    Iced latte

Read good reviews and stopped by for an iced coffee. I loved it. I had an iced caramel latte and it was delicious with lots of whip cream for me. The service was fast and helpful. The ambiance was nice and pleasant. When I return I'll definitely stop by again

This was our first stop upon landing in San Diego. It shared a courtyard with our hotel, and since our room wasn't ready yet, having coffees to wake up seemed like the perfect plan. We took turns going inside so one of us could stay with our luggage. I stopped in first and asked about one of their milkshake-esque beverages. The barista steered me toward a nitro cold brew instead, which I happy imbibed in. My boyfriend then walked in and came out with the same beverage I had been eyeing!!! No, we hadn't talked about it! I tried his and it was wonderful. He stopped back down every day of our trip, he loved their coffee so much.

After a stroll from the Wednesday farmer's market in Little Italy, I had a craving for Italian as the establishments nearby caught my interest. I've worked in Little Italy in the past but have never tried Caffe Italia. I got their Italian sandwich, with the default bread being focaccia. Inside there were prosciutto, salami, ham, provolone, tomato, and house made balsamic vinaigrette. It had a good balance of deli meats, and the focaccia bread was thick to hold it all together. I thought it was tasty as well as their coffee, however my coffee wasn't filled up all the way. It is strong and their roast is bold! I liked it a lot, although a lunch meal can get costly so it would just be from time to time if I were to revisit. Not only that, but they also have a small selection of gelatos which look pretty authentic like Spumoni! Other desserts I saw were mousse, tiramisu, cannoli, cheesecake, carrot cake, and rugelach. The cafe is small and the service may take a bit if you are waiting for the food, but overall, I enjoyed my coffee and sandwich.

Sunday stroll in little Italy took me to Cafe Italia for a nice cafe latte and black ice tea. I enjoy the quick service and lovely courtyard.

How is it possible or make sense to run a busy cafe with one chef? And the front cashier is kinda rude about it. Why are they not crossed trained? We were hungry and didn't want to wait a 2 hour wait across the street and came to this cafe. Long and behold their chef is on break and not back for 30 mins. I understand people take breaks but why don't they have another kitchen help? How do you even run a business and a cafe that serves food with one chef? Hoping they make up with good drinks? Mehhhh, the Vietnamese coffee didn't taste right. Guess they should just stick with Italian coffee if they don't know how to make Vietnamese coffee.

I've been rating a lot of 5s lately but this place is my go-to coffee whenever I'm in little Italy. The Gelato and espresso drinks is why I always come back! The service is excellent as always! I see a lot of regulars sitting in the front chatting with friends. It's such a vibe, I love it. I probably do the same thing if I live near by. Come here for my morning coffee run and gelato treat to end the night. Great delicious espresso that keeps me coming back for more

Was excited to see rugelach in the case and had to grab one with my coffee. It was delicious. Coffee decent. Service good. Great place to relax for a few minutes and people watch

Sesame bagel with an iced Vietnamese coffee

Love this place! The bagel was really yummy and toasted perfectly! I love that they give you the cream cheese on the side so you can put as much as you want! The coffee was pretty good too! I didn't like that there was an upcharge to add a splash of oat milk, but I guess everything costs money these days! The staff were really friendly as well. All in all I would definitely come back!

Cute spot in Little Italy! Perfect for a quick coffee grab or a sit down and study meal. The hot chocolate was very spiced with flavors of nutmeg and cinnamon- very unlike regular hot chocolate so not what we expected but good! Sweet workers.

Cute little coffee joint on the corner in little Italy, conveniently located, great service, fast , good and has a public bathroom for customers if you're looking for the nearest bathroom on the street in little Italy. The outdoor space is pleasant and peaceful and is a nice getaway from the busy vibes of little Italy if you need a serene place to sit down and have a good coffee or a second. I grabbed a mocha and it was classic and consistent with what I expect for a good mocha.

I got an everything bagel and it was $4.95 and it didn't come with butter or anything bland

Quick little place by the little Italy sign. Quick service, an amazing avocado toast. Definitely like the cheese on the toast if you get the little Italy toast. Cappuccino cappuccino. People that go there seem like they're locals and they speak great Italian. Definitely worth going.

Caffè Italia offers great espresso based beverages and very good bites. The service is always friendly. They offer inside and outside seating.

You ring the doorbell, wait patiently, and once you're inside, you realize this isn't your typical coffee shop. It's a place to slow down, enjoy the music, and savor your drink. Monique and Danica were both amazing. They're warm, welcoming, and you can really see the passion behind what they do. Danica is also the DJ, and her eclectic playlist made the whole experience even better. One of my favorite parts was just sitting there watching our drinks being made. You can see the care and craft that goes into every cup...even the Kuramoto ice is beautiful. The Matcha Americano completely changed my perception of matcha. The Kyoto cold brew pour-over was fascinating to watch and incredibly smooth. We loved it so much that we came back the very next day. This time I had the Midori, and my brother-in-law loved the Highball, especially the yuzu. No laptops. Trust the DJ. Drinks are meant to be enjoyed fresh, so take your time. If you're looking for a quick coffee run, this isn't it. But if you appreciate great coffee, good music, and people who are passionate about their craft, Long Play Hi-Fi is absolutely worth the visit.

He suggested getting 100% but said that I could try 75% and then see if I liked it. It was SO SAFFRONY and full of spice, with a bitter aftertaste, I really wish I liked it. It was so unique because the drink doesn't rely on sugar to give it taste, unlike so many drink places in SD. The flavor wasn't up my alley, so he replaced my drink with an iced Signature Karak Chai (which he'd given me a sample before). :) And before he left his shift, he even asked me if I wanted any adjustments to my chai! I appreciated that especially as a non-coffee drinker. 11/10 service. I also ordered the Ras Malai Milk Cake. Keep in mind I really don't like tres leches so I had really low expectations for the soaked cake lol. It was actually really good! The cream wasn't super sweet, and it was topped with sliced nuts. The soaked milk in the cake actually paired well with the cake. There's both outside and inside seating, a few outlets next to the booths, and plenty of parking in the plaza. I'll def be back!

My matcha was good and I really liked how creamy it was without feeling too heavy. The matcha itself was a little boring and didn't have a ton of flavor, but the Biscoff was light and not overly sweet, which I appreciated.
