Food was good but they took 1.5 hours to bring the food out! Unbelievable for a fast food restaurant.

The meat was tender and juicy, the hummus was some of the best I've had, and the tabbouleh was the star of the meal--fresh, bright, and full of flavor. The service was a little slow, but the food was definitely worth the wait.

Our server was attentive and answered all our questions. There were so many great options to choose from on the menu. Since it was our first time, we decided to try the mixed grill -- plenty of food for two people. The lamb kebab was delicious, the chicken was tender and perfectly cooked, and the beef was flavorful and well seasoned; a little more cooked than I like, still juicy. The rice was amazing! My husband enjoyed the French fries, and the garlic sauce was out of this world. The hummus was very good, so creamy. The restaurant stayed empty until we left. The outdoor space is super cute, too hot today to sit outside. For the price, the indoor decor could use a little care -- the table numbers are cracked, the two-top was crowded with the number holder, plant and candle. We had to move them aside before the food came. Given how large the portions are, one more dish and we'd have run out of room. For a place open until 2:00AM with hookah smoking, I was pleasantly surprised there was no smell at all. We will definitely be back to try more items on the menu.

We ordered our food at the register and waited less than 10 min to get our food. My falafel was absolutely delicious! I love falafel and eat it everywhere they have it and this one was my favorite! It's in a pressed pita bread and comes with some sort of sauce that almost makes this perfect sized sandwich creamy! My hubby had the chicken shawarma platter. As you can see in the pic, it was served with pita, salad and fries or rice. The chicken was so flavorful and delicious. We'll both return and share the love! Thank you!

It wasn't too welcoming when i went into the restaurant to grab my order. I feel a little deceived when i got my order, it felt very light and I decided to open it once I was in the car and noticed how small the Shawarma was. It was only meat and some onions no tomatoes or lettuce. I paid $15 for this and feel like they cheated me. It was pretty decent, but nothing to rave over. If they added more meat, tomatoes and lettuce it would be great. Some places offer a side with a shawarma too. But if anything adding more to the wrap would feel like it's moneys worth.

A gentleman was standing in the kitchen, & he just looked at us with no greeting. We sat down, looked at a menu, & waited 7 minutes before he came out. Finally he appeared & we ordered the small chicken shawarma wraps. The gentleman replied we could not have chicken shawarma wraps today. I laughed & we ordered a beef shawarma wrap, a falafel wrap, & a side of baba ghanoush, & 2 waters. We sat for 23 minutes, lol. I told my wife this is turning into such a bad experience. Finally the man showed up with the wraps. I mentioned we also ordered waters & baba ghanoush. He seemed confused but brought them out. A moment later I sank my teeth into some of the most delicious beef shawarma I've ever had. The shop owner was from Egypt & his beef had been marinated in warm spices like cinnamon. It was unexpectedly excellent. Then I tried the baba ghanoush. Wow!! It was not the usual flavoring that I love. It was totally unique & also excellent. It also had a tiny bit of heat in it from a chile pepper. Finally, the falafel was way above average, tasting so great. Anyway, I was ready to give Zalabia one star, but it always comes down to the food. And the food was 5 stars.
