Wonderful service at this coffee shop. The barista helped us and went through a little of the menu with us. Relatively traditional brew options, which I love instead of all the add-ins/customized drinks that are everywhere. Ordered 2 cortados with oat milk. The espresso has very good flavor and the oat milk made it rich. Would be a good place to work or study.

Ideal for a laid-back and relaxing coffee date. Service is Ok. I came here for an affogato apparently they no longer serve it.

WHEN: Fri @1:30pm Wanted somewhere to work for a bit and this spot has all the basic necessities: seatings, outlets, beverages, pastries, and some savory foods. No wifi but they open late everyday (6pm). They even serve affogato! But all I had was: COLD BREW - $5.25 Served in a tall glass and comes with a cute little chocolate piece! I'm no coffee person, I just needed to buy something since I was hanging out here. It's not a fancy or well decorated cafe, but it was a convenient spot that has seating available but indoors and outdoors. Not too shabby!

One of my favorite coffee shops. Good coffee friendly service. The logo is nice shows a touch of Italy. I remember speaking with Rafael many years back. This is his creation as I remember. Great place in the Pearl. Nice windows to watch the rain. Each coffee comes with a piece of chocolate. Nice treats in the case and some lunch items. Today a jewelry stand someone was selling their wares. I had an americano. Nice a bit nutty flavor, crisp and clean. I was given a number and they bring your order to your table. Nice touch. Nice attention to detail, presentation of your order. Good mix of clients working on their laptops or meeting with friends. A couple of doors so you will see people come from different sides which adds to the flow and decor. I brought my laptop...creating the review here this evening. Oh no a downpour outside and I parked a couple of blocks away. I will stay a bit longer and wait for a break in the rain.

I love this cafe I go to school right around the corner and it's most of the students go to cafe. I really like the staff they are always so friendly, patient and helpful. The cookies are amazing.

Stop by during a coffee crawl in Portland! Inside it's a really nice little spot to enjoy coffee, chat with friends or do work! I love how big and open the coffee bar was so you watch them make coffee! Everyone was super friendly and helpful! I got the honey oat latte and it was delicious! If you like coffee and for it to be sweet definitely try it! I really enjoyed how it wasn't overly sweet and overwhelming.

Great coffee shop for a quality brew! I love that they give you little chocolates with your drink. Just so you know, the espresso spritz was tasty, but just a bit too sweet for my taste.

Espresso and coffee makes the day for lots of peeps in The Pearl District. This is a bustling coffee shop to hang out inside or outside sidewallk table in the shade of trees. Cool vibe. I am really enjoying my cappuccino with a complementary chocolate. Also, serving up a spot of tea, cold drinks, yummy pastries and some sandwiches.

Caffe Umbria is the perfect spot to grab coffee and a bite when you're on the go. The food is good, and fresh and their coffee might hands down be my favorite in the Portland Area. I've always received good service when I've came in, and the location is very convenient. As someone who likes to people watch, I always opt to cozy up and sit outside. This is a cute little spot to check out if you're in the area!

Very nice coffee shop they will bring your coffee out to you. I had the cappuccino which was really smooth. No fancy latte art however very delicious. Just what I needed to get my morning started. Oh and as a plus you have a little chocolate on the side, just like the cherry on top.

Corner coffee shop in downtown. They have vegetarian breakfast sandwiches and ones available with meat! Lots of bakery items and standard drink menus! Very busy inside, very clean and almost every table was taken! I didn't wait long for my sandwich to be warmed up. The barista was nice and had et me know I could sit and they will bring my Togo order to me. Overall, great place for meetings or quick coffee and bite!

Lovely Cortado, cafe Umbria never disappoints. Haven't been to this location, might be my favorite.

I have mixed feelings about my visit this morning. There is so much to love about the vibe here,…read morebut the actual drink execution left me frustrated. The Pros: First off, the staff is incredibly sweet and friendly. They make you feel welcome the second you walk in. The modern, cool design of the space is top tier. It is exactly the kind of atmosphere you want when grabbing a coffee in Portland. I also love their progressive approach to dairy; they default to plant based milks and there is no upcharge for them, which is a huge win for accessibility and sustainability. The Cons: Unfortunately, the experience was completely undercut by the quality of the pour. The oat milk curdled almost immediately. I am well aware that Stumptown uses a more naturally acidic brew, which is a science experiment waiting to happen with plant milks, and I know it is technically safe to drink. However, the separation completely ruins the mouthfeel. Instead of a creamy, cohesive sip, I was left with a watery base and grainy floaties. It is disappointing to be told that this is normal when specialty cafes have the tools like barista grade buffers and temperature control to prevent this. While the ethics and the aesthetic are on point, a drink that looks and feels curdled just is not an acceptable standard to serve to customers. Summary: Great people, great space, great pricing, but the technical execution of the plant based drinks needs a serious overhaul.

We have traveled the world tasting every type of process from almost every region known to man. I always make it my mission to find the best cup of joe in town, so when I read about Push X Pull, I was hoping it was something we would remember. Luckily, we snagged a parking spot right in front of the shop. As we entered, the baristas were friendly and welcoming. We ordered a drip in a to-go cup and my partner couldn't stop talking about how great the cup of coffee was. We tried buying a bag of Galaxy Hops co-fermented beans, but unfortunately for us they sold out in both locations. Overall, highly recommend! It is the perfect spot to get some work done or simply hangout and talk. There is both indoor and outdoor seating which was nice.

The staff was engaging and attentive, the space industrial feeling and clean and the coffee top notch. Definitely on our must stop lost in Portland!

They are located outdoors within a repurposed trimet station, which add such a a unique Portland touch to their vibe. Although usually a 1-2 person operation, drinks always come out relatively quick! I tried the tiramisu latte and the black sesame latte. The tiramisu latte was easily my favorite. The cream top is rich and delicious, and when mixed into the coffee it really tastes like a classic tiramisu dessert. It's sweet, smooth, and feels like a treat without being overwhelming. The black sesame latte was also great, especially if you like nutty flavors. It has a natural sweetness with a deep roasted sesame taste that almost reminds me of peanut butter, making it both comforting and unique. I've also had their regular latte before and really appreciate the quality of their espresso. The coffee itself has a smooth, balanced flavor that stands out even without added syrups or toppings. It manages to be effortlessly cool without being intimidating, and the quality of the coffee is consistently top-tier. Here is why it's my favorite corner of the Pearl District: The Coffee Curation: What sets Barista apart is that they are a multi-roaster cafe. They feature a rotating selection of the best beans from across the country (and locally!). Whether you're drinking a pour-over or a traditional macchiato, the flavor profiles are always distinct and expertly pulled. Masterful Latte Art: The baristas here are true artists. Every drink looks like a masterpiece, but more importantly, the milk texture is always silky and perfectly steamed. The Aesthetic: The space is stunning. With its dark wood accents, industrial-chic lighting, and those massive windows looking out onto the cobblestone streets of the Pearl, it's the perfect spot to people-watch or get lost in a book.
