Came by for coffee the other morning and it was a quick and tasty experience. Caffe Vita is located in the Lower East Side with a few seats inside their coffee shop along with a couple stools for enjoying coffee outdoors. Ordered a small latte and it was phenomenal. Latte art was great, temperature of the beverage was perfect and the espresso was smooth. I loved how they have a 8 oz small option! They take credit cards and their staff is friendly!

Was in the neighborhood looking for coffee & found this little gem! We tried their seasonal miso caramel latte & the campfire mocha. Both drinks were delicious and flavorful. Overall, happy we found this place & would recommend it, especially if you like specialty drinks!

good hot coffee stays winning. stopped by Caffe Vita to grab an afternoon coffee to go. it's a small coffee shop--very clean and neat cozy interior. i don't think there are any inside seats bc space is limited but there are two standing ledges out for an al fresco java. the Americano i ordered was brewed hot, had that smoothed-out Expresso flavor, and gave me the caffeine kick i needed for the late afternoon push. service was friendly and chill. if you need some coffee on the Lower East Side, Caffe Vita has you covered.

Caffe Vita is a small cozy grab and go coffee spot located in LES with amazing coffee and good customer service. Although they do not have seating, they do offer a variety of teas and coffees. The coffee is strong, smooth, and so tasty that it's definitely one of my go-to spots when I am in the area. I really enjoyed their drip coffee. The only down side is that their cups always leak :(. The staff informed me that it was because their lids are not very secure but I hope they fix this issue soon!

Teeny sliver of a cafe with a simple but delicious drinks menu. Cozy, comforting environment. Ordered a hot oat latte & my sister an iced almond matcha. Both packed with a bright, refreshing flavor! This spot is definitely a grab n' go type of place. Was pleasantly surprised they had a bathroom in the back for customers!

I've been going to Caffe Vita for years but recently revisited again after I decided to kick the morning coffee habit. The coffee is still just as good as it always is - arguably the best coffee in the neighborhood? They used to have the roaster churning away in the back but I didn't see it on my last visit. It's not your typical coffee place where you can sit and read a book. It's more like a get your coffee, stop at the condiment bar, and if you have a minute, perch on one of the bar tables outside on the sidewalk. The inside and decor of the cafe is intentionally dark, and has a punk rock vibe to it. The folks working here have a take-it-or-leave-it attitude. I took away one star because they were sort of snarky and sarcastic about the tip he was left on a one drink order. A bit of a bummer and unnecessary but the drip coffee, cold brew, and the espresso drinks are all really top notch.

A good place to quickly grab coffee in LES. The barista was fairly quick and the coffee was very smooth, but my latte was lukewarm hence why I gave them four out of five stars. There is no place inside to sit or stand so this is just a place to get coffee to go. Even though my coffee was not hot it was still good so I will give them another chance.

Finally had the chance to grab coffee from @caffevita! I usually sit down and chat at cafés so I never got to go there even though I've been wanting to for months! The cold brew was really smooth and not too strong. Will try other coffee or espresso next time to make a better review!

Stopped by this caffe for a quick drink to go, and I would definitely recommend this place! Although there isn't any seating inside, their coffee is definitely rich in flavor. I grabbed my usual go-to, a hot latte, which had an amazing balance between the milk to espresso ratio. I wasn't paying attention when I ordered so I didn't realize they had three different sizes. I ended up being a little taken back at the size of the small but it was enough for what I need plus bonus points for making a smaller latte the correct proportion still! Great place for a quick coffee drink before you head to the nearby train station.

This cafe has a super alt-rock aesthetic. The interior is dark and the walls are black, and all around it feels almost more like a bar than a coffee shop. But the coffee it serves is nonetheless delicious. I got the cardamom rose latte, and sometimes places will do the floral flavor a bit too much and the whole thing tastes sickly; but the cardamom rose syrup in this latte was just right: enough for it to taste just a bit like I'm in a garden but not enough for me to want to run home with pollen in my eyes. I will probably be back very often because I'm addicted to coffee and this place is conveniently located right next to the Delancey St F station.

My go to espresso stop on this brief trip. Why? The crema on the espresso and the final product are simply first rate. One of the better espressos I've had in awhile. I'd say their machine is totally dialed in correctly and the barista totally knows what they're doing. Something not all places in the hood can claim. The black house coffee following the espresso is also first-rate. Better yet, people coming in the door are greeted by their first names which tells me they also get service above and beyond the norm. Worth seeking out if you're in the area and need the jolt. I'll be seeing them the next two mornings before I strike out for the midwest.

Had two green/jasmine teas. Steaming hot, served with a smile by the friendly, hard-working barista. Priced fairly. Chill ambient setting.

The matcha flavor came through nicely, while the green tangerine added a bright, citrusy flavor that made the drink incredibly refreshing. It was lightly sweet with a little fizz, and the dried citrus garnish was a nice touch. The customer service was also great. I had a few questions about the drinks, and they were enthusiastically answered, which I really appreciated. I'm always happy when a coffee shop has interesting options for us non-coffee drinkers, and this one definitely delivered. I'll be back and would absolutely order the Green Tangerine Matcha Ade again.

So I went in for the Green Tangerine Matcha Ade, which is the drink they should be talking about more. The green tangerine is the Jeju cheonggyul thing, the unripe fruit picked before it sweetens, so you get a sharper, almost yuzu-adjacent bitterness instead of orange juice sweetness. That's the right call against matcha. Grassy tea, tart citrus, light sugar, actual carbonation that hadn't gone flat by the time I got to the bottom. The matcha stayed suspended too, which is harder than it sounds in soda water. Dried citrus wheel on top is a real garnish, not a sad afterthought. Staff were genuinely into it. I asked what grade of matcha they use and how it's built, and got straight answers with zero eye-rolling. Rare at a counter-service spot at 1410 Broadway, where most places are just moving the garment district lunch crowd through. It's eight bucks for a fizzy tea. That's steep, and the room is basically a lobby cafe with very little seating, so this is a grab-and-walk-to-Bryant-Park situation, not a linger. Still, if you're a tea person stuck in a coffee city, this is one of the better cold matcha drinks in Midtown right now. Better balanced than Kijitora's peach fizz, which leans sweet. Order it, skip the seating, don't expect quiet.

I probably never leave reviews in general, especially negative ones, but this experience was so…read moreegregious that I honestly felt like I had to say something. I've worked in restaurants and bars long enough to understand that staff drinking happens, but this was on another level entirely. I came in with a group of friends and one of the bartenders, Will, was so visibly drunk that it made the entire experience uncomfortable. Slurred speech, wobbling behind the bar, taking orders while chewing food with his mouth open -- it was honestly embarrassing to watch. He looked like he absolutely did not want to be there. At one point, my group had been trying to get his attention for another round for quite a while while he stood around talking with coworkers. We then watched staff take a shot together, and when he finally came over he burped mid-conversation and literally had whatever he had just been drinking dribbling down his neckbeard. That was the moment where the whole thing went from unprofessional to just gross. What made it worse was that it didn't seem isolated to one employee. Throughout the night we watched staff openly taking shots and drinking behind the bar like it was a house party instead of a business. There's a difference between bar culture and complete lack of professionalism, and this crossed that line hard. One of the friends I was with actually frequents the DUMBO location and said that the last time she was there, the same bartender also seemed intoxicated, which makes this feel less like a bad night and more like an ongoing issue. The DUMBO location itself is in an amazing spot, which makes it even more disappointing. But ownership seriously needs to get control of what's going on there before someone gets hurt or the place develops a reputation for having drunk staff on the clock. Unfortunately, the experience was uncomfortable enough that my girlfriends and I won't be coming back. I genuinely hope the employee mentioned gets help if this is a regular thing, because nobody should be working service in that condition.
