I was so excited during my trip to Washington because I just knew I was going to find some amazing restaurants to try. Café Wylde was one of the first places I got to smple due to the fact that I was staying in Everett. The restaurant is very open and welcoming. The high ceilings, white walls, and wooden tables reminded me of resturants along the beach. It felt like somewhere you would go after yoga! The server was a bit uncertain but nice enough. Upon recommendation I tried their (vegan!) Raspberry white chocolate mocha and I have been addicted to them ever since. I never would have thought about combining raspberry and coffee but somehow it works! I tried a few other things from Café Wylde while in the area as well. Their jackfruit tacos are pretty delicious but I think they would benefit from a big kick. I was expecting spicy and was sadly let down. Their pesto pasta was pretty tasty but I felt like the flavors were not quite worth the price. Their fig cheesecake was absolutely mind blowing and I wish I would have stopped in for another piece before I left! Noticed the WA State health grade was not posted in the front window. Walked in and observed the floor didn't appear to have been cleaned in months. Ordered chili. The beans were undercooked (crunchy) making it inedible. Also very salty. Not very nursery. Had to use the bathroom. Also, smelled moldy and hadn't been cleaned in some time. This was my first visit and I won't be back. The staff seemed to not care. It took an hour to get our food. I don't know what i got because it wasn't what I ordered. the lettuce was brown and wilted. Cafe Wylde is a vegan's dream. Seriously, every item is the menu is vegan and some of them are gluten-free! I expected a somewhat trendy healthy place like this would be located somewhere in Kirkland but it's tucked away on the corner of Hoyt in Everett. The staff here is so friendly and accommodating. Since today was the first time my friends and I have been here, we did take awhile to order but the staff were so nice and helpful! The pricing here is admittedly more on the expensive side, but hey, what would you expect from a trendy vegan spot? I was debating between the Bukhan Bowl and tacos, and I ultimately went with the bowl, which was SO yummy! The different texture in the bowl was interesting and the zesty dressing was delicious! For sure next time when I come back I'm going to have to try the tacos. I also got the Golden Chocolate smoothie, which was a dream since I love anything chocolate and coconut. Yum! So glad I got to try this place out! Vegan or not, I recommend this cafe to anyone. Ordered the pesto pasta and the bukhan bowl. First, I was debating between the bukhan taco or the bowl, will be coming back for the taco for sure. The staffs were friendly and my food came within 10-15minutes. Pesto pasta, was definitely a great idea. The mushrooms on top was my favorite part! Next time, Ill be asking for extra! The spinach was fresh and surprisingly the pesto pasta dish was served hot. I loved all the different crunchy texture that was on the bukhan bowl. Not to mention, the sauce was delicious. All the vegetables and the avocados were fresh. The atmosphere was so relaxing & warm, and the staff were sweet as can be. The lovely lady was also absolutely right when she told me they do magical things with jackfruit!! I ordered the burritos, tostada appetizer, and a glass of rose- totally parked it and read a book while I indulged. Absolute heaven. Then I had to order a chocolate chip cookie (amazing, especially considering it was also gluten-free, which I usually don't care for) and a strawberry-kiwi cheesecake to go. I love the fact that we have a vegan place in Everett! And typically this restaurant is not bad. However, with their recent shortage of employees, the food has definitely been less desirable. I had lunch there the other day and my salad was pretty much spinach, pinenuts and a few wilted strawberries. Hopefully the quality will improve with additional staff members. read more

Unpleasant experience with one of the staff. Made my drink without washing hands after handling dirty cups from other customers handing it to them instead of the other customer placing them in the dirty dishes bins as per protocol. I actually love the food at Cafe Wylde. Once, in the beginning of the pandemic, we picked up food that was awful and we threw it away. Every other time I've loved the food. Yesterday we picked up a snack and i was disappointed that the avocado skin had a sticker left on it proving that it was not organic and that it probably wasn't washed. You should not say your food is organic if it isn't. Plus you should wash all veggies and fruit, especially during a pandemic. read more

This place is delicious. I'm not vegan, but do try to eat less meat and dairy when I can. I've had a few things here, including their pesto zoodle salad, Bukhan tacos and the bowl, the chili, burrito, smoked avocado dip, raw cheesecake, cookies, and a couple of their smoothies, and wow, they've all been so good! I got the smoked avocado dip, BBQ sandwich with pulled jackfruit, and a tea. The service was sub-par. The server girl wasn't very attentive. The vibe I got was that she didn't care. My bill after tax and tip was almost $30 and the food wasn't even spectacular. The smoked avocado dip was literally an avocado scooped out, tossed with some kind of bread like filler and maybe grilled or seared for a smoke flavor, then served back in the half shell with store bought sesame crackers. That's $8...feels like I got jipped. The BBQ sandwich was better. I enjoyed the pulled jackfruit and sauce in the ciabatta. However the slaw it came with was very watery. $13 for this. Not sure how much the tea was, maybe $3-4 for a 16 ounce. It came in a tiny mug. I am certain it was more like 8 ounces. After bringing out my food, I didn't get any more interaction from the server. You pay at the counter before sitting down so I did the tipping there. If I can redo it, she would get the minimum 10% not 15%. Service was poor and food was meh. Since it is the only other vegan restaurant in Everett, I had high hopes. Obviously they were not met. Won't be back. read more

Cafe Wylde has lots to like and plenty to root for (whoops, subtle vegetable pun there). It's great to have this vegan cafe and juice spot...places like this and nearby spots like the Sno-Isle Co-op and Cafe Zippy are bringing a little bit of Olympia to downtown Everett. And Cafe Wylde is bringing a lot of jack fruit to downtown Everett as well...what is this thing called jack fruit?!? I dunno but I look forward to learning (and eating) more of it soon. My girlfriend and I stopped in for lunch during the recent artists' garage sale/ street fair thing, and we really enjoyed it. We each got an entree and a juice. The juices were 5 stars, the entrees were 4 stars, and the price was 3 stars (but, I kept reminding myself, I got more than I paid for given the quality of the ingredients and the health and well-being that veganism conveys both to me and to the Earth). I can't say enough about the juices...I got the Sun Juice and GF got the black lemonade, and both were glorious. Juiced right there behind the counter with fruit at the peak of ripeness, and they were out of this world, as in, best glass of juice I've ever had. And believe you me, I've had my share of glasses of juices. Wherever I go, people say, "That Chris H., he sure loves a glass of juice." The Sun Juice was apple, pineapple, pear, and orange juices mixed with coconut milk, and it was just a symphony of flavor. For entrees, I got the pasta and pesto and GF got the habanero jack fruit tacos. Both were tasty and filling and fresh. The "pasta" was noodles made of zucchini and kelp, topped with vegan pesto and some grilled mushrooms. I thought it was a shade bland, probably because they didn't add the normal amount of salt and oil that restaurants typically pour into their food...so, I guess they could liven it up with some spices or herbs, and/or I could wean myself off of salt a bit and grow to appreciate the flavor of the ingredients a little more. GF's jack fruit tacos were delicious and spicy and a big happy mess of peach habanero sauce all over the place. I loved the flavor and texture of the jack fruit (I hadn't been sure what to expect, but it doesn't taste like fruit at all...much more like the taste and texture of, say, thinly sliced seitan). The food is delicious but the prices are quite high. When they first opened, the price point was more comfortable- smoothies were about $8 and the entrees ranged from $9-12. Not long after they opened, they raised all of the prices to a level that I'm unwilling to pay. It's really a shame, because it's a welcome respite in our community and the food is truly delicious. My favorite item is the pesto pasta, which is of course delicious. It's sea kelp and zucchini noodles with pesto, sun-dried tomatoes, avocado, lettuce and vegan scallops (which are marinated mushrooms). The few times I've purchased this I have eaten it in just one inhale and lots of embarrassing yummy noises. The jackfruit tacos are amazing- I wasn't familiar with jackfruit prior to eating here but it makes a meaty texture and tastes like meat with mango. It's hard to describe but I would eat it all the time if I could. The kava kava almond milk is really calming and seems to bring inner rightness. The green tea matcha is amazing if you love matcha and coconut milk. Just be sure to monitor the amount of honey they put in it. Near the beginning of them being open (for which I am forgiving) I saw the person making my drink put a LARGE heaping teaspoon full of honey in and it was undrinkable but I wasn't able to bring it back, so I threw it away. The immunity hot chocolate is like my ideal hot chocolate with raw cacao, coco cream and ashwaganda. It does contain honey but if you're vegan, you can ask them not to put any in. The nurturer is another blended drink with coconutty goodness and vanilla bean. I highly recommend it, if you an swallow the $10 cost. All in all, if you're comfortable with the prices- you won't regret it because it's delicious and we NEED more vegan options here. I'm a mostly-vegan but think that this place would please vegans and meat-eaters alike. I just really wish they hadn't raised their prices. I was willing to pay $12.50 for the pesto pasta but $15? The new Cafe Wylde in Everett! We drove all the way up from Seattle to try it.. SO WORTH IT. 100% vegan and organic, which we have plenty of vegan options.. but Seattle is definitely lacking in the organic area. We opted for the jackfruit burritos (YUM) and the Korean BBQ-style jackfruit tacos. Even the side salad with the burritos was to die for. Tortilla for the burrito was made of spelt instead of bleached white flour, which is great for any gluten-free-ers and for anyone on a HCLF/McDougall diet. I have been here three times now. There jackfruit burrito is very good but the real reason I have come back is there cheesecakes! They have the best cheesecake ever!! However there customer service is lacking. One of the servers rolled her eyes at us when we told her our order was to go when she brought our food out on a plate (we told the male server who took our order everything was to go) They also are not very friendly. Visited this restaurant with high hopes. Dishes looked really elaborate, but kinda pricey. Figured it'd still be worth a shot, but some things were outrageous ($10...for two tostadas? Thats corn tortillas and beans baby. $1 food cost). Wait was pretty long, but there were two people so figured we can overlook that. Presentation was really nice. Actual fine dining levels which warrants the stars. But taste wise, the food just disappointed. Peach Habanero Tacos: Corn tortillas were cold, hard, and had obviously been sitting out for awhile. Peaches were mush and no habanero flavor. Carnitas lacked seasoning. Could've been improved on nearly every level Chili: Nothing much to say here. Plate of beans that didn't really resemble a chili. Again, under seasoned. Had a good plating of avocado that improved the dish. Fava beans were undercooked and had some bite to them. Tostadas: I mean...two corn tortillas..with refried beans. Nothing fancy. Some cilantro to garnish. Insane margins. Cheesecake: Texture was super well done. Very velvety break, but the whole thing was just so over-sweetened it was unbearable. Crust was pretty tasty, but bite after bite of sweet 'cheesecake' made us tap out only halfway through. Recipe needs to be tweaked. Could really be a namesake dessert Juice was a hit though! And the staff was very nice and polite about everything. A good spot that could really just benefit from a few touch ups. Overall just needs a better menu pricing though. $6 for two small, STALE, tortillas with the saddest amount of refried beans. I was upset and amused at the same time. It takes like 2 seconds to toast a tortilla, Why not? It was honestly pathetic and I'm definitely not going there again. I was so excited to see what the chick pea sauce was going to taste like, but when I got it, there wasn't even enough to taste. Just because it's organic doesn't give them the right to make it taste horrible. This is EXACTLY why people think organic stuff is worse than non-organic. It was apparent that the staff didn't care about providing customer service, which is probably why the food was so bad. Delicious! Healthy options and great atmosphere are something I'm always looking for and you'll definitely find them at Cafe Wylde. My partner and I ordered the smoky avocado dip, and it delivers on its name! Served warm, still half in the peel, this avo dip is lightly smoky and served with gluten free sesame crackers. I got The Bowl, which is super tasty due to the combo of the tahini dressing and sesame slaw. The pièce de résistance was the cookies and cream cheese cake. It's a vegan cheesecake made from coconut meat & yogurt and, honestly, if I hadn't known better I would've thought this was regular cheesecake! Definitely recommend this place. read more
