhamena on Panama, each day I'm here to, at a minimum, pick up two for myself--the first one is to function and the second is to savor. There was a time I'd pick up the party-size for my coworkers when I liked them... but alas, times have changed so more for me. The staff there are always friendly and awesome, and on days that I'm lucky enough, I get to actually enjoy the cafe. So grateful you guys are here and sharing flavors from across the world.

I've been a regular here for a while now, and they are nothing if not consistent. This place hits the mark every single time. The Main Attractions Custard Taiyaki: The undisputed star. They serve these fresh and piping hot. The batter is always cooked to that perfect golden-brown crisp, and the custard center is pure magic. Acai Bowls: I've had these a few times now, and they are consistently fresh and delicious. It's my "healthy-ish" go-to when I'm not face-deep in a custard fish. The Drink Situation This time, I branched out and tried the Classic Thai Milk Tea with Boba. The Verdict: The flavor of the tea was solid, but the boba itself wasn't the best I've ever had. It leaned a bit too far into the "extra chewy" territory for my liking. It's definitely not bad, but if you're a boba connoisseur, just know it's a bit of a jaw workout! The Experience The Vibe: The shop is always spotless, which I really appreciate. The staff is consistently super nice, even when they're slammed. I just recently moved here from LA and been craving boba for a long time. I ordered taro smoothies, milk tea and cheesecake through DoorDash for me and my daughter. The boba milk tea and taro don't taste anything like they should. They are very bland, unflavorful, and lacking either tea or just straight from powder. The cheesecake is too small for the price. pre set menu options but they are extremely good. i've had a good amount of Bingsu but i will definitely say that the Pat Bingsu is by far my favorite. I am not much of a fan of red bean fan but the Pat Bingsu changed my mind. Would definitely recommend. Its a small shop so the ambiance is calm, service was a 10/10. read more

great service and amazing bingsu, made a quick stop here after looking at the photos and will say the food was delicious. they make it right as you order. the downside is that the bingsu cant be taken to go. the kpop music was very enjoyable and everything looked so clean, will be coming back again. read more
