The interior of this place is so flowery and girly and aesthetic! But the boba and tea were pretty mid. Was worth a try for the experience, but probably not a spot I will return to

This place is like so much more aesthetic than it needs to be. Like it's beautiful in there. The drinks...were fine. My brother got the mango snow & it probably needed toppings, which is all extra. It was a busy Sunday & service was slow. I would say this place is mostly vibes.

    Ramly chicken burger

Pretty solid new boba addition to the 99 Ranch complex. Was able to try the Ramly burger, fries, creme brulee toast and a drink. The Ramly burger has fried chicken and was pretty flavorful with the chili sauce. I enjoyed this one a lot though especially with the thin egg around it. The fries that came with it were just okay and they give you seasoning to add but it was already really salty. The creme brulee toast was pretty good. Had a smooth and sweet taste though some bites were more on the buttery side. The white grape oolong milk tea seemed to be popular so I tried that. I thought it was decent and a little lacking in tea and white grape flavor. Plus there seemed like a lot of ice cubes and not a lot of actual drink. I didn't think it was worth it for that. Overall a pretty solid choice and would probably come back for more of their savory foods and desserts.

    Ube Latte - delicious!

Super cute new boba spot in place of Tiger Sugar. So sad Tiger Sugar didn't make it at this location but this place may have potential. Staff were really nice and prices were reasonable. They even have Texas size boba if you really love boba! I tried their Ube Latte and it's one of the better ones that I've tried around DFW. You can actually smell and taste the Ube flavor. Will definitely be back to try their other drinks and snacks.

I came across a post from the Dallas Chinese group regarding a newly opened tea establishment located next to my apartment. I decided to give it a try and ordered a variety of teas and fries. My favorite was the winter melon tea with grass jelly and pudding. Additionally, the fries, although simple in appearance, were enhanced by the seasoning. I eagerly anticipate the availability of their other appetizers. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Tracy, who is exceptionally nice and friendly. She remembered me on my second visit. Over the course of two weeks, I have visited the establishment six times, and it has become my preferred spot to relax and unwind. I intend to introduce more people to her establishment. Adding $1 more to get bigger size. Why not

Had to check this place out after I saw it everywhere on Instagram! Love the atmosphere and the girl who worked at check out was super nice and even went through the sizes of cups with me. It was my first time in and I don't exactly know when they had their grand opening but it was paaaaacked in there (at 8pm)! Looks like a great spot to get together with some friends. I only ordered boba this time around but they do offer some food/snacks as well. I got the Texas size Brown Sugar Pearl latte and it was pretty good so I'll definitely be back!

Went back to caffein this time with some friends. I got the earl grey milk tea this time and LOVED IT. It was very strong and had bold flavor. They also got a matcha crepe that came with bananas. The bananas were nice. Loved the matcha icecream inside. My only complaint was that the crepe was too thick in certain areas.

Cute coffee shop with desserts, wifi and late hours.. The Malaysian white coffee was yummy. The yuzu honey tea is super sweet even at 50/% sugar

I loved the decorations here. I came here to late night study and the decor was just stunning. The Vietnamese Ice coffee was alright, but the food was amazing. I loved the chicken and the toast was so unique and amazing, definitely recommend. The service was quick and kind. Overall, great late night spot to study! Lots of outlets to use as well.

    Taro Milk Tea

The place was beautifully decorated. Came here after seeing the reviews and was disappointed in the drink. I had a taro milk tea, but it tasted watery and powdery, very artificial. I also ordered 30% sugar, but it tasted like the full amount of sugar. I probably wouldn't be back unless they had non-artificial drinks that are not diluted with water.

So glad this place open! They have tons of snacks and teas. I came in for curry fish balls, flavorful and delicious. This is a Malaysian dish and i used to live in Malaysia. It was comforting for me. Nostalgic. I used to buy these from street vendors after school. The crème brûlée honey toasts was also delicious. The toast is crunchy. Curry chicken Malaysian with rice was so tender. I will be back! Highly recommend! I got thei fruit green tea with less than 50% sweet and it was perfect. I like more tea than sweet

Drinks here are absolutely great! To be honest, I saw they have some Malaysian options and I'm happy to support! Go to orders are Malaysian white coffee, pop corn chicken and mango green tea!

I always get a little envious of how every suburb of Dallas seems to have such a cool town square,…read moreand Plano is no different. Located among the shops and bars of historic downtown sits 1418 Coffee, a cute and genuinely great little shop that fits the area perfectly. Inside, the shop is fairly narrow but offers a good amount of both indoor and outdoor seating. I arrived with a friend a little before 11 am on a Sunday, and it was absolutely packed. A biking group was posted up outside, students were inside working on homework, even though most colleges have not started yet, and plenty of other patrons were taking their Sunday mornings easy. Despite having at least 10 to 15 people in front of us, the line moved pretty quickly. My friend who was more of a regular at the shop knew a lot of the staff and had convos with them. It feels like a little community! I ordered the Maple Sausage Croissant sourced from Sugar Loaf Bakery along with a hot Purple Haze latte made with lavender and vanilla syrup. My drink came out fairly quickly, and I thought it was great. It was well balanced and not overly sweet. As for the Maple Sausage Croissant, it was exactly what it sounded like, a maple sausage tucked into a croissant. I initially expected the croissant itself to be maple flavored, similar to a McGriddle, but it was still fresh and enjoyable. They had been keeping them warm in a heater throughout the morning, which definitely helped. I have stopped by 1418 Coffee a few times when visiting Dallas, and I plan to keep returning. They consistently do a great job and fit right into the charm of downtown Plano. RIYL: A warm haven in a beautiful downtown.

Hands down love 1418 Coffee even after only three visits! I'm working in Plano this month and…read moreneeded to find a good caffeine stop after my long commute from Fort Worth. The baristas are all super friendly and were happy to answer all my questions. It's also super cozy with dim lighting, and the music isn't super overpowering or loud. There's mostly comfy couches but also a few tables and high top seating. Just a little chilly, so I'd recommend bringing a jacket. I was able to comfortably complete some work on my laptop, with working wifi. There were also people here socializing in the morning. They no longer serve breakfast tacos, so I opted for a bacon cheddar scone at one visit and a lemon blueberry scone on another. They were both delicious! The baristas told me that their chai leans toward the sweeter side versus the spicier side, so I opted for an iced sugar-free vanilla latte, which was not overly sweet. I also tried the beez neez (latte with honey and cinammon) another time and enjoyed it! They offer 2% milk, which I don't always find at coffee shops. Since it's in downtown Plano, there's street parking, which wasn't difficult for me since I came at 8 AM. I believe there are parking garages located nearby. Overall, I've greatly enjoyed 1418 Coffee and will most definitely be visiting more throughout this month while I'm working in the area!
