Wow. Went in there for the first time today and I'm very disappointed. This cafe smells of mildew and is very outdated. I ordered a strawberry banana smoothie and saw banana in the blender, but then the barista/owner poured strawberry syrup into it. She charged me $7 for this by the way. I asked her if she could take out the syrup as I didn't want sugar in it and she was visibly pissed. She rolled her eyes and attempted to removed the syrup, still leaving some in the blender. Honestly, I'm not sure what else she put in it, but it sucked. I couldn't get over her attitude. No wonder nobody is in there. read more

Everything about this cafe is just wonderful. There are so many options for food, dessert, and drink. They serve breakfast all day, and the display is eclectic yet neat. Everything is homemade and the lady at the front counter is so courteous and lovely. I ordered a cappuccino, a panini, and a custard dessert. I couldn't help but bite in before taking the picture. The cappuccino had just the right amount of foam to my liking. The panini is seasoned to perfection. There is outdoor and indoor seating and is in a cute quiet little neighborhood. This is as genuine a ma and pa shop you'll ever visit and it's popular with Yelpers from various displays in the cafe. So this brought much to look forward too! I chose to get the pumpkin pie latte, along with a gyro panini sandwich. With this came my only disappointment in that my latte was lukewarm and too sweet. I did communicate that I did not desire to have my latte overly sweetened and perhaps there was a misunderstanding. But the miss on making the latte up to temperature was on the shop. Man do NOT sleep on this place. It was a bit tricky to find because it's literally surrounded by apartments. But it's fantastic! The owner makes the pastries and desserts in house, as well as all the food and they're amazing. She was very attentive to us, and helpful giving us plenty of suggestions. We had the cafe veneto panini, chicken panini, and the lasagna omelet. Finished it off with the German Black Forest chocolate cake, and man . Usually I'm more descriptive, but no words. What can I say?? Wow wow wow! I have been trying to visit this place for a long time. I finally connected with this establishment for the first time tonight. Needless to say, I am a new customer from here on out. I had already eaten dinner, so I just wanted to unwind, have some coffee and a desert. The Lady who waited on me does all of the baking. My boyfriend and I found this place online and it was worth the drive through traffic. Not only is the lady behind the counter the sweetest and nicest person, but the food was to die for. Salads are usually hit or miss for me, but her Greek Salad is amazing and with every bite I knew I wanted more. The Panini was also delicious and pairing each bite with some fritos was an explosion of flavor. Finally the Lemon Coconut waffle was my favorite, I'm pretty sure the waffle batter had lemon mixed into it so each bit is rich with lemony goodness. The whipped cream on top also was one of the best I've ever tasted and it blended well with the coconut and lemon for each bite. I really wanted to love this place. My husband and I were visiting the area and wanted to find a good bakery or pastry shop. i googled and found Cafe Veneto. Based on the numerous excellent reviews we were excited to try it. When I went in to see what they had there wasnt a big selection and no where were there any prices listed of the pastries. This should have been a red flag right there and I'm always embarrassed to ask what the price of everything is, my stupidity I know! I ended up asking for two cannolis and a small cheese bun to go. I was stunned when the bill came to something like 19.54! I say something like because she did not give me the receipt and again my stupidity for not asking. That's an outrageous amount for two cannolis and a very small cheese bun . The real disappointment came when we came home and took them out. The cannolis had very little filling at each end and we're completely empty in the middle! On top of that the cannoli shells were soft and soggy, an indication that they were not fresh and had been sitting there for awhile, they were inedible! The cannoli filling if you could call it that was very thin and lacked chocolate chips or any of the usual cannoli flavors.It didn't even have the taste or texture of ricotta which is the main ingredient in cannoli filling. It was mostly whipped cream with possibly some ricotta but no flavor! The cheese bun have a bit of feta sprinkled on top but lacked any real filling. The owner was pleasant enough but for those prices on inedible stale cannoli I wouldn't go back. The fact that she didn't give a receipt leaves me wondering what the price of each item was. read more

Adorable little hidden gem. They have a good assortment of food and drinks on their menu. I recommend the caramel latte it is amazing! I came here with my husband on a Saturday and even though it was busy the staff was really quick with our order. I also ordered the chicken avocado wrap. The sizes here are great for the price. Wasn't overly sweet. I didn't care for the whipped cream so I scraped it off. The fruits were fresh. The chocolate had a bitterness to it that curved any super sweetness the crepe had, which was a good combination. The menu was limited to other breakfast items.
