Unfortunately, the attitude expressed by your staff tonight I know all too well as a Chicagoan. I don't know if this place is hiring clowns, outside of WGN, but clearly they don't care about the customers they do have. I was patently waiting for my Chicago dog when I was asked to move three times by some jagoff. I wasn't bothering anyone, they ended up refunding me and kept the tip. Fuck that Amex is getting a charge back. All I had was attitude from the staff. I get it your servicing thousands of passengers but no need to get as nasty as the staff did in causing necessary drama, because "Latisha" wanted to move a crowd around. That's a management problem. Just another example of why O'Hare is a joke and clearly the staff at this location could be trained better. If they cant get a Chicago dog out in less than 60 seconds, clearly they dont have the adequate motivation or financial backing to help them be successful. Skip this place, go to F concourse. Ordering on the kiosk was super easy. I went with the buffalo chicken wrap and a fountain soda--around $20 total, which is expected for airport pricing, but honestly I wasn't mad about it at all. The wrap was way better than I expected from an airport spot: tons of chicken, flavorful, not too heavy, and it really hit the spot without making me feel sluggish before getting back on a flight. One would think that there would be a plethora of Hot Dog places in O'Hare, and while there are some, the reviews and overall ratings are mixed. What's surely lacking is an authentic Hot Dog cart in each terminal area. We wanted to go to Galileos, but while they were open, they were not serving hot dogs. The other options were in the other terminals and not convenient for us to get to. Fortunately, we briskly walked from B to C under the runway and through the walkways until we got to America's Dog and Burger. For those traveling to Chicago, you likely have heard of Chicago dogs. Well, America's Dog at O-Hare's Concourse C next to gate C17 lets you get a glimpse of the Chicago experience without even leaving the airport. And you know what? They were quick to make my food, I got a Chicago veggie dog and some fries with cheese. I really enjoyed this for airport food! The fries were so yummy and the veggie dog had lots of flavor, I love the sport peppers that come on it. I always enjoy a Chicago dog so it was nice to have one. Chicago dog did checkbox all of the ingredients that go into a Chicago dog, but it tasted very average; the hot dog in the bun in particular tasted cheap, grocery-store level. My sis didn't really enjoy the Italian beef sandwich; I took a bite and the meat was really bland. The fries were good though; reminded me of Five Guys with the crispiness though these ones were a bit under-salted. If you don't want to hit up the McDonald's that's within walking distance then I guess go here if you want food that's not pre-packaged. read more
