Great brunch spot! Love the eggs benny and cocktails were wonderful. I had a Hibiscus Spritz and we kept ordering more. Truffle fries 10/10 as well. Service super warm and friendly as well as attentive. Vibes outside and inside are beautiful and lively. French patisserie vibes and lush greenery really makes this place stand out.

My order: cortado The Review: The positive first--Café Saint Germain is pretty cute inside and is conveniently located near Inman Square. The person who made my drink was really nice. The rest of the review--at over $6 for a cortado, plus tip, I was almost at $7 for one of the simplest espresso drinks. Absolute insanity, considering their specialty is not so much coffee, but rather food and pastries. They also didn't have any GF options in their pastry case. If I'm dying for a coffee, I'd stop here, but otherwise would rather visit one of the several other specialty roasters in the area!

This cozy French style spot was perfect for a girls dinner! Their unlimited French tapas deal was worth it at $42/pp. We tried sooo many tapas and ordered seconds of our faves. The mushroom croquettes were delicious!! They tasted like a vegetarian French version of mozzarella sticks. Also loved the salmon ceviche and poutine fries. Spent over 2 hours here yapping, drinking, & eating, was a lovely night!

I was up here visiting in Cambridge and came across this cafe! It feels like a French cafe in the style and ambience! The service was very quick and they have a fresh selection of baked goods and hot foods. We ordered a ham and cheese baguette and I got a mocha latte. It was so good!!

Casual French dining- bistro/cafe. Good selection of pastries - the almond croissant was decent, as was the cappucino, but nothing too earth-shattering. I got the Salad Nicoise - was pleasantly surprised that it came with sushi-grade seared tuna. The dressing was just okay though, I wanted to like it more. We sat outside on the sidewalk, service was a little spotty (server brought our food out but forgot utensils so after waiting a few minutes I ended up going to the counter to ask for them). But this is a really cute cafe, and I'd love to come back and try their other offerings.

I really enjoyed the food and vibes there! We went there for the unlimited french tapas and we got to try out most of the tapas (mostly delicious! really recommend the mushroom croquettes!) We ordered a bottle of wine and really enjoyed the food while chatting for about 2 hours! The service was good too. She made sure we needed everything :))

I visited Cafe St. Germaine in Somerville on Beacon Street and discovered it to be a wonderful addition to my neighborhood. They offer $1.00 Oysters from 4-6 p.m., and I hope this deal lasts a long time because they were very fresh. For my meal, I tried the delicious SOUPE A L'ONION GRATINÉE priced at $14, followed by the BŒUF BOURGUIGNON priced at $36, which consisted of Red Wine Braised Boneless Beef Short Ribs, Mashed Potatoes, Carrots & Pearl Onions. While the dish was nicely presented and tasty, I would recommend making the short ribs more tender and flavorful with extra sauce. On Mondays and Tuesdays, they offer all you can eat Tapas with a wide selection for $38.00. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit. Lastly, I would suggest adding bar seats with backs for added comfort.

The PRB Boulangerie remodeled and has opened as a lovely French bistro / cafe. The interior is attractive, with a bistro feel. And the menu features a lot of classic French dishes. We had the saumon fumee appetizer, and coq au vin and black truffle rigatoni as entrees. Everything tasted great--the chicken was flavorful, the rigatoni sauce was rich and had nice umami, without being too much. And we finished out the meal with their crème brulee. The service was attentive and friendly, with the meal served at a gentle pace that felt just right. (Beautiful plating as well!)

The menu they had listed for Dine Out Boston was NOT the menu they were actually offering. Very disappointing.

Dinner was nothing special, and we will not be returning. We do better at home, especially making classic French onion soup.

It was tasty, greasy (in a good way), and the spiced fries were a nice change up. My wife and I ordered a bottle of wine which was priced quite reasonably. TL;DR - if you are from Bombay, are craving that specific Bombay Chinese food taste, and Vada Pav - look no further - this is the place. Most of their staff are fellow Mumbaikars - shout out to Shiv, Dhvani, and Ronak! Shiv, our server was friendly and our hungry table got straight to ordering which included a flavor packed and well priced Lychee Martini ($10), Masala Chai Hot Toddy ($12), and Spicy 'Lil Rita ($12) - being the best one! Food included some well name dishes like Kashmiri Deviled Eggs ($12), Vada Pav ($12), Rasam Risotto ($15), Butter Chicken Pot Pie ($20), Chicken Steak with Makhani Sauce ($18), Street Fried Noodles ($16), and Penne Pasta with Chicken for the kiddos. Food just hits the right spots and is very flavorful, extremely well seasoned, and perfectly spiced. Interiors and their bar is very inviting. Noise levels during our stay were on the lower end. Service was excellent. What was refreshing was they didn't charge us any automatic gratuity even for our large group - but absolutely deserved a generous one! Highly highly recommend if flavorful food is your thing!

I had really high expectations going in here based on how much everyone else has raved about it,…read morebut I don't know if those were completely met. We tried the steak tartare, the secret burger, and the basil pasta paired with glasses of wine. The steak tartare was probably the weakest item, there was just absolutely no flavor whatsoever. Normally this dish is umami and maybe has a little kick from the dijon or shallots, but nothing was going on here. The burger was good, it was definitely up there compared to all the burgers I've tried, but it wasn't anything special either. I know a burger is just a burger, but sometimes you try one and it just had something that makes it stand out, and this was just not the case here. What was absolutely fantastic was the basil pasta. I myself am not a huge bolognese fan, but I probably could have eaten at least two more bowls of this pasta if given the option. So rich, noodles cooked perfectly, just so incredibly comforting. It was good enough for me to give me a reason to go back. I was told later that there were a lot off the menu I didn't order that would have explained A&H's popularity, but quite frankly, paying $18 for a carrot or potato dish simply did not resonate with me. Now, as far as service goes, we were unimpressed. I had reserved the patio originally, without realizing it is very deserted from the rest of the establishment, so we switched our table for bar seats. It wasn't a super busy night (we literally found two bar seats next to each other easily) but we were widely ignored throughout the meal. The restaurant has a great vibe, though!

We were part of a large group (12 diners) for a pre-wedding dinner/party…read more Except for the couple getting married, I believe the rest of our party were the only out-of-towners dining that evening. This is a pub-type atmosphere with a full-service, large bar serving cocktail specials and a gazillion draft beer options. There is a street-side patio if you wish to watch the people and cars at Davis Square. Five Horses serves American comfort food, and they do a pretty good job serving up their offerings. I ordered the steak tips, and they were OK. They were served Med/rare, as ordered, but they did need a bit more seasoning. Plus one ordered a steak salad, and it was OK. They were pretty frugal with the protein, and it came with an abundance of tomatoes. Another guest split a cobb salad it arrived without some ingredients, like bacon. Other diners stated that their dinners were excellent, so 4 stars seems about right. Even though they were very busy, our table was well taken care of throughout the evening. If I lived here, this would be in my rotation for a brew or two, catch a game, and enjoy a burger.

I try not to post negative reviews but I do not recommend the flank steak. I saw it (flank steak,…read morechimmichurri sauce, mashed potatoes, and broccoli) at $29 and said I haven't ordered a steak in while, let's treat myself. Boy was I disappointed, it was literally four tiny slices of beef, about a ladle and a half of mashed potatoes (flavor was great but the texture was dry and it was hard to swallow), and the broccoli was broccoli. The steak was cooked to my liking (rare) but it was room temp and I would describe that serving size as maybe the equivalent of a medallion. Everything else our table ordered (pizza, shepherd's pie, and a burger) looked great but the flank steak is not it y'all. However the service was top notch and will definitely go back, just won't order the flank steak next time!
