I LOVE Cafe Zupas like a level 10 fan but this is unfortunately the second time I've come tot his location and have had unwashed greens in my mango berry salad. Lettuce/greens are huge culprits for recalls due to things like eccoli, etc. and I'm so sad I had to throw away my salad and go without a good healthy lunch because I can't trust it or this location any more for a delicious and healthy lunch. I was majorly bummed too because it was my birthday lunch too. I think some more checks and balances need to be put into place here at this Draper location. Came here today and got the California Cobb salad with ranch dressing and it was delightful! I haven't ever gotten a salad from here, but i would definitely get them in the future. I love how they toss the salad and dressing really well so everything is well coated. The service was quick and efficient. Today, my daughter and I went to lunch here and we've always found it to be wonderful food. Good service and good price. Today we ordered salad and soup. The boy that was helping us dipped my daughter soup first after making our salads and because he filled the bowl too high he threw it all out! now isn't that a little wasteful? Well it was ridiculous, but it was so disappointing because the salad had very little things in it that it was supposed to have. I think my daughter said there was three blueberries and just a couple of mangoes, little tiny pieces in her salad! I ordered a Caesar avocado salad, which was mostly lettuce with 1/4 of an avocado. We ordered the lobster bisque, which is usually wonderful, but it was lukewarm. Very disappointed won't be going back. I don't understand how these owners think It's a good idea to reduce the servings and raise the price. Do they really think people are going to come back when the food isn't as good and it cost us more money. The answer in my opinion is no we won't. read more

A bit disappointed. I woke up, not feeling the best this afternoon and wanted a nice bowl of soup. I ordered a delivery. Their delivery system is set up horribly I was getting messages about what step they were at, but then online showing a complete different. Also, they had sent me a message when my food had been picked up, but I didn't receive any message of when my food was delivered. My food had sat outside for 15 minutes. It was now cold by the time I got to it. They do need to fix their system and make sure to let people know when their food is there so they can get it at the best possible time. Before I go on about the service the food was amazing. The Chris is my go to soup and I never regret my decision. Also I feel like you get so much food for how much you pay for the price is definitely worth it. Unfortunately this location is just slow as molasses. This most recent visit the man at the beginning of the line had to give a speech to every customer about the new flavor of chicken and give a sample to them. Which is fine.... I love the food at Zupas, they use great high quality ingredients. That being said, prices can be a bit expensive for their portion sizes. I love that I can always rely on their soup to be warm and tasty, my favorite is the mushroom bisque! Considering food, service, and ambiance I would say Cafe Zupas had its heyday and is on the decline. I went to the Draper location today and felt like I was being assaulted by overly faux friendly service workers and aggressive upselling of their new "make your own bowl" and the Zupas app. The food has definitely gone down in quality, no more actual dishes or bowls (throw away crap), the floor and tables were dirty, the pace was frenetic; every service worker sounded like they were repeating a script. If I wanted that, I could go through a drive-thru. I used to love eating here, but I will not be back. Overpriced, dirty, poor food quality, and obviously coached and frenetic staff. Yuckas. I don't know who is running things, but you might want to reconsider some of the changes. Very poor experience and quality. read more

Every time I go back I realize why I stopped going! I usually only go to Zupas If I'm meeting a friend and they suggest it. While the food "could" be amazing the experience always leaves me disappointed! The serving are completely minimal. They state they weigh everything. But I have been many times since they first open years ago. The serving have continued to get smaller. I am very familiar with weights and servings of food. This is what I do for a living. Zupas 4oz serving of chicken, this would be the normal 2oz serving plus the extra 2oz (an additional $1.79) is closer to 3oz max! I have asked them several times what the weight is. Knowing they are completely giving me false information. Side note the employees may not even know if it's the correct weight. They are just told that's what the serving size is. On my berry salad photo it contained, 2 black berries, 4 blueberries, 2 raspberries and a dusting of almonds. The only reason the photo looks like the salad is slightly tossed is because I moved the topping to the side to look for my added chicken. But as you can see the employee did not remember to put it on. I was not able to watch her make the salad since she was in a hurry to ask me my order while she was fulfilling other orders and she asked me to just go to the cashier. I'm aware the photos of food will never be as advertised. But the difference is completely miss leading!!! This visit I actually drank a protein shake in my car before I walked in. Knowing that I am actually going in just to bring sit with a friend and I'm going to be paying $12+ for a salad that is nearly a side salad. I can see why the attendance is sowing going down. I went at 12:30pm and there where only 2 customers in front of me. Where in the past there would have been a line. This is the second or third time I've been to this Zupas. Not bad, but not mind blowing. The line the first time wasn't too terrible, but going with my niece and nephew made me realize just how much you get robbed for a kids meal. It's probably OB the low end of being kid friendly anyway. This particular meal was for lunch and we did a pick up order. It was a pretty quick timeline. The soup and salad were pretty standard. There were some interesting like broccoli stems in the salad. Seemed just like a strange substitute in a salad. Some of the avocado was browned and unappealing. I understand that avocados can't always be perfect all of the time, but I'd probably suggest checking over your salads before you send them out. The roll was good and tasted fresh. I really enjoy the chocolate covered strawberry each time. As long as it's a decent size and ripe haha, every once in a while you get a tiny under ripe one that gives you a literal bad taste in your mouth. read more

The food wasn't bad and the workers were very nice, but the assembly line set-up gave me so much stress and anxiety. for the workers sake, they definitely need to improve their system, it is extremely inefficient and causes for long lines to form and for food to get mixed up. overall a chaotic environment but the workers were kind and didn't seem bothered which makes me think this is the usual. read more

Cafe Zupas food is so great, and I eat here all of the time. This two star review is for their app, or rather, the fact that their online ordering system gives unrealistic pickup times. My 3rd grader has had a rough school year so far, and this morning when she forgot her lunch I made a secret plan to take her her favorite meal, Cafe Zupas. I ordered and it was to be ready at 12:10, so I could drop it off to her when her lunch starts at 12:20. I showed up at 12:05, and finally at 12:29 with no food in hand, I grabbed employee Derek (who was great, thanks for your help) and explained that an 8 year old is now 10 minutes into school lunch with nothing to eat because it's 20 minutes past the time that this order was supposed to be ready and there is no end in sight. Derek quickly grabbed a kids meal for her (it included some kind of soup that was different than I ordered, but whatever) and I was able to make it to my daughters school in (hopefully) enough time for her to have something to eat, just 20 minutes past when her lunch started. When I saw her in the lunchroom I could tell that she was upset, but when they handed her the bag from Zupa's her face lit up. This is now the third time I've ordered online from here and had it take significantly longer than the app said it would. Please figure out a better system. If it's going to take 45 minutes for an order to be ready, tell us that it will take 45 minutes. If we order and select a specific time for it to be ready, have it ready at that time. I got a text at 12:53 telling me that my order that was supposed to be ready at 12:10 is now ready. What an embarrassment. read more

I usually love zupas and decided to put in an online order this time so I didn't have to wait in line, I saw the option to add extra strawberries and was excited so I selected it, I get to the store and pick up my salad and head out and then when I open my salad I noticed there seems to be a normal amount of strawberries in the salad... and I don't normally do this but I just wanted to notify them so I called the store.... Nice lady who answered informed me they did do extra and that the "extra strawberries" are five extra pieces and asked if I would count how many were in there??? So I did and there were about 6 regular sized pieces and 4 teeny tiny little pieces so I asked her if that included tiny bits and she said yes. I said thanks for the info and I will never be paying for extra fruit again on my salad considering what I've just experienced. I don't think this is cool. This needs to be reconsidered and fixed or the prices lowered for extra strawberries. read more
