We visit this restaurant frequently and usually enjoy our experience, but today was extremely disappointing. The place was full of flies, to the point that we could not eat peacefully. Flies were constantly around our table and food, making the situation uncomfortable and honestly very unhygienic. We understand busy days happen, but cleanliness and pest control should always be a priority in a restaurant. Unfortunately, today's experience was unpleasant enough that we felt the need to mention it. read more

Caffe Milano is a lovely bistro in central Naples serving brunch, lunch, and dinner. Be aware, it doesn't open until 11 am. I had hoped to sit at one of their outdoor tables but unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate. Inside is also nice and the staff and servers were very friendly and attentive. The bread basket is warm and very yummy and the coffee very good. The menu wasn't hugely extensive. My husband got the breakfast sandwich which he said was okay and I got the challah French toast which was beautiful and delicious. Definitely worth a stop when in Naples! read more

We had a great night at the bar at Caffe Milano. Ordered a couple of drinks and appetizers - meatballs and the arancini, and both were fabulous! Service was wonderful. The ambiance is lovely. Live music (a saxophonist) was nice. The bartender, Bardhi, was so much fun! We would come back just because of him! Caffe Milano is lucky to have him. This was a great experience and worth the drive. From the drinks (Expresso Martini and old fashioned), to the last Lemoncello. The service Yaima was awesome. We were treated like royalty. Impressive seafood linguini, something I like to order when dining out. It was filled with fresh seafood and the sauce was light, not red sauce heavy. Glad we shared since it was a hefty portion. Caffe Milano is one of my favorite spots--I come here often because the food and atmosphere never disappoint. Their meatballs are incredible, the burrata over heirloom tomatoes with pesto is absolutely delicious, and the calamari is always phenomenal. I was very disappointed to see the eggplant Parmesan removed from the menu, as it was one of my go-to dishes--I really hope they consider bringing it back. You cannot leave without trying the tiramisu--it's a generous portion and absolutely decadent. Their happy hour is also spectacular, making it one of the best times to go. On my most recent visit, my drink tasted a little watered down, which isn't the norm (their mojitos are normally to die for!). Service was also a bit slow, though I was dining alone so that may have played a part. Overall, despite a couple hiccups this last time, I truly love this restaurant. The food, the vibe, and the consistency are what keep me coming back. read more

Came here on Sunday night for a happy hour meal. We didn't know it was happy hour but were pleasantly surprised. They have 50% off multiple items and they offer a full size dishes for 50% off and $5 drinks, which is very nice. We had charcuterie plate, salad, seafood risotto and bolognese, 3 drinks all under $75. That was truly the best meal we had in our life for $75. If you catch happy hour, you will be back in 2017 prices. Service was super friendly and attentive. They came to check on us multiple times. Ambience is nice as well. Very modern and spacious. Weirdly they only have one bathroom for each gender. I think they need more than one for each gender. Charcuterie plate was beautiful and tasty. Risotto with seafood was amazing. Unfortunately i often times disappointed in risotto but not this time., Great place! Definitely recommend. read more

4.5 stars. We dined at Caffe Milano with a party of 6 + our baby and had a great experience. Our servicer Vito was kind and attentive, food came out fast and we all enjoyed our dishes. It was more casual than most restaurants on 5th Ave which is nice for families & it was also the perfect noise level to bring our 4 month old son and not have to worry about him making too much noise. We ordered 2 pizzas (Margherita and pepperoni), Caesar salads and an array of pasta dishes. Everything was delicious & the pasta was authentic which we appreciated! Terribly watered down Sangria, Rigatoni carbonara was average at best, no bread offered, had to ask for cheese & red pepper flakes. This restaurant has some of the most delicious and authentic Italian food I've ever had. My husband brought me here for an early birthday dinner and I loved it. The service was wonderful. The restaurant is very pleasing to the eye - really pretty interior. The table they sat us at wasn't my favorite, it was so close to the host stand area, and also very close to the other 2-person table right next to us. The cramped feeling at our table was really my only complaint. The food itself was incredible, I had the seafood pasta. If we visit Naples again I wouldn't mind stopping through here, maybe for lunch/brunch next time to try out a different vibe. read more

I visited this restaurant for a friend's birthday dinner. Despite it being a very busy Friday night, the overall service was excellent. Our server was attentive throughout our visit. I enjoyed a glass of rosé, which complemented their outstanding bread service, including olives and high-quality olive oil. For an appetizer, we ordered calamari that included some zucchini, which was perfectly fried. My husband noted that the marinara sauce it was served with was exceptional. For my main course, I chose the rigatoni carbonara, which was very rich and creamy. Overall, both the service and the food were very satisfying. We used to come here every time we visited Naples, but this time we were very disappointed and the food didn't compare to what it used to be. Not sure if they changed chefs or what happened but we definitely won't be back. Food was way overpriced and pretty bland. $25 for a cheeseburger with no flavor no thanks, I'm okay to pay good money for excellent food but this wasn't it! The calamari were overcooked and dry, the arancini were literally fried plain rice balls atop of Alfredo sauce, no filling whatsoever, and the short rib pasta had some flavor and was the best one out of all the dishes we ordered. The staff was pretty rude and dismissive, we had a reservation and even with that the hostess gave us attitude, he was rude to us for being 10 minutes early.
