Great place to grab a sandwich, salad or soup while experiencing the Missouri History Museum. I really love the 2nd floor view of Forest Park from here. Floor to ceiling windows overlooking Dwight Davis Tennis Center. If you want to picnic, you can even grab a table outside and just get some drinks here. We used to come here to relax in between tennis matches during tournaments. Lots of fun memories here. We had a long conversation with Billy Jean King one summer evening when my wife was head of the ball kids and our son was a ball boy. He got to meet Serena and talk, hit with her! How cool to meet the legends! Anna Kournikova, Pete Sampras...so many great players at the Aces. My son didn't realize how big these people were at the time. Billy Jean and Serena both tore down traditional norms and blazed new trail. This place overlooking the tennis center brings me right back to these memories.

I've only been to Café St. Louis for Sunday brunch a few times, but it's been a nice experience every time! And you can't beat the view. The Mother's Day brunch is a fantastic spread, and the eggs Benedict on the usual brunch menu are delicious. The side of breakfast potatoes was seasoned really well.

Very delicious buffet and unlimited mimosas .Service was great.Very beautiful atmosphere will be back

Chicken noodle soup was okay, but would definitely recommend the Taste of The Hill sub!

Me and a friend went there and we both ordered the same corn dog, half and half original Korean corn dog, on the same order ticket. As soon as we got there I noticed we were the only ones in line and the restaurant was pretty empty, so we should get our food fairly quickly. About a line of 5 people came, ordered their food, and received their food before we ever got ours. We kept waiting and the waitress finally brought our food after about 30 minutes of waiting, but only my friend received his food. We waited longer for my food to come and it still took them about an extra ten minutes, which wasn't given to us until we went to the counter and let them know I still haven't received my food and it was then they gave me my corn dog. After I finally received my food I noticed how big it was and was at least excited to try it, but as soon as I bit into it, the majority of the inside was air and a little bit of mozzarella cheese. I was really disappointed by this experience and had high hopes I was going to enjoy it. I'm giving this experience 1 star, this place has great foods and desserts that they offer and could be better, but the staff really has to step up their performance.

The gizzards immediately reminded me of the ones from the old Sunrise Restaurant on Hanley, a nostalgic surprise! They were crispy, flavorful, and cooked just right. The shrimp fried rice was well-seasoned and tasted fresh, although I wish it came with a little more rice for the price. Even so, the food was good, and I'll definitely be back to try other items on the menu. Great first impression overall, and if you're a fan of chicken gizzards, I definitely recommend giving them a try!

We have so many good coffee spots in the city and this one seemed so interesting to me! Parking was easy, we walked up and only had to wait a few minutes in line. The menu is awesome, and honestly, their food options are priced really fair. Coffee does seem on the expensive side (two lattes for ~$20) BUT it is speciality coffee afterall. You can also see where they're roasting it, so you know it's fresh. I got the s'mores latte and my husband got a dirty chai. They obsviously use super high quality ingredients AND make syrups in house. Very unique, fresh flavors in both mine and my husbands latte. And both were SO GOOD. Espresso was pulled perfect and had great taste. Their patio is awesome, they have a little indoor space in their greenhouse as well, but we opted for outside since it was a nice morning. It's a beautiful property, and if I ever need a place to sit and work, this would be it. If we lived walking distance, this spot would be dangerous. Definitely one of the more fresh, tastier coffee spots in the city!

The coffee shop is on the right and you enter there and get in line for the counter ordering. There is a case with treats to tempt you right there and a stack of menu's to peruse. Ordering is easy and the cashier was friendly. I decided on a salted coconut latte, on their seasonal items board. I had decided on Avocado toast, it tempted me most as it was served on Union Loafers bread, who can resist that? Not me. I was given a number and chose to sit at the counter, lots of tables and counter space and additional room up the stairs. When my name was called for my latte, I was excited! It was beautiful! I really enjoyed the flavor, not too sweet and just the right amount of coconut. A server brought my avocado toast. It was also beautiful. All you need is positioned at the end of the counter, utensils, napkins, go boxes, hot sauce, etc. I liked the presentation but immediately spread the microgreens over the whole toast, moved the egg to the center and cut the toast in half forgetting to take a picture! Darn, camera always eats first but I totally forgot. I enjoyed the toast and would order it again. Good food, friendly staff!

It was pretty busy for being close to closing time which is great, birthday parties were being celebrated, families grabbing ice cream, and folks like us not ready to end their evening. It was absolutely fantastic and really hit the spot. The quality of ice cream with the little kick of espresso/ cocktail was so great. Needless to say, I was happy to visit this new-to-me location. It's an interesting complex, bathrooms literally outside and attached to Steve's Hot Dogs. It's right next to an empty/neglected field which isn't the most welcoming sight. The parking lot is convenient though vs. street parking at Locust. They have a smaller menu than the Locust location, especially much less ice cream options. I was looking for the brownie in the mug which unfortunately was not on the menu here. I got a yummy and beautiful holiday drink along with a free holiday shot (as part of their holiday pop-up). The interior dining area is super small, I wondered if they had additional seating elsewhere but didn't seem that way. We ordered food, drinks, and ice cream all of which are delicious as usual. While I would still choose to go to their flagship location on Locust, this is a great alternate location if you are near the area.
