[[HIGHLIGHT]]This Korean-inspired cafe is the perfect place for WFH or catching up with friends.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's plenty of tables for you to either sit at alone or with a friend (there aren't really tables for big groups).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's also outlets at nearly every table, free wi-fi, and a restroom for customers.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service is pretty quick. While they are known for their einspanners, I wanted to try two of their unique drinks: their Jeju green tangerine matcha and their purple sweet potato latte. Both were so good. The sweet potato latte wasn't too sweet and actually lighter than I thought. However, I did think the Jeju green tangerine matcha was so good and really stood out. Would have to recommend both nonetheless.
Love this coffee shop so much! They're always on top of flavor and beverage trends, but never in a way that feels gimmicky. It feels more like they're ahead of the game, have a pulse on things and aren't scared to explore interesting combinations. As someone who loves Einspanners, I was so intrigued by the Black Sesame Einspanner. But since I had my eye on the Matcha Einspanner, I'll have to come back for the black sesame one. Bottom line, the drinks slap - great quality and well made. I wish I had a Ten Thousand coffee near me because I'd quickly become a regular customer. Can't wait to return and see how their menu offerings will continue to evolve in the future!

First time I went I loved this place, second time I dont know it just wasn't as good! I came here a year prior to a different location and it was very very good. They also have baked goods available; I've heard good things in the past but haven't tried any myself. Quality seems to run a bit short in this location compared to my experience at other international locations. Preferred the Sydney blend over the New York City blend but that's just personal preference. Got a flat white and there was something unfortunately unpleasant about the drink, either the milk had gone bad or it was steamed too hot/long - it was scalding when I got it so it might have drawn out the bitter/sour notes of the milk Einspanner cream seems to be inconsistent across my visits but when it's good, it's good IYKYK
Ordered: Iced Matcha Einspanner (~$7) Espresso Cream Latte (~$7) with oat milk (+$0.75) Aya's take: Sometimes you find yourself back at a tried & true spot but this time for something new! Their Iced Matcha Einspanner looked incredible and I knew I had to have it. Based on the name, you might think it's matcha-based only but there actually is espresso in it and the cream top is matcha-based. Believe it or not, I liked it better than their classic Einspanner. It's creamy, sweet, and the boldness from the espresso and earthiness of the matcha came through as I drank. I also tried the Espresso Cream Latte and honestly, the espresso is not super noticeable. We added an espresso shot which made it a fantastic drink. Without it (and you can tell based on the color), it's more of a sweet, dessert drink. I really enjoyed it overall; worth a try if you're in the area!
Absolutely delicious! The Einspanner Latte tasted like tiramisu in a cup. Though, I thought my drink wasn't too strong--more on the creamier side, so I asked for an extra shot! The Dark Chocolate Latte is also amazing and incredibly rich if you want something non-caffeinated. The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating. I've had Ten Thousand Coffee on my to-go list for the LONGEST. I finally went for the first time and there were so many drinks I wanted to try so I ended up buying 3. 1. The Jeju Green Tangerine Matcha honestly just tastes like a tangerine selter drink but in the best way, because I don't typically enjoy seltzer or carbonated beverages. I really enjoy the flavor and the carbonation isn't too strong, probably because I brought it home to drink. I don't really taste the matcha but I would definitely still order this again. 2. Matcha Einspanner. This is my first time having an Einspanner so I have no idea what I was expecting but this is DELICIOUS. It's so silky and smooth and the TASTE is just right up my alley. The matcha is light but you can still taste it. Absolutely, would drink this all the time if I could. 3. Purple Sweet Potato Latte. This. This. Omg, why haven't I tried this sooner?! The first sip and initial taste, I almost tasted nothing, just milk. And then all of a sudden, there's an explosion of flavor in your mouth. As a sweet potato lover, I was in heaven. I have absolutely no words for this drink, just try it. 100/10 recommend. This is probably my favorite one out of the 3 that I bought. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I went around ... 2:45PM on a Friday and most of the seats were taken, if I remember correctly. There were a decent amount of seats and the space was decent. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The shop was nice and clean and it wasn't too busy when we stopped by.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered the tiramisu einspänner, which was exactly what it sounded like a generous dollop of tiramisu on top of an einspänner latte. While it was a fun and unique drink, I probably should have opted for something else. The topping was literally like actual tiramisu rather than just tiramisu flavoring, and it felt like there was more ice and tiramisu than latte. Personally, I would have preferred more of the tiramisu flavor without the full tiramisu texture mixed into the drink. That said, it was an interesting concept and I'm glad I tried it. I'd definitely be open to coming back and trying another latte on a future visit. read more

Overall: 4.5/5 [[HIGHLIGHT]]The store has a really aesthetic vibe, similar to % Arabica.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I came in on a Wednesday morning and luckily there was no line. I ordered an iced matcha einspanner ($6.95) with oat milk ($0.75) and loved that it already comes with a shot of espresso, so it was essentially a dirty matcha einspanner. I tried each layer on its own before mixing everything together and it was all really good. The matcha cream is the right amount of sweet and creamy and you can taste the matcha with just a hint of coffee. Since I'm a coffee fiend I added a bit more espresso when I got back to the hotel and it tasted even better while still keeping the matcha as the dominant flavor. Next time I would ask for less ice since it was freezing that morning, but on a warmer day the ice level would be perfect. Would love to come back to try their other drinks or order the einspanner again as a hot drink. read more

For those who don't know what an Einspanner is - here is the Google definition : An Einspänner (or Einspanner) is a classic Viennese coffee drink featuring strong espresso topped with a generous dollop of sweetened whipped cream. Despite already having a coffee/matcha elsewhere my wife and I needed to visit here. Located nearby our hotel and seeing their beautifully crafted drinks it was a must try. Also it is clear from the rave reviews from fellow Yelpers this place knows what they are doing. It is another place know for their Einspänner drinks. Which is a Vietnamese style drink made from espresso that is topped with whipped cream. My wife got their signature iced Einspänner and I got their ONYX Latte (cold brew infused with chicory and black cacao). That chicory gives it a little flare that made me think about New Orleans. Both our drinks were top notch and well crafted. I would order either one again! Besides drinks they also had some delicious looking food offerings on display as well. Staff were friendly and helpful explaining drinks. Super efficient as well and our drinks came out with a minimal wait. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ten Thousand Coffee is always filled with employees from the surrounding offices.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Despite a few that have their laptops open the turnover is quick.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] An Einspanner is a Viennese coffee drink with two shots of espresso and sweetened whipped cream dusted with cocoa powder. Now it's fine drinking it through a straw but I like to scoop up the cream with a spoon. Well, here there are only forks. I usually carry spoons but this time had to settle for a fork which was not easy. I told the barista about stocking spoons. read more

I heard a lot about the einspanner latte and decided to give it a try. I came in the middle of the day on Saturday and there wasn't a line. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The space inside is very bright and they have a few tables.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The drink itself comes out looking very aesthetic but it definitely needs to be mixed to enjoy it completely. The layer on top is delicious and mixes well with the coffee. It was a very sweet drink, so I'd treat it as a dessert more than coffee, but still really good! read more
Tried their onyx latte and matcha einspannar. The match einspannar is matcha foam top on latte base not a matcha latte base drink. It caught me off guard a bit but I thoroughly enjoyed this drink. nothing special. i ordered an iced vanilla latte with oat milk, but they made and served it hot. i didn't really feel like waiting for them to make another drink so i took the L on it. tasted very milky. i did get the spinach danish and that was pretty good. I love a good coffee shop with pastries! I cannot speak on consistency as I've only been here once, but the almond croissant was pretty good and I really enjoyed my coffee. The person taking my order was super nice and I really appreciate that they took the time to explain a few items on their menu I was curious about. This particular cafe reminds me of the chic, minimal aesthetic of ones I'd been to in Seoul. 이거 괜찮아요. Things you should know: I. SERVICE I asked for guidance with the menu and the unhelpful response I got was, "it's preference." That's it. As someone who works in service, that response would not & did not satisfy. II. QUALITY I'd say the name is of high quality: Ten Thousand Coffee. They say it takes 10,000 hours of repetition for something to be considered mastered. An iced Einspänner was a new concept I never tried but wanted to experience. Kudos to the company for trying different twists to original beverages but I can't say it's as enjoyable cold. The Einspänner is better hot with the contrasting, cold whipped cream on top! The Onyx is a good option to try as well. III. CAPACITY Slim seating is available. I highly recommend just ordering to-go. read more
got to Ten Thousand Coffee around 10 a.m. on a Saturday and was surprised to see no wait. The place is really cute with small tables that are perfect for a coffee date or pictures. The service was friendly, and I ordered the Strawberry Matcha Einspanner along with the Cream Cheese Cloud pastry. I am not a big matcha connoisseur, but I thought it was excellent. You can taste the matcha balanced with the sweetness of the strawberry and foam. It is on the sweeter side, but that is exactly how I like it. The Cream Cheese Cloud was the real showstopper. It was fluffy, not overly sweet, and just such a delightful treat. I would come back ten thousand times again. read more

Every time I visit the city, I always stop by here to grab a Matcha Einspanner. It hits the coffee craving so well, I could drink one every day. I can usually find seating and my drink is usually made pretty quickly. Just wanted to add onto my other review that I still love this spot! read more
I had this bookmarked as a place visit. Also, friends were insisting I have yo try them bc I love love coffee. Came here for a late breakfast. Castella Cloud Cake with Strawberries and Cream. Yessss! What a sugar rush I had. Soft and moist. Wish there were more strawberries But OMG, the Einspinner. It was love at first sight. When I saw it on the counter after the barista made it for another customer, I had to inquire. "It's like tiramisu coffee," she said. Say no more, SOLD! I savored every sip. The foams on top tasted just like the classic dessert. The coffee part reminded me of Vietnamese ice coffee. It was that bold but not bitter at all. Then I stirred it all together and it was pure bliss; I literally elevated into coffee Heaven. I loved to so much that I had to make the 5 blocks walk back the next morning before my flight. I also grabbed a few bags of NY Blend beans, the coffee used in my favorite drink to take home. I don't even own a coffee grind anymore. But will have to invest in one now. I ordered the Jeju Green Tangerine Ade, which was more of a matcha-ish type of a drink; this was just okay, with a hint of citrus. Staff are kind and efficient; they yell out your drink order(s) once it's done for a pickup at the counter. The space has limited seating, and you most likely will have to wait for a table, especially one that is close to an outlet. A single restroom is available, but you'll need a code to access; it definitely needs to be checked upon often, as it's not maintained well. +limited seating read more
Very aesthetic and clean location with limited seating inside but coffee was a bit pricy, too sweet, and pastries were disappointing. The cashier was not the nicest when taking our order and seemed impatient. Me and the bestie ordered: Einspanner with whole milk $6.95 (4/5) Hojicha latte with whole milk $6.95 (3/5) Tiramisu cloud castella $7.95 (0/5) Cinnamon Bun $5.95 (2/5) My Einspanner wasn't bad. It had a large dollop of creamy and sweet whipped cream with whole milk. Just a bit on the pricier side for the size. The Hojicha latte was on the sweeter side and not the best. Tiramisu Cloud Castella looked sooo delicious behind the glass display but was DISAPPOINTING for $8 D: I assumed it was going to be fresh and soft, but was actually frozen. The bread was a simple chocolate flavor but really dry, not moist or fluffy at all. My expectation was a CLOUD-like spongey cake but this was not it. The cream inside (although a lot of it) was basic frozen hardened whipped cream. I do not think it has the right to have a name with Tiramisu or Cloud in it. Easily in my top 10 coffees I've ever had! The einspanner is everything I like in my coffee - rich and strong, not too sweet, the cream top was perfect, and it was even visually stunning. The shop is really cute and just around the corner from Bryant Park. The staff is nice and all of our drinks were made quickly. I cannot wait to come back!! Came here on a Saturday around 12pm. It was busy, but no wait - just a steady stream of people. I never tried this place but always wanted to. I got a 'Dark Chocolate Latte' which has no coffee in it, but it was delicious! It was kind of like a high class hot chocolate. I could have had a few of these. My husband just got a regular brewed coffee which he enjoyed. I did not find the prices to be bad. They were Starbucks level or less. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was nice place, decent size. I love that this location is conveniently located in the financial district. They always made my order relatively quick. The purple sweet potato latte is not too sweet and you can get it iced or hot. I preferred it hot. I think it's a great drink if you're not a coffee drinker. There's no caffeine in it. The store is a little small and doesn't have tables or chairs. I also had great customer service for both of the times that I stopped by. read more
There is a saying out there that says it takes 10000 hours to achieve mastery in a complex skill and Ten Thousand Coffee did just that. I had this place bookmarked for two years and today was the day since we were in the area. Without fail my son has a knack for picking the right drinks every single time. Took a sip of his Onyx Latte and I wished I had ordered it for myself. It was FIRE and I'm not even a fan of cold brews. It is infused with black cacao and chicory. So refreshingly good on this 84 degree day. I got the Strawberry Matcha Einspanner. A little too sweet for me and I thought there was way too much of the signature cream. If you don't mind the cream then this drink is for you. Will definitely return because I want to try the Dark Chocolate Latte. Fun Fact: Ten Thousand Coffee originated from Sydney, Australia. While waiting for a table at a nearby restaurant, my friends and I came across this coffee shop and we're so glad we did! The drinks looked beautiful, and they tasted just as good as they looked. The coffee flavors were good and creative, and the shop had a great selection of adorable desserts (which we skipped this time to save room for dinner).
