Dessert Food: 2/5 Drinks: 2.5/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Seating: 4/5 Parking: 5/5 Located in a large shopping plaza, lots of unlimited free parking in the very large parking lot. Inside has a gray, modern aesthetic and some seating from bar stools to tables with chairs + booth. I think the ambiance is good to stay and chat with friends for awhile. Lots of options on the menu, the cashier was nice, customer service 4/5. Ordered Matcha Oreo Slush ($7.95), 2.5/5. It was sweet from the crushed oreos and chocolate drizzle on the side. Besides that, the slush itself didn't have too much of a taste, either too icy or milky. Costs $1 for water+ice cup. Ordered 3 piece Boong O Pang ($9.95 + $2 flavors), 2/5 . They were slightly crispy on the edges but mostly soft. I ordered the Oreo Nutella (+$1) which was my favorite though it didn't have too much Nutella filling. Next was regular custard which it appears they used a type of custard that's very sweet and more of a jello consistency. Last was Strawberry Custard (+$1), unfortunately it appears they used chunks of strawberries that either were out too long or stewed in something as the strawberries were very sour and soggy and tasted a bit fermented. It was these strawberry bits with the regular custard but the strawberries threw me off so I ended up not finishing. The underwhelming flavors on the inside and the lack of crisp on the outside made these soggy desserts that I would not order again.

Cafe Tori is a small cafe offering coffee, iced teas, and Korean inspired desserts, including boong pang (pastry), bingsu (shaved ice), and açaí bowls. The cafe is small, but clean and inviting. Staff is friendly and happy to answer any questions. I tried the mango bingsu and it's definitely a must-try... the mango was so fresh and the dessert itself was delicious. The peach black tea had fresh fruit in it and it was also good. Will definitely be coming back to try more items!

I was craving something really sweet and cold after a big meal of Korean barbecue so I found this little café Tori which serves Boba Matcha, coffee and Bing soo. You can only dine in for the Bing soo. We ordered the mango and strawberry Oreo. Dalgona Coffee and Dalgona Matcha Mango. They have self serve kiosk so not much you can do for alternatives unless you ask over the counter. The ambiance was nice and modern like the usual boba cafes. I really loved the shaved ice on the bing soo, both flavor toppings went well and really refreshing. I would definitely come back for this dessert when I'm in the area again!

Cafe Tori has not disappointed. The Korean Shaved Ice is absolutely delicious. They have a great menu with lots of options. Staff are always friendly and informative. The shop is always clean and the decor has a high end feel.

This will forever be my favorite bingsu spot at Bakersfield! Today I ordered the matcha strawberry bingsu. The flavor was on point, it brought a great balance of sweetness with the matcha. The shaved ice is always fluffy as a cloud and creamy as ever. Definitely a top rated spot with amazing customer service, and a beautiful interior design here in the city of Bakersfield. So if you if you're local here and want to save some money and time from driving to LA, then Cafe Tori is your spot!!! They also offer a lot of other option like boba and hot foods as well. Came back after a long while and it's still good!!! Went for a ton of boba this time. While I thought it was expensive, I see why after getting my drinks! Well worth it and has more to it than other boba shops around town. Matcha was great, lots of effort placed into my drinks, so be patient while they prepare your order!

Went for a second time and this place is very unique with the drinks they offer, true authenticity as well as an inviting environment. I tried a matcha coffee boba and it was good and rich in flavor. I found it nice that they offer Bingsu, however I have yet to try it with my family. The Service was also kind and time-efficient with the orders.

This place is one of my favorite spots for a sweet treat. My favorite is the Mango Bing Su and the Strawberry Bing Su. the mango has such a refreshing and sweet flavor that doesn't feel overly sweet. The fruits always seem fresh and the condensed milk and shaved ice are a nice compliment along with the syrup and whipped topping. It takes some time for them to construct the Bing Su but the presentation and the flavor overall more than makeup for the wait. Overall the place is nice, there isn't a whole lot of seating and it may be difficult to find a spot to enjoy since the bing su is a dine in only option but definitely try it out!

Fun cute and unique spot that services Bingsu a Korean style shaved ice of many flavors like taro, mango Oreo an so many more! The service was amazing! My eyes were hungry and they were super patient with me ! I ended up going with a going with the chocolate mocha blended coffee and wow! it was made with so much love and sweetness, it felt like a whole experience in a cup. I had to rush back to work, so I couldn't enjoy a bingsu this time, but trust me... I'll absolutely be back soon!!!!

Such a vibe! Love the interior designs and how most of the items on their menu are displayed by the counter. The bingsu was okay. I ordered the mango and asked the cashier if their mango is sweet, to which she immediately said yes. When I got my order, the mango was not ripe enough and ruined the experience for me. Had the mango been sweet, I would have bumped another star to this review. Their taiyaki was good though. I will give this place another try when it's mango season or choose a different flavor of bingsu next time.

We stop by this cafe on our California road trip because I want to try Korean coffee. The cup looks like all the other Asian coffee (think 85 degrees) but the flavor is definitely unique. The coffee flavor is mild but pack a punch. We also order their version of taiyaki (Boong o pang). Delicious! Service is pretty speedy and the cafe is nicely decorated. Will come back to try other things!

Dessert: 4.25. Came by because I just happened to be in the area and will always want to try new bingsoo places. Place was mostly empty when I arrived but got much busier later. Seating is inside only. This place uses the other spelling of bingsoo (bingsu). I ordered their popular mango bingsu ($15.16 after tax). They only have one size. My order was ready timely and looked very appealing. I did have issue with the bowl used. Mango pieces were close to falling off and did a couple times when I tried to eat the dessert Mango was very flavorful but a little too sweet compared to other mango bingsoo I've had. Staff was efficient and friendly. Pricing was comparable but the size is better suited for 2-4 people.

Stop whatever you're doing now and RUN to Cafe Tori to get a Mango Bingsu, because otherwise you're going to miss out on the most delicious, cool, refreshing &unique dessert ever! We have been to Seoul and absolutely love Korean shaved ice, aka Bingsu, and have dreamed of having a local place where we could have some, so we were so excited to hear that Cafe Tori offered it. They didn't let us down! It was just as delicious as those we had in Seoul, and the service and presentation were amazing as well. It was topped with tons of fresh mango, and large enough that two people could share it, or one very hungry person. Highly recommend Cafe Tori and can't wait to go back and try their other offerings. read more

Super cool spot! Wife was looking for some bingsoo, which is hard to find in Bakersfield. This is the new spot for sure! Super authentic Korean patbingsoo! One word: AMAZING Fresh Fruits, amazing presentation and TASTE Now one of my favorite boba spots in Bakersfield and recommend EVERYONE to go that loves boba and cheesecake! Haven't tried their acai bowls, but definitely plan on it CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS AMAZING Everyone was so nice! The photos online are no joke and are the real deal. I would say that TBaar and Cafe Tori are definitely both in first place for best boba and service in Bakersfield! Nice little place. AC was set at 85 so it was still fairly warm inside since it was over 100 outside. Definitely $$ and is more of a self service type of place. Not really happy being asked if I want to tip and yet still have to pay $1 to have a cup of water when spending $30 on 3 drinks... I can see if we were non-paying customers. read more

Ive tried the mango, strawberry, and pat bingsu and all of them are amazing! Not too sweet, but still yummy and flavorful! If you like peanuts and that nutty flavor, i highly recommend the pat bingsu since it's definitely my favorite. It also comes topped with almonds, red bean, and mochi. The service is quick and friendly, and the cafe is decorated so cute aesthetically! read more

This place is such a special treat for my daughter and I. It's so hard to find a place that has delicious Japanese snacks and drinks. There is something here for everybody, I love their Lemonades, Thai Tea, and Coffee Macaroon Ice cream. My daughter has tried every drink on the menu, and has decided Coconut Milk Tea or Mango Smoothie with EXTRA Boba is her fav! Also the customer service is wonderful, we are always greeted with a "Hello, Welcome" It's nice to support local and know you are appreciated. read more

Came by this place with some friends to try their Bingsu. We normally go to this other popular Korean Bingsu place called SulBing and Cafe Tori was just as good if not better. There's nothing like silky smooth shaved ice with some yummy toppings on a hot day. We ordered mango bingsu and pot bingsu. Everything was so so delicious. And the owners were super friendly. Went into Cafe Tori for some refreshing shaved ice. Place is small yet calm and clean. Always friendly staff to serve you. I love the mango topping fruit. As you bite into it the shaved ice melts creamy into your mouth. It's so delicious! You got to try it for yourself to be able to know what I'm talking about. There are various drinks I've haven't tried but seems like all of them taste good. They have fruit tea, slush, and cheese cake desserts. Drinks are so unique and special that it's taste homie I'm back in Asia. Don't forget to try their mochi ice cream. You're on for some treat! read more

I ordered a Thai tea boba and matcha tiramisu and both were fabulous! I am a bit picky with my boba (it needs to have the right texture and sweetness) and tea needs to have the right bite/ tannins without being watered down. Café tori might be the best boba I've tasted in Bakersfield yet. I look forward to trying more. read more

I ordered the coconut milk tea with crystal boba and I really enjoyed it 9/10. My girlfriend ordered the Thai tea and found the boba to be a little tough as well as the tea to be less sweet than preferred 6.5/10. The space is small but has great energy and looks nice. The service was great as well. Only complaints are wait time and the Thai tea. It seems like they're working hard and may need another on shift. read more

Love this place! Tried it after finding it on Yelp! My fiancé and I shared a mango lemonade, coffee ice cream macaron, mango cheesecake and matcha Mont Blanc. (We just wanted to try different things on the menu) -Mango lemonade 10/10. SO GOOD! -Mango cheesecake 10/10. Super creamy, less mango taste. - Macaron coffee ice cream 11/10. When you fist walk into this cafe it is super cute. It was decorated for the holidays so nicely without being overdone. We came here on a Saturday morning and they were pretty busy. The order taker was soft spoken but friendly. There seemed to be a birthday get together going. Regardless of the people there for the get together and the other customers our order came out pretty quick. The lady who gave us our order was super sweet. The items we ordered were all perfect. The matcha dalgona was so tasty, a perfect mix with the earthy ness of the matcha and sweetness of the strawberry popping boba. And the matcha dalgona with coffee and coffee jelly was also super tasty. The drinks were not overly sweet which made them a delight to drink. And the pastries were hot and fresh. The boong o pang was crunchy on the outside but soft and chewy in the middle. The red bean was actual red bean and not just a paste. Will definitely come back for the red bean bingsu. read more

This is one of our favorite places to grab a drink! The staff and the core are awesome. The drinks are Great and we come here at least 3 to 4 times a week. I ordered the green tea milk tea with boba and it was pretty good. The drink itself was okay but the boba was slightly disappointing, it didn't have any flavor to it. My low review is due to the waiting time because I don't think that it was worth waiting for the drink. I waited about 25 minutes and there was only one person in front of me that ordered 2 items. read more

I mean, besides the size of the place (which i know is out of their control), the food and drinks here are substantially good. The Green Mango tea is a perfect blend with a little honey in it and mint. The nutella fish shaped pastries are perfectly crispy and soft on the inside without the nutella taking too much flavor from the sweet batter inside. Cafe tori is pretty yum. It does get pretty busy and take a while at times though. But it's worth it!! It's smoothies, my favorite is the taro, always are a good thickness and full of flavor. They're also generous with the boba! The macaroons are good too (: They're kept super cold and just hit the spot on a hot day. I'd recommend the coffee one! The aesthetic is simple, it seems so clean and kept together. One of my favorite places to go for little treats. read more
