What a great addition to the Curtis park neighborhood! The coffee was delish and very rich but not overly sweet. We've tried about 70% of the pastries so far and they are all tasty. We haven't had one bad thing here! Everyone is very friendly. Can't wait to continue eating our way through the menu!

New favorite pastry shop in Denver. We discovered them at the farmers markets and were ecstatic to see they opened a brick and mortar. It's not a huge space, but I am excited to see what kind of patio seating they have in the summer. They only have a few pastries on the menu but all are good, especially the guava and cheese one. It is the perfect blend of sweet and savory. Their coffee is also top notch! It was so good we went back two days in a row.

Coffee and savory treats are a delight! The cozy cafe is nestled in a neighborhood with outside seating.

As a Florida native, I don't order too much Latin food out here. It's not necessarily something I crave anymore. Admittedly, it's tougher to find legit Latin flavors. Well, I was thoroughly impressed with what I tried here! Roasted Pork "Lechon" ($18) // slow roasted berkshire pork shoulder, garlic mojo, pickled onion. This was the most filling bowl of food I've consumed in recent memory. The lechon was tender and flavorful, two ginormous pieces of unctuous, pull apart meat. The tostones were crispy and delicious. Pickled onions balanced the dish, though I was curious with the choice of using rings as opposed to smaller, julienne slices. Rice was yummy, beans just needed some seasoning. Hearty and comforting food right here! It was all so good that I had to stop by the stall later and tell the chef how much I enjoyed it. A little gem right here in Miami...wait...I mean Arvada!!!

That alone convinced us we had to try the Cubano in their bread. It was amazing. Flavors were perfect and the bread put it over the top. We have to go back for more, even though it's a bit of a drive, it'll be more than worth it.

Additionally, our server, Ryan C. went above and beyond and sat down with us to accomodate dietary restrictions for my brother in law and was very thorough with what he could offer for alternative food options. His quality of service was exceptional and was greatly appreciated. Sitting on the patio was a vibe as well and is an excellent place to grab drinks. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great spot in Five Points.

After reading other reviews and checking out photos beforehand, I knew the Colorado lamb was a must-order. It's not something I usually go for, but it ended up being my favorite dish of the night. Absolutely worth the hype. We also ordered the birria short rib and hickory smoked picanha, and both were solid choices. The shrimp and corn grits were amazing, and I really loved the aged cheddar mac and cheese. Other dishes like the chickpea croquettes and the chili relleno were also pretty good and rounded out the meal nicely. The wait staff was fantastic. Super friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. The restaurant itself has a cool, lively vibe. The only minor downside was that the outdoor heaters were a bit too hot, but that's a very small nitpick. Overall, an easy 5 out of 5 stars. Great food, great service, and a place I'd happily come back to.

The biggest standout was the papaya salad, which we wouldn't normally order, but glad we got to try it this time. The ceviche, pork wings, and ropa vieja were excellent as well. I definitely plan to keep an eye on where Chef Victor goes next, because his food is to die for. Love their decor as always, with its sense of whimsy mixed with the upscale. The food came out a little fast in the beginning (we prefer to take our time) and we definitely missed any guidance about how the flag was supposed to be used, so that would be the only thing I'd change about the evening. Everything was delicious, and my favorites were the ceviche with house made chips, patatas bravas, and pork wings. Everyone loved their drinks--spicy margarita, red sangria, and a Paloma. We shared two desserts--the Media Luna de Limon for our friend who is gf and df, and the rest of us shared the brownie with coffee ice cream which was incredible--warm and just the right size if you want just 1-2 bites (between three of us) of something sweet.
