Cute hole-in-the-wall Mexican restaurant. Decent service, huge drinks, good food. Our food came out within minutes! Very reasonably priced combo plates.

10/10 I have been coming here since i was a young kid. This restaurant has been apart of family favorites for 3 generations! From the amazing salsa to the wonderful service, you cant go wrong with breakfast, lunch or dinner! The BEANS are the best Ive ever had from any Mexican restaurant. Ive had just about everything on the menu and I could never get tired of it. The ambiance feels like grandmas kitchen, very homey, very comfortable. I always leave with food for the next day ! Such a hidden gem. Zamoras was an amazing cater for my parents funeral. My parents and I ate here at least 2-3 times a week. Zamoras staff became family!

If you want good food, great service and the absolute nicest, best servers and staff, this is your place. My wife loves menudo but not the meat, not really meat but that's what people call it when they don't want to say stomach. Lol She asks them for no meat and they go above and beyond to remove it for her and I mean all of it, no other restaurant takes the time to do this for her and trust me, when momma's happy, my life is good. My favorite is the #20 Machaca Dinner. It is so flavorful and they load up that plate. It's now our go to Mexican food restaurant for good food but more importantly the service is fabulous.

This place was found by a blogger on IG. They were correct, this place was delicious! From the start of walking in, you are greeted and given options of your own where to sit. They greet you promptly with chips and delicious salsa and request for your drinks. We asked for the pico, which the blogger suggested to ask for, and it did not disappoint. It was so tasteful, you could drink the juice. I ordered the steak picado with rice and beans. Oh man! The flavor was so full of love! The beans were the best! Rice was perfect consistency and flavor. My husband got a carnitas burrito, and they didn't shy on the meat. We received green salsa, oh man. So yummy. The place wasn't fancy, wasn't huge. I'll keep coming back, because the food was very delicious and oh the prices....perfectly priced.

#8 lunch special; enchilada, tostada, taco, rice and beans. It's huge!

Every time I eat here, I want to bump my review, as every Arizonan should try Cafe Zamora. It's open an airy, the booths are comfy, the service is always very friendly and the food is absolutely top notch. If you can finish your lunch special, you must have been really hungry! The salsa is fantastic, and I'm always amazed by the generous amount of meat in whatever you order. Grilled shrimp, asada, carnitas, Pollo, it's all expertly prepared. The salsa is some of the best I've ever tasted. Take a trip to Avondale. You'll be glad you did.

I stopped by on a Saturday night to finally check it out. As soon as I walked in, I noticed the trompo right away, which is always a good sign. I stepped up to the counter and was greeted with a warm smile from the young lady up front. After looking over the menu, I ordered two tacos de tripa and two tacos de suadero. She asked if I wanted the tripas extra crispy I said no. I also asked how they prepare the suadero since I didn't see a choricera, but she wasn't sure. When the food came out, the tripas were a letdown. The texture was off, almost like a stale chip, and they were clearly overcooked. I asked if I could swap them for something safer, so I went with asada instead, but that didn't impress either. It didn't taste very fresh. Now here's the reason you should come to Tacos Chilangos: the suadero. Even though it's not cooked the traditional way, it was absolutely delicious. Perfect meat-to-fat ratio, super flavorful, and easily the standout. The guacamole salsa was top tier. I kept going back to that one over the others. All in all definitely stop by to try the suadero as for as the other two I'd would probably give them a second try.

I would say inside is similar to a Filiberto's, but I don't really care as long as the food is good. I'm a big taco fan and the tacos here are just ok. If o had to compare, I would say taco boys, ta carbon and tacos calafia are well above this spot. Good visit though and really just stopped to try.

You order at the counter and the food comes out to the table. You can tell this place is family owned. The owners, whom I assumed were there tonight, were lovely people. While we waited, the woman who took our order brought out a basket of chips with refried beans and fresco queso on top with a side of salsa. Woah! What? Epic. But wait! A few minutes later, a precious girl with the most warm inviting, and beautiful smile came out with 2 warm, homemade corn tortillas, with salsa and cheese for us. These were just complimentary extras we didn't expect at all. Soo good. The restaurant is a humble place. Cute, clean, inviting and roomy. There is an inside seating area and an outdoor section. Someone was grilling meat out front. I think, the owner. I ordered a chili relleno combo. It comes with rice, beans, tortillas, and a drink. Hubs ordered two carne asada tacos, and a carne asada sope. I didn't try anything my husband ordered. ( I was laser focused on my meal lol) But it looked really good. He said, you can tell, they make their food with love. Yes, yes, yes, you can. My dish, was the best chili relleno I have had the entire 5 yrs I have been living in AZ. And the beans were phenomenal. Honestly, I prefer eating at places like this. We came for an impromptu date night. I can say it was one of the best meals and date nights I've had in a while. Thank you. Nobody, at least nobody alive, was on the premises, from my vantage point. Two buildings lay before me, both of which looked dark. Dusty railway cars on the track across the street. Is that where they would find my body, inside one of those, with the others? But, as I walked closer the scent of taco meat simmering, grilling and sizzling overtook my stupid fear. Tacos have never steered me wrong. Taco makers have always been some of my favorite people. Once that scent made me realize that I wasn't about to walk up on a crime scene and be the next victim, I happily opened the door. No customers but a young alive girl was behind the counter. Happy colors, neon, seriously the best salsa bar I have ever come across - they even had homemade, warm salsa macha on the side and everything else was cold and fresh because the condiments are covered in a literal steel trap to keep everything clean and sanitary. I had ordered my meal to go, and people started rolling up as I was leaving so I guess the party was about to start without me. Then I got my tacos home!! Exclamation point because they deserve it. I ordered two queso tacos that, of course, came with consumme. My eyes rolled back in my head when I took the first bite. The beef was juicy, flavorful, tender and the consumme complimented it beautifully. And when have ever been treated to so much cheese in a queso taco? Never. And the good, thick Mexican cheese, melted and abundant. Not some tasteless, cheap, inconsequential slop. My only regret? I live 10 miles away up a mountain and I couldn't run right back and order one more queso taco! I was literally starving for one more. So, I made some poverty nachos - cheap tortilla chips with cheddar melted on top in a microwave - and dipped them in the consumme. Well, actually I had another regret: I wasn't able to wash it all down with a Jamaica because they either ran out or didn't make it that today. I just know it would have been homemade and good.
