If you want greasy food post a hang over this would hit the spot. Definitely too much cheese on the pizzas but am sure it would be delicious to a completely drunk me at 4 am from a decade ago. The food is palatable, like they use fresh, healthy ingredients, just not in the right proportions for it to end up being healthy Italian food. I've driven by this place at least hundreds of times but never stopped in, so I finally decided to give it a try! Really cute decor with vintage motorbikes on the inside and spacious booth tables. Everyone in my party of 3 ordered the shrimp scampi so I can only comment on that, but the portion sizes were good and the pasta was delicious! Drove here for my 64th birthday. Our server was very nice and the food was great. Two complaints: 1). Even for not being very busy, food longer than normal to arrive. 2). The server was going to bring me some tiramisu when my husband told her it was my birthday. More of a 3.5, but definitely not worth a 4. I've been here a couple times in the past and every time I've dined here I've never been impressed. The service for this visit was pretty good, but the workers kind of seem like their in the back sitting on their phone. The service for the food was super efficient and the price was very good. The meals we ordered were small portions but I've had many bigger portions here. The inside wasn't to busy, and has a super nice Italian biker theme to it. But the workers also just seem meh, and the food it pretty meh. One complaint I have is all the food is very plain, all lacking flavor and seasonings. But overall there's nothing wrong with the place and food in particular but for an Italian place I wouldn't exactly recommend. read more

Plenty of parking spaces around easy to get to, right off 405 near Totem Lake. We got the Chicken Scampi, Salcito, and the Dungeness Scallopini ($27) and they were all really good! The portions were generous too, we had 2 small takeout boxes at the end. Unfortunately, the leftovers aren't as good after being reheated :( Service in general was okay. I ordered the pasta that was recommended as the most popular and it was a generous portion but very greasy. As a positive, I don't think they make places like this anymore so if you're into the type of local Italian restaurant you can bring the kids to back in the day when they didn't skimp on oil, salt, sugar, gluten, dairy, then this is my place. My dad and I needed a comforting bite as we've been stuck at Evergreen up the hill. It was exactly what we needed. Homey vibes walking in and we were sat quickly. Ordered a couple glasses of wine and shared a salad that came out very promptly. We had classics, spaghetti and meatballs and bolognese that hit the spot. This is one of my favorite Italian places! the food is great, service has always been great, and I appreciate that they actually have parking here. I always get the shrimp fettuccini. There are great portion sizes and the shrimp has always been perfectly cooked. They also have a great selection of wine, phenomenal limoncello, and good mixed drinks as well. Came here because I got a gift card to this restaurant. While there is limited parking immediately in front of the restaurant, it's right across from Whole Foods and the rest of the new Totem Lake mall, and there's a TON of parking. The server was incredibly friendly! Checked ID for covid, told me generally recommended the pastas over the pizza, seated me next to the fire and fixed the wobble on my table. I ordered the (homemade) limoncello martini, a meatball (yes a singular meatball), and the dungeoness scallopini pasta, an Alfredo seafood pasta. Admittedly a bit on the more expensive side, but what the heck. The limoncello martini was delicious! Bright fresh lemon with the nicest foam on top. They provided bread, which had a nice lightly salted herb butter. The meatball was also incredibly tasty, with the slightest spice at the end. The pasta was full of seafood, and I certainly felt like it was worth it for the quantity. One of my scallops had a little sandy, but the rest were excellent. The pasta itself tasted to be a great texture, and the cream was thinner than I expected it (but I liked it!). The people behind me ordered a dish and swapped out the sauces, which was done with no problem, so don't be afraid to ask! All in all definitely a very tasty place! The regular menu is filled with pastas, pizzas and authentic Italian food, all of which is very rich yet very tasty. On weekends I recommend reservations since they get packed quickly. I can see why this is a local favorite. Got reservations for Valentine's Day, so the restaurant was booked and busy but we were seated at the time without a problem. The cocktails we ordered tasted amazing, bar service is well done. We were served bread and butter to start which was quite nice, and the caprese we ordered was good, we could taste the freshness of the ingredients. The pastas we ordered were also quite nice. I had the gino and my partner had the alfredo, it seemed though the sauce is ladled on top of cooked pasta rather than pasta being cooked in the sauce, but all still enjoyable. The restaurant is fun and friendly and a great place to bring friends and family. A staple in Totem Lake and I hope it stays for years to come. read more

Pretty average. Nothing special about this Italian Restaurant. Besides the eclectic biker decor and the string light lit exterior, the food was nothing but standard. Cafe Veloce was relatively easy to get to, as it was located across from the Totem Lake Plaza and right next to O'Reilly's Auto Parts store. My only critique is that the parking is not spacious at all. After a long day, I decided to take my friends out for some Italian food. We were in the Kirkland/Totem Lake area so we decided to look around for places to eat and discovered Cafe Veloce. Upon entering this establishment, we were greeted by wait staff and were promptly seated. They proceeded to hand us disposable paper menus for covid precautions. Thankfully, our waiter was energetic, friendly, and quick! My friends ordered the lasagna and chicken parmesan while I went with the Primavera which was a pesto vegetable medley paired with spiral pasta. We were each given a petite plate of 4 slices of cold bread and a side of garlic butter. To our surprise, the food came out relatively quickly! The atmosphere of the restaurant was lively and cheerful, however the food was average. I enjoyed the primavera pasta however my friend felt that the lasagna was over priced and very mediocre at a price of $16. Ultimately, if you're craving a sit-down Italian restaurant, I would recommend giving this place a try at least once. read more

Stopped in for lunch with coworkers and we all had a pretty bad experience. Our waitress was very cold and unfriendly, and the service was very slow. I ordered a margarita pizza, and it was not what I was expecting. I'm used to a pizza with fresh basil and tomatoes and buffalo mozzarella. The pie I was served had no sauce, it was covered in parmesan cheese and what looked like those little canned tomato chunks, and crust was overdone and stale. I feel like it is hard to mess up pizza, but the overwhelming parmesan taste made this almost inedible.
