Such an amazing spot! SO happy that they were able to open a storefront and that I was able to try their bagels. I love the fact that they are freshly made sourdough bagels with very unique flavors. We got one of each and I think my favorites were the mole, rosemary and salt, and the mexican everything bagels. A special mention to the cinnamon sugar, which is prepared right in front of you- guaranteed freshness! They were able to capture modern mexican flavors into their products and you can see how much thought and care went into curating their selection. The employees were also very knowledgeable about everything! You can tell that they enjoy what they do! Even down to the decor, the details makes everything come together to make this spot special.

Gf ordered on toast app. Easy online ordering night before so we can pick it up in the morning. Smell of fresh hand rolled bagels and chill vibes inside with an array of bagels to choose from. Cafe de ills was also on point I tried a sample of it. Bagels were so fresh and full of flavor. Coming back for sure!

Thoroughly enjoyed my bagels from here. Definitely on the pricier side however I was satisfied with ny purchase. Careful of doing curbside. I sat there for 20 min before deciding to just go get my food myself. Star of the show was definitely the blueberry however the pepita was a welcome surprise. Savory while simultaneously giving. Mexican cuisine vibes. A must for someone who's tired of normals flavors in regard to bagels. Cream cheese was reminiscent of whipped cream as far as texture.

While reading I saw that Metric in Chicago was on the list. And that was the sign this place had to be a must try! Came here on a Saturday morning. I walked a few miles from downtown to the neighborhood this place is in. It is in an industrial part town of area. Kind of reminds me of the west bank of the flats area or temont type of area we have in Cleveland. The shop itself is not very big. However the coffee, is absolutely incredible. While there I met Cara . She was so friendly and knowledgeable. I mentioned that the reason for making the walk to this place was to see how it measured with award of top 100 shop. From there I got my espresso. Amazing. Just amazing! Cara also took the time explain the cupping process. And how Metric gets their beans. The educational experience for a coffee nerd like myself was . And then getting a chance to do the cupping was icing on the cake!!! I'm very glad that I got to experience this gem of a shop. I truly understand why it's top . When in Chicago, for any coffee lover/nerd. Come here. I promise you will love it!!! https://theworlds100bestcoffeeshops.com/locales/metric/

They have the best morning bagels I have ever had! Sure, I could put cream cheese, onion, tomato and cucumber on one at home but it is NOT the same! I have tried! Whatever they do to make their bagels is so much better than the store bought ones I can find. Not to mention that I love their scones! I might sound like I have a food problem but I love their morning bagels with a blueberry scone for later and top it all off with a vanilla latte. The service is always pretty quick, the staff is very friendly and if you eat there they play pretty good music. There are only like 6 seats inside but they also have an outdoor area too for summer.

Service leaves something to be desired as we received a completely wrong item and we didn't find out until we traveled far away. Frustrating, but it did taste nice. Overall I do recommend stopping by and supporting this offshoot of the original Jumping Bean Cafe, but it's definitely not as good as the first location.

Every sip felt like a reward for simply existing. Also tried something called "False Spring," which has carrot juice in it (I know, I had questions too). But somehow it works! It's fresh, a little sweet, and makes you feel like you've made a good life decision--even if you're just ordering coffee in pajamas. Everything arrived perfectly and tasted like someone actually cared while making it. 10/10, would absolutely order again and pretend I'm a sophisticated person with a refined palate.

The vibe is cozy, eclectic, and with a slightly gothic feel that I absolutely love. There are plenty of large tables for studying, plus comfy booths with pillows if you want to settle in for a few hours. The lighting is on the darker side, which I appreciate, and everyone seems to be doing their own thing, making it a great place to focus or just hang out. I recently learned that on Friday evenings and weekends after 5 pm, the space transforms into Bar None. They have a cute patio and even a speakeasy-style space downstairs, which I can't wait to check out. I've only tried the cold brew, chai latte, and hummus platter so far. The chai latte was delicious, while the cold brew and hummus didn't quite wow me, but I'm definitely excited to come back and try more. Overall, it's such a cool spot, and the fact that it's only a 15-minute walk from my place makes it even better.
