As somewhat of a food enthusiast, I normally would never consider going to Olive Garden. It's just the reputation of a generic American chain "Italian" restaurant, big on serving all you can eat bread sticks. Well, OK, I was browsing the internet the other day and I got to thinking, as so many of these chain restaurants have these lunch deals for around $11 or $12, lemme see what Olive Garden has. Well, I found Olive Garden has at all their locations a lunch special that includes all you can eat, soup, salad and yes, those breadsticks. You get you choice of 4 different house soups. You have the choice of Minestrone, Chicken & Gnocchi, Pasta e Fagioli and a soup called Zuppa Toscana. You can try just one or all of them, it's all you can eat along with the house Italian dressed salad served very chilled. Yes, the server will bring out those famous bread sticks right away, again all you can eat. That sounded like deal and I went with some of my crew, there was just 3 of us this lunch. The inside was not too busy, as we got there near opening and we got a nice booth. The inside was nice and cool with the AC going, cause it's hotter than you know what outside! I had to try their "famous" breadsticks .... OH WOW, these ARE actually really good! Served warm and soft, they have a very garlic and saltiness along with a slight sweetness I find quite pleasing. The rest of the crew agreed! The salad come out already dressed in a big bowl with tongs to serve ourselves. The server adds grated cheese if you want. We all did. The salad is super chilled, I liked that , the lettuce was super crispy. As for the soups we first choose the Zuppa Toscana described as Spicy sausage, kale, and potatoes in a creamy broth. It was a white colored soup, kinda of the more brothey thin side. I'd like a thicker soup, but that's just me. The flavor was pleasant, but not off the charts wow great. We next got more bread sticks, OK, yeah those are damn good. We tried a second soup, Pasta e Fagioli described as White/red beans, beef, and pasta in a savory broth. It was more of a reddish soup, thin broth with ground beef and pasta pieces. I liked this soup less than the first one, but one of my crew liked this one better. I gotta say, this Olive Garden experience has changed my mind about Olive Garden in general. They do have some good food options and the service was spot on. I'll come back again now. read more

We had a group of 21 people tonight and we were blown away by the amazing service! The manager Alejandro was phenomenal at making sure those with allergies were informed, accommodated, and taken care of. One of the waitresses, Makayla, was in charge of our end of the table and even though it was only her second week, she did an amazing job! We never had our water cups below half way, if she didn't have the answers to our hard questions she was very prompt in getting us the answers, and her overall attitude gave us a great experience! Our family had an incredible experience here when celebrating a birthday! Would 10/10 recommend! read more

Not that olive garden is fancy at all, but upon arriving here, the outside is rather underwhelming. Looks like it could be a Denny's or something. Overall, I don't really have too much to complain about (except the prices perhaps). The wait for our food wasn't excessive and the restaurant was clean. However the food was frankly just mediocre. I got the seafood Alfredo and not only was it fairly bland but the pasta tasted low quality. We got the fried lasagna as an appetizer and again, there just wasn't much flavor. Our waitress Aaliyah was great though! For the first time in a long time I can confidently say we recieved above and beyond service. If my review was based on her service alone, it would be 5 stars. Definitely time for an update! This location is right outside of fashion place mall, in the same parking lot so it can get pretty busy. Service however has gotten much better which makes the experience much better. Lunch specials are a really good deal with plenty of food. My favorite is the eggplant parmigiana. Delicious. My whole family enjoys the salad and bread sticks. The soups are good too! Management has really stepped up and this location runs really well. Definitely will be back for more casual lunches with my son and mom. read more

We walked in, stood in front of two hosts at the front for at least 30 seconds before they said a word to us. I ordered a coke with a lime, I was brought lemons. My daughter ordered chicken fettuccine with broccoli, the broccoli never came. I ordered the sirloin.. the steak I was given was 100% not beef. I ordered it medium rare. I wanted to compliment this Olive Garden because we had a large group reservation for a bachelorette party, and the staff tended to us the whole night. We had plenty of space for our large group; drinks, soup, and salad was refilled throughout the night; we got plenty of chocolate mints to go. I was in middle of the table by the wall, so I did get skipped for cheese on my pasta and a few other small things. Also, for anyone reading: stick with the classic fettuccine Alfredo. I tried something new, the Gorgonzola steak Alfredo, and I hated it. Too many flavors and combos of sauces. The steak is not actually served on the side. In the past we've received great service at this location. Tonight I ordered takeout for the first time because my husband is working overtime. I placed my order with a woman with an English accent. Her accent is charming, she is not. She was curt with me. Usually, when we request extra meat sauce for my husband's spaghetti it's no big deal. But she told me I must pay for it if it "was over 2 oz." Odd. I settled for the 2 oz. She wanted to know, soup or salad. I told her it would be late eating, so neither. She demanded I pick one. Very well, I said. A soup, as she hadn't liked me ordering an extra bowl of soup for myself as I always eat two bowls (it's all you can eat) and I wanted to take two bowls home. No, she didn't like that at all and wouldn't allow me too. But she couldn't deny a side of soup. We didn't want breadsticks. She found that offensive, too. Because we didn't want bread? Weird. I decided to have a glass of wine while I waited for our meal to be prepared. "You can't do that unless you order something to eat", she said. I just ordered two meals. "It's Utah law." Okay. I'll order a bowl of meat sauce so that I can take it home to my husband. At least his leftover spaghetti won't be dry in the morning. I was brought a bowl of meat sauce at the bar. I also requested a cup and lid to take it home in. As I was finishing my glass of wine our meal was served. My bartender had been delightful, I tipped her, of course the gentleman who brought the meals for me to take home was delightful, too, I thanked him. But I'd told the woman who took my order that though I would have tipped her much more for that takeout I would only tip her a dollar because of her service. I ordered another glass of wine and tipped my bartender again. I'm wondering if this is why the following happened. The manager, Alejandro Mauricio appeared at my elbow. He informed me that I "couldn't order another glass of wine because I hadn't ordered anything to eat at the bar and it was Utah law to do so." I said, I did order something to eat, I ordered a bowl of meat sauce. "But you put it in your bag", he said. WHAT? Okay, do you want me to get it out, put it back in the bowl and eat it with a spoon? Heh. "No", he said. "You can't do that." Now folks, that's pushing it. I am a law-abiding citizen and I'm firm about others abiding by the laws. But I DID order something to eat so that I could sit at the bar and enjoy a couple of glasses and wine, and Alejandro and that British gal made darned sure I couldn't...for some reason. My friend and I dined at the Murray location Sunday. I have eaten here many times and the food was pretty good. This time, worst experience ever. The menu was about 5.00 more on each item and the portions were substantially less. The chicken was rubbery and the Marsala sauce was tasteless (when I could find some.) my experience here was amazing the tall blonde host was very happy to greet us and seat us, i did however notice some negativity in the workplace my server was helenia and the service was very slow, she wasn't very happy or excited to have us as her guests i felt uncomfortable. Unfortunately this was the second time i have had that server and both experiences were very similar as I felt like I was being an inconvenience to the server based on her rushed approach and dry conversation. I have nothing to say negatively about this location and I do dine here often enough but I really felt unwelcomed by my server helenia . Olive Garden has their own delivery service so they don't do doordash. That is a disappointment in itself, but I thought I'd take a chance. I'm pretty disappointed. For a restaurant that is 2.2 miles from my house (an 8 minute drive), it somehow took 40 minutes for the food to be delivered. First, it had a guy's name listed and that he was coming on bicycle. BICYCLE!?! Who tf delivers food on a bicycle?! Then, it changed to another guy's name in a car. My food was then delivered to my neighbor's house, not even my house. A completely different house number. When I finally got it, the food was cold. It tasted meh after heating it up (if you've ever reheated Olive Garden pasta, you know what I'm talking about). Visited today 10/8/2025 and both the food and service were below average. There were maybe 10 tables when we arrived, but plenty of servers. You could very clearly hear the servers gossiping about customers, very uncomfortable and unprofessional. We had just been sat when our server immediately asked us if we were ready to order food. When our food came, right on top of the fettuccine, the broccoli was mushy and rotten. I kindly brought this up to our server and she said "What? It looks funny? I'll change it then." then she sighed and took the plate away. No apology but lots of attitude. She then proceeded to continue to do check ins at our table asking if we needed anything else or needed the bill. We were in the restaurant for a total of maybe 45 mins. All in all, a very uncomfortable experience. The restaurant itself was clean, but the dishes and cups did have what looked like to be smudged food from other plates on it. Olive Garden are really handling the Pandemic nicely. Spaced out tables, servers wearing masks and gloves, tables distanced apart. Service was top notch from beginning to end. The manager even came to our table to check on us and ask how we were doing. My brother and his wife ordered a lot of take home items (didn't get to take a picture). The friend group decided to do Girl's Day at Olive Garden all because one of the girls LOVES the Apple Martini here. We had such a fun time as they gave us our own room in a circular table. I really like circular tables because it feels more engaging than long rectangles. All of us were able to talk to each other without feeling left out. We ordered pretty much almost every appetizer. They were delicious and it was fun to try out all the appetizers they had. We ordered our entrees as well, I got the Chicken Scampi and it was delicious with a tangy sauce and juicy chicken. The bell peppers were crisp and flavorful. Our server was so sweet and patient and took such great care of us. I forgot her name, but she was awesome! Went to have a nice family meal. Place was clean and well lite. When asked why a garden salad was added to our bill. The server replied oh that's cause two of you shared an entree yet our kids didn't. However she did not inform us of this before hand nor was the salad any bigger than it would have been or smaller for four people. We did not get a refill on our salad which wish we would have since I was charged for an additional salad which c is crap inform your diners. We have never had a problem before our grown kids ordered full entrees my husband and myself shared an entree yet have never been charged extra. Granted my son paid and I said I was sorry to him in this economy make your dam servers share this info so it doesn't come out at the end and the salad doesn't change I mean really an additional almost $6 dollars really I really re think coming back. Zero stars because human hair was found in one entree in a group of six and we were still charged full price even though we did not eat it and returned it politely. I couldn't believe after waiting a really long time for food and received less than good service from the server that we were still charged for the returned entree. We still left a tip though because servers survive off of it but it's been about two years since our last visit to an OG and there won't be another in the foreseeable future. read more

The only reason I'm giving this place two stars is because of Anja, our server, and I needed to clarify that from the get go. She earned this place the second star because of her awesomeness. So we will go back to the beginning. We got to the OG at about 4:30 ish in the afternoon. We were on our way to an event, and who doesn't love Olive Garden, right? They told us it would be about a 10 minute wait while they cleaned off some tables , with which was fine. The guy who seated us was very stand-off-ish - borderline rude. I feel like he might have been management, but I can't back that up. He took us to our table, where we sat for at least another 10 minutes waiting to be acknowledged by anyone. This is when Anja noticed us sitting there - no drinks, no anything. She apologized profusely and explained it wasn't her section, but she helped us anyway. She was quick and efficient- willing to take care of is. So on to the food. It was mediocre in my opinion. My friends thought their meals were decent, but nothing special about them. My shrimp was weird tasting, so I ended up eating the scampi noodles, and left the weird shrimp in the bowl. Why didn't I say anything? Because even though Anja wasn't supposed to be our server, she was was trying to help the customers in her section, and nobody else bothered to check on us. Probably won't be back here! I thought I'll give this particular location a four-star instead of five. The reasoning you'll sure to read in the following paragraphs: With plenty of parking around the establishment since it is tucked on State Street side of the Fashion Mall in Murray, this Olive Garden location is great for any occasion. We just happened to be in the area after traveling from the point of the mountain in Lehi and decided to have our late dinner here. We had a friend with us who never had Italian Food but had heard of Olive Garden and was all for it. Made it through the main entrance and got our names on the list. It's about 9pm and it did not appears to be busy, which was what we had hoped for. However, we had to wait almost 20-25 minutes. I've been to other locations through Utah and never had to wait that long to he seated. Surely I assumed they had a good reason for it. Come to find out, the front lady receptionist who wrote our names down thought I said 15 people but we only had 5. No biggie! Sometimes, these things happen! The receptionist apologized and proceed to seat us at the west area round table meant for 10. Man, it surely felt like I was at the Don d' Italia Round Table or something!! There were about 3 other parties throughout this section of the restaurant we were treated at. However, it was all handled by 1 Waitress; She was awesome and amazingly fast as well. She got our drinks and soup (no one wanted any salads) all within 10 minutes while still assisting the other parties. Within another 10 minutes, she got our main meals out! She top off all of our drinks, refilled the breadsticks and got second round of soups for everyone. Although we ordered individual meals, we had plans to make it a family-style meal sharing event!! The Shrimp Scampi was still one of my best dish, while the Tour de' Italia dish was uniquely tasty. We had other dishes that I can't recall right now, but it didn't matter; food in general at Olive Garden is great and delicious. The final verdict for the food was with our "Never-Had-Italian-Food" friend of ours. SHE LOVED IT!! If I can give a 4.5 Star, I would and that's only because the wait was usually long for a place that's about to close up. The food came out wonderfully and cooked perfectly. The waiters service was consistent welcoming and friendly so you don't feel uncomfortable, I do not know the name of the guy who looked like the kitchen manager but he looked like he was keeping his staff motivated and light hearted especially during an Nsync or BSB song which really made the ambiance feel friendly. The staff also had excellent communication which made it feel like they'd be in control even if it got hectic. I've been to this location several times over the years and I haven't encountered any issues with food or service. My party of 6 arrived prior to our reservation time to ensure we were seated promptly at the advise of the manager Liz I spoke with earlier. I will say when I called to make the reservation, someone hung up the phone while I was waiting for the manager to pick up. I called back and was on hold for almost 10 mins and Liz apologized for the previous call. I appreciated that - tells me she probably went to the phone to answer and the phone was hung up. I ordered the Asiago Tortellini Stuffed Pasta with grilled chicken. It was good, not salty and I didn't have to add anymore salt to the dish, filling and came out hot. The chicken and gnocchi soup I got (and always get no matter what the weather is outside lol) was warm, definitely needed to be hotter than it was. Nonetheless, the flavors were still there and I sopped that up with breadsticks and mozzarella cheese sticks. Place was clean, looking like a normal Olive Garden. Will, our server, was polite and pretty on top of our table. We ordered a lot of water because it's hot outside that he ended up dropping off a pitcher of water at the table. He probably should have done the same with Coke Zero as well LOL I'm not sure if that's normal at OG since I've never seen a server do that, but it is what it is. If it's new, I'm going to assume it's because everyone is short staffed and they got to find ways to provide service quickly and efficiently. read more

I've been here many many times over many many years and have enjoyed it every time. We got seated right away and the staff was very friendly. Our server was very friendly and very helpful. She even make sure we knew that the salad and breadsticks were never adding as well as the dipping sauce for the breadsticks if we ordered any. She made good suggestions and we loved our meal. It's been a while since I've eaten here. They have remolded, at least the waiting area. The new decor has an Italian Villa motif, sort of. It looks like the to go area will be more efficient the way they have it layed out now. I got here at 5:30pm on a Wednesday. (It was for my daughters birthday, shhh she doesn't like people to know) I was seated right away, and noticed that the menus have been updated a bit, but the seating area is still the same. While waiting for other people to show up, I was greeted by an older waitress, (she's worked here for years). She took my drink order, and came back to check on me until my daughter arrived. Side note: she gave the same speil (story) to me, and the next table, and the next, and next. It became funny to me. Where is the individual communication with your customers? Each customer is unique to you, we deserve a unique conversation. Is it because you have worked here so long, that interactions have become blase with customers? I was going to order the steak that I usually get when I eat here, but it is no longer on the menu. Now what do I get? I don't want any pasta. I ended up ordering Braised Beef Bolognese with Pappardelle, which was ok but came with pasta. I ordered a Chardonnay, Chateau Ste. Michelle. The waitress came back, and said they were out, so I ended up with a Chardonnay, Clos du Bois, NOT GOOD. Don't order this one if you like a nice Chardonnay. They should have offered to give me my money back, it was that bad. For an after dinner desert drink, I ordered the Espresso Chocolate Martini. This was a disappointment as well. I don't know what I expected, Yes I do...a bartender that knows how to make a good tasting Martini! I suppose you're not going to find a really good mixologist at a local Olive Garden. We all ordered dessert, and since it was my daughters birthday, and I knew she wouldn't say anything, I told the waitress it was my birthday. When she brought out our desserts she asked me what my name was so I told her my daughters name, then she began to sing. (she didn't have all the waiters join her, just her, which was fine by us) She looked me right in my eyes, and with her shaky voice she proceed to sing a song to me, not the happy birthday song, just a nice song. My daughter (me) didn't get a free dessert for her birthday, just the birthday song :) Olive Garden, to me, is just a sit down fast food restaurant. Sure I'll come here again, but I don't come here for fine dining Italian food. In fact, I don't think there is a real good Italian restaurant in town, I've yet to find one. read more

They've recently remodeled this location, and it's so nice inside! It was already nice to begin with in my opinion, but there's more seating for the waiting area, and it's been revamped all throughout the restaurant to look more elegant. It's really nice! Each time I've been to this restaurant the service is fast, and accurate and the employees are very personable and make the dining experience pleasant. After a long day of work, I was too exhausted to cook.....okay if Im being honest I hate cooking so I really just convinced my husband to go out for dinner this particular night. So, we popped in to Olive Garden on a Friday night. Surprisingly, there was no wait when we walked in so the hostess walked us straight to our seat at the far back corner of the restaurant. My husband and I were seated at a tiny two seater table against the wall that was awkwardly positioned between a round, 10 person seated tabletop and a 4 person table top. Tip: If you get seated here, make sure you save yourself the embarrassment of having to ask other guests to make way for you to exit your seat and just use the restroom before you sit down. After we were seated, we were greeted by our server Enoch who suggested we try the Kiwi-Melon Limonata - so we did and I absolutely L-O-V-E-D it! It had the perfect balance of tart limes and sweet Kiwi and melons, almost like a giant jolly rancher. I then ordered the endless stuffed pasta and decided on the stuffed cheese ravioli with Alfredo sauce and grilled chicken. I don't know if it was because I was starving but It was SO good! I almost had to ask for three refills, It was so good. The Alfredo sauce was incredibly creamy and cheesy and the chicken was nice and tender. The ravioli wasn't too soft or too hard, it was cooked perfectly to tie everything together. I usually am not a fan of leftovers but I will say, you cannot go wrong with leftovers from Olive Garden. In my experience, their pastas are absolutely exquisite! I'm only taking off a star because the seating was pretty inconvenient and the parking is horrendous.
