Café Holt is a beautiful restaurant/café that serves lunch and brunch on weekends. I would recommend café Holt to people who like the atmosphere and vibe of Marcus (Four Seasons). It is beautifully decorated, instagram-friendly, chic, elegant and upscale; the service is great; drinks are good; the food is consistent -- however, mediocre at best, especially for the price point. It is conveniently located in the heart of downtown (on the 2nd floor of Holt Renfrew). I came here for a business lunch and would return for similar occasions but wouldn't go out of my way to return on the regular as the quality of food is most important to me when dining out and I believe you can get better food for the price point in this neighbourhood. They did however have great cocktails and espresso. I would recommend this place for a 5à7 right after work before heading to dinner elsewhere!

I ordered the Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict it was very good! The waiter was nice, service was a little slow. Drinks were pricey

Visited this cafe located in Holt Renfrew of downtown Montreal (Peel metro) on a Friday noon, they take réservation but it's not that busy. I find the cafe more like a restaurant, since most people are there to eat instead of drinking coffee. The lunch menu is simple and the most attractive choices are the salad and sandwich. I am usually not a burger person but I decided to try their burger with AAA beef, and I wasn't disappointed! My friend tried the pressé sandwich with chicken and cheese, and it was really nice too! We also shared a tiramisu at the end, but that one was not matching our expectation. The food was quite good in general and the service as well, the vibe and the decor quite cool and I would recommend this place!

What a little oasis in the city, loved my experience here!…read more I stumbled across this cafe while visiting and I could tell it looked like a popular local spot. There was a small line but the wait was short. I ordered a cappuccino and a BLT bagel sandwich. Both were really great. The cappuccino was one of the best ones I've had on my trip. The beans they picked were good, and the milk was steamed perfectly. The BLT bagel sandwich really caught me by surprise. I honestly wasn't expecting too much. They did such a good job balancing all the flavors and it didn't feel like a heavy sandwich like some BLT sandwiches can be. The general feel of the cafe is very cozy and comfortable. The window in the front let in amazing light, making the cafe such an inspirational spot (would be amazing to spend a day in there working). There were also plants everywhere and the greenery is such a nice touch. They even had fresh flowers on every table (so rare to find these days). The staff were super friendly. You ordered at the counter, get your number for the table, and the staff members would bring you your food. I was there in the morning and everyone had a smile on their face. The space seemed to uplift everyone's mood in there. I had such a great first time impression of this place and I will definitely be back the next time I'm in the area.
