Sorry... the Food was good. And gone before I could get my Pic

Seems like a Hole in the Wall Bar with Bar Food. That's all I needed- it's right across from my hotel- the Hampton Inn. It did smell like a college bar with lots of beer on the floor, so, Didn't expect much... it also looked like they were understaffed; but, the food came quick, the bartender and waitress were awesome, and the Bleu Cheeze Burger, fries, and Salad were right on time and Top Notch. I could easily find myself here, again. Great experience where I wasn't expecting as much.

This is a fun little spot near Seattle Center. I went with friends before the ballet and it had some pretty solid food for a bar. The service was great. They are also dog friendly which I loved and made me want to come back. They also were fast and not overcrowded before the show which was a lovely change from the usual ambiance of most spots in the area before shows.

The service was excellent, we could watch different sporting events. The food was delicious and the atmosphere is inviting. The Restaurant is dog friendly, which is a plus!

After we landed at the airport and checked into our hotel we were starving and were told to check out the restaurant across the street. Glad we did, we were the only ones there but got a great meal and directions around the city before we headed out to the Mariners game!

This is a local Irish pub and Seattle sports bar, conveniently located near Climate Pledge Arena. The atmosphere is lively, and we often go here before concerts to watch Seattle sports. Recently, we were here watching the Mariners' playoff before a concert, and the service was fast, even though the pub was crowded. Our server, Alika, along with the bartender Kyle, was friendly and helpful, making suggestions to order. If you are a vegetarian, there are only a few options, and if you are gluten-free, even fewer. We shared the nachos, and I washed it down with a dirty martini that was better than I expected from a pub, not a show stopper, but decent. I will continue to come here for sports and recommend it for others. *Side note* They are dog-friendly!

We stopped in for a quick dinner, exhausted from our day walking around the city. Cairde offered a quick and tasty experience, perfectly sufficient in filling our bellies and being tasty enough to leave us pleased, too. The restaurant was clean and spacious, with great views of the street and plenty of windows to let the light in. If you're here to watch a game, there's TVs everywhere you look, so you won't be lacking in options! My Shepherd's Pie was delicious. It's not the most flavorful that I've ever had, but was texturally perfect, and that kept me eating happily. My partner had the fried chicken sandwich, which smelled divine, but was also a bit lacking in flavor. He noted that the chicken was so juicy and pleasant to eat that he didn't mind the lack of flavor. The brownie dessert, though, was positively awesome. I'd come back just for that. Our server was also bartending, so she was running back and forth between our table and the bar, but she did an excellent job checking up on us, refilling our waters, and being generally great. Thank you for being so wonderful! Overall, Cairde Public House & Bar is tasty, quick, and offers a pleasant atmosphere for a nice meal. The food is made really well, and with a bit more flavor, this place would really shine!

Nice neighborhood Irish bar/ restaurant. Severed a proper Guinness. The twist on a the Black and Tan, using their Seattle beer versus a Harp was ok ... slightly bitter for me. Fish and Chips were awesome... great tartar sauce. The Fry Bread Taco was unexpected... I really enjoyed that. Great neighborhood bar not sure I'd seek this place out ( so many great choices). Did like it

    Fantastic pretzel

We walked to this fun place when staying at a nearby hotel downtown Seattle. We were surprised by the fun vibe. There was a big table of friends and lots of couple groupings. We started with the pretzel with 2 sauces. It was so tender and flavorful with a crunchy yummy exterior. They have a great varied menu-- the Irish regulars but also plenty of burgers, etc. we had the chicken pot pie as well as the corned beef and cabbage. They were both generous and delicious. The service was quick and informal. We ended up really enjoying our evening there and then walked up to the Seattle Center for some exploring.

Burger - no sign of pink there. Cool your fingers down by touching the fries.

Are you staying at the Hampton Inn across the street? Are you a tourist visiting Seattle Center -- or going on a Cruise? Or going to a concert or sporting event nearby? Then YES, Cairde is absolutely for you. For what it is, it's good! The only things holding it back in my opinion are the fact that their specialty cocktail list is not great, their fries were served cold, their burger was very well-done (as in, completely cooked to bits). The Seattle Dog I had was hot and delish. The Fry Bread open faced tacos tasted a lot better than they looked. The server/bartender did a good job - I think there were only 3 people running the whole place? Impressive. Many TVs to space out on while you wait, great 70s rock playlist on the stereo.

    Ohio state game
    David X.

It's a buckeyes bar, so it's always a great atmosphere during Ohio state games. Always packed, and people are crazy about the game. Service is also decent despite the place getting super crowded. The food and drinks are okay, not the best, and there aren't a ton of options. But for watching an Ohio State football game this is probably the best place to be if you want to really feel the energy!

Clean. Friendly service. Had an espresso martini that wasn't on the menu and definitely worth it. Bartender knows what he is doing.

Time without number I've found myself here, be that first dates, my birthday, or New Year's Eve, and it always feels like home. If home were a clown/carnival themed acid trip of a pinball arcade bar, that is. And what's not to love about that? The bar tenders here are cool and friendly people who pour drinks with a heavy hand, and understand the mission: get the patrons who want to be drunk, drunk. The first few times I visited, I felt a leeriness about ordering food. But once I got over myself, I kinda fell in love with the menu, and I've probably eaten everything on it (including the clam chowder). Their hot dogs are wonders to behold, utter symphonies for the senses, and I refuse to visit Shorty's without getting one. Best dog in Seattle? Why yes. I think so. To paraphrase one reviewer: "Take your date here. If she doesn't like it, she's lame and you shouldn't waste your time with her anyways." Shorty's is the bomb.

That's not something paying customers want to hear. I ended up ordering a drink for myself while the guys were looking at the menu because they were doing a food hop, and us girls were doing a bar hop. During that time, the bartender came back to our table at least four times within about five minutes. Instead of being attentive, it felt pushy and aggressive, especially since they were still deciding what they wanted. I've been here a few times before, but after this experience, this will definitely be my last visit.

The Tech & Ordering Breakdown: The issues began immediately with a broken QR code ordering system. After we informed the staff, we were told to just wait. After wasting 10 minutes, we had to flag someone down to finally take our order in person. The entire process took 20 minutes due to zero proactive support. The Main Service & Food Transparency Issues: While the overall food quality was disappointing, the service was even worse. Our skewers arrived piled on a single plate with no explanation of what was what. Our server promised to check on the names of the dishes but never returned. She actively avoided our table for the rest of the night. We eventually flagged down someone who appeared to be the manager or owner. While polite, her service was just as inattentive. When she tried to identify the skewers, her explanation completely contradicted our actual order. We ordered one rounds of Wagyu--the most expensive item on the menu--but what we were served did not match. It left us feeling like the restaurant is either substituting premium cuts with cheaper meat or the staff is entirely untrained. Logistics & Drinks: The lack of basic service standards was shocking considering the restaurant only had two other tables occupied. A cocktail ordered at the very beginning of the night didn't arrive until we were almost finished eating, despite us successfully ordering multiple rounds of beer and sake throughout the meal. There is a complete lack of basic service standards and transparency here which is absolutely sad as the restaurant has pretty good ambiance. Despite the ambiance, I highly recommend spending your hard-earned money at one of Seattle's other excellent izakayas instead.
