Get the Serrano roll! Delicious hamachi with a spicy kick! The seafood ceviche was also delicious. Went to four restaurants in Miami so far on this trip and this has been the best meal so far! I'd highly recommend

Food was delicious and service was quick despite being with a semi- large group. We sat outside on the gorgeous tropical patio. It rained really hard while we were there but thankfully our table was on the interior of the patio. However, I saw others who were seated closer to the edges of the patio move because they were getting wet. Rain is an inevitability in Miami so I think a restaurant with outdoor seating should be able to provide an experience that doesn't include patrons having to move tables after they have been seated + served. I have been to many restaurants in tropical locations, and others seemed to have figured this out. Nonetheless, the food, drinks, and service were good, and I will continue to recommend this restaurant to friends and family!

My husband and I stopped by here for a quick bite after we got in late from a flight. The restaurant doesn't really have much space inside so we decided to sit outside. We both got sushi rolls to start and then for my entrée I got the lomo saltado. I had to send my sushi roll back because it had a really funky and fishy taste. I've never experienced before with sushi. As for my entrée, it was pretty tasty that the meat wasn't cooked to the temperature I asked for so it made it hard to eat. Overall, I came back I would just stick to the hot entrees

    My points

They changed their point system, which now I've lost the 1,445 points I had which means I lost 145.00 dollars I should have to spend there. I am a regular and was there a lot and this is how ownership is treating the regulars there. There is a lot of us regulars there that have now lost anywhere from 100 to 500 dollars because of this and we didn't know we had to spend them in a certain time they just changed and gave us no time to use our points. I think it's horrible buisness tenure. I really hope you honor our points somehow, because I tried to use mine and it wouldn't let me they are completely gone. I hope to hear back and get this resolved because I'm pissed off at it and so are lot of other people! Here's a picture of my points I should have!

I love Suviche. Usually you can spot me at the Wynwood location but decided to come to Brickell this time instead. Landed during happy hour and quickly found out the menu has switched up and added. Now the happy hour has more options to choose from, and the menu added new rolls as well. Must try's are Saltado Spring Rolls 10/10 . This time I didn't order them, buttt let me tell you they are delish. I did try the Rolex roll . Very interesting and unique flavor combo but hit the spot ! Thank you!

Amazing. Small place. Tried 3 different dishes, all fresh and well crafted. Nice people too

Was pretty packed on a weekday evening, but the servers were graciously hustling to make it work for everyone! Ordered some of their ceviches to share as a table; would say each full ceviche dish is enough of an appetizer for about 3 people. Also got the lomo saltado and sushi heaven roll. Both were pretty good, though the sushi heaven roll was not as flavorful and their soy sauce tasted more like a watered down sweet ish sauce. Good quality of fish overall and cheaper than most other ceviche places in Miami!

I'm sad to see quality and experience go down in the last few years. We stopped by for dinner and ordered 4 half rolls and just water: Miami, SuViche, La Cruda Verdad, and Spicy Salmon roll. The rice was hard and tasted old but we didn't complain and finished our food. I was excited to use my rewards I had been saving for awhile. When we got the bill it was $80+ but didn't realize until we paid and asked for a receipt. We were charged for 3 full rolls in addition to the 4 half rolls we ordered! We complained right away and got refunded the amount of the three rolls but not the tip to compensate. We tipped 65% of our bill. So ridiculous! BE CAREFUL! I want to assume she made an honest mistake and didn't do it to inflate the tip. So sad to see things go down.

This was THE highlight of my trip to Miami. I really wanted ceviche and this was SO delicious. The server recommended the Aji Amarillo one with mahi. It was perfect. I will try to replicate it at home, but the magical leche de Tigres will be hard to replicate. I also had a Michelada with the aji amarillo instead of the usual tomato. Fantastic!

Visited Miami for the first time and was recommended this place. They serve Peruvian and Japanese mix cuisine. I really enjoyed my ceviche which tasted fresh. The staff were very helpful with understanding the menu. The restaurant is small but there is limited outdoor and indoor seating.

We order all the time from this Suviche location, we were in the area and decided to stop by. First thing I noticed was indoor seating, it's almost nonexistent. There's two chairs in the inside and a couple of cramped tables on the outside. This is Miami, it's hot and humid most of the year so I don't know what they were thinking here. They have fans, but it just blows warm air at you. Our waitress was sweaty, but nice and attentive. The food is good, it hasn't disappointed yet. Unless it's around the holiday season when the weather is nice, I won't come back to eat here. I'll keep ordering out.

    Regina X.

Their menu is extensive with causas, rice and noodle dishes in addition to sushi and ceviche. Sushi was good but have had better (Pubbelly for one)! Love the authentic ceviche though, complete with leche de tigre and Peruvian corn. Small nitpicks: 1. They only have outdoor seating so will be batting away flies. 2. Will have to pay for bottled water, no tap water available

Great cute little spot. Unpretentious and laid back. The ceviche was fresh and with lots of flavor. The lomo steak tellerina was the best! So glad we found this place. The sushi was somewhat average and very small in portion. Otherwise this would have gotten a 5star!

Although we did not try it this time, I would expect it quality to be consistent across the whole menu. There were only a couple group of customers when we ate here so it was quiet. The server was quite friendly, and walked us through the menu patiently. It's not a long list of menu selections, and each tapa dish was small portion as expected and a bit pricy (normal for Miami though). We had three orders of the side breads coz they were so crispy and flavourful. For tapas, we also tried the warm salad with eggplant and red pepper which was soft and had an interesting taste. The pork cheek was tender and flavourful, so we placed an extra order of it. Ibreico ham was also a must try (portion was ok). Artichoke exceeded my expectations. Usually I'm not a big fan of this vegetable, but I liked the sweet and sour taste offered at this restaurant. Overall, it's a great dining experience. Expect $100+ CAD/$70+ USD per person.

Also I give them points for not rushing you even though in their policy there is a seating time limit. We ended up just ordering the premium omakase, and that was quite a bit of food. I am glad I didn't order extras like I usually like to do at an Omakase. While the food in general is good and enjoyable, there was nothing very memorable, other than their Lava cake. That was to die for! And I skips dessert 99% of the time. Service was good but not stellar, could be because they had wait staff in training (during table service, our server didn't really know how to properly shave a truffle and another staff had to take over. Our courses are mumbled, doesn't sound like our server was confident about what the food is)

An Evening at Yamashiro…read more I had the pleasure of dining at Yamashiro on Wednesday evening with my best friend, and from start to finish, the entire experience was exceptional. It was one of those evenings where every detail--from the food and cocktails to the atmosphere and hospitality--came together beautifully. We started with cocktails. I ordered the Downtown Abbey made with Ketel One Vodka, guava, gold lavender syrup, yuzu, and Prosecco. At $22, it was beautifully balanced--refreshing, elegant, and, most importantly, not overly sweet. The combination of guava, lavender, and yuzu gave it a lovely balance of fruit, floral notes, and acidity. My friend enjoyed a passion fruit margarita, which was equally delicious and a perfect way to begin the evening. For our first course, we ordered several dishes to share. The Katsu Tender Sando was absolutely incredible--easily one of the highlights of the meal. It was so flavorful and satisfying that I could have happily ordered another one. The Cucumber Tataki Salad was the perfect contrast: crisp, tangy, refreshing, and light. It brought a beautiful freshness to the table and helped balance some of the richer dishes. We also had the steamed edamame with truffle, which was such a simple dish elevated by the addition of truffle. It was a subtle but very nice touch and showed how a familiar ingredient can feel completely different with the right finishing element. For our second course, we shared a sashimi and nigiri platter, and the quality of the fish really stood out. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, delicate, and beautifully prepared. Each piece allowed the natural flavor and texture of the fish to shine without being overwhelmed by unnecessary additions. For our main course, we had the ribeye steak, which was rich, flavorful, and perfectly suited for sharing. But if I had to choose one absolute favorite from the savory courses, it would be the miso butter corn. The combination of sweet corn with the savory richness of miso butter was incredible. It was one of those dishes that sounds simple but ends up being something you keep thinking about after the meal. We finished dinner with a lava cake, which was the perfect indulgent ending to the meal. But the evening didn't end there. After dinner, we were invited to experience the new 400 Vinyls room, and honestly, this was one of my favorite parts of the entire night. The room has a completely different energy while still maintaining the sophistication of Yamashiro. The atmosphere feels elevated yet warm and homey, making it an incredibly comfortable place to settle in and enjoy the rest of the evening. And then came the dirty martini--possibly one of the best dirty martinis I've ever had. Made with Beluga Gold, it was beautifully executed and exactly the kind of cocktail you want to end an evening with. The music was another highlight. It was incredibly diverse, with something for everyone, and it created an atmosphere that felt lively without becoming overwhelming. The 400 Vinyls room is truly the kind of space where you can see yourself staying for "just one more drink" and suddenly realizing you've spent the rest of the night there. Overall, Yamashiro gave us much more than just a great dinner. It was a complete experience--from the food and cocktails to the setting, music, and transition into the 400 Vinyls room. It felt sophisticated without being pretentious, intimate without being too quiet, and energetic without losing its sense of elegance. It was the perfect night out with my best friend, and 400 Vinyls was the perfect way to end it.

Osaka Brickell: Extraordinary…read more My wife and I visited Osaka in Brickell, Miami, this evening--and I was so impressed that I rushed home to write this review. The Verdict In one word: extraordinary. We loved it. Restaurants often use the word "fusion" loosely, but at Osaka, it truly applies. The menu delivers Peruvian and Japanese fusion at its best: a thoughtful blend of South American and Japanese flavors, with each bite offering a beautifully engineered explosion of taste. Food The food is creative, beautifully presented, and genuinely unique--but Osaka offers much more than great dishes. Our server, Yesenia, guided us with recommendations that balanced our preferences with the restaurant's signature flavors, including a remarkably fresh sashimi amuse-bouche, Kiiro ceviche, a Hongos Teppan trumpet mushroom dish that was not listed on the menu, and a Nikkei Makimono that brought Peruvian flavors into a traditional sushi roll. The restaurant manager, Miki, also checked in during our meal. The service was casual, attentive, and perfect. Ambiance is paid to every detail. We ate at the sushi bar, but the main dining area was spectacular, and the bar area was sublime. Lastly, the music was a combination (fusion) of new age, Peruvian jungle music and Japanese sounds all blended into a crescendo on the experience. Try it....you'll love it. Ten out of ten !

It was perfectly prepared. -Spicy Edamame spicy and sweet very good. -Duck Lettuce Wraps a nice piece of duck breast with crispy skin on butter leaf lettuce. It was very good. -King Crab California Roll excellent -Brussels Sprouts with crispy pork belly. Also very good. We finished with the chocolate lava cake. I would have liked the cake to be a little more cooked. It was like a brownie sitting on top of chocolate soup. The flavor was good. The ginger ice cream that came with it was more ice than cream and the ginger flavor was very subtle. Valet parking is available.

You have to try the A5 Wagyu beef with the foie gras, both were incredible and full of flavor. The drinks were just as good and really well made by the bartender Domen. What stood out the most was the service. Robbie y Dylan treated us like royalty and knew the menu like the back of their hand. Everyone treated me so kindly and made me feel welcome the entire time. Definitely a place you want to visit for great food, drinks, and a great atmosphere.

Then they pour the bottle touching the rim of your glass spreading contaminated germs from the other patron's glass! GROSS! They proudly boast that their service is top notch, while it's 7 men standing in the corner and 1 sweet woman dressed like a geisha being obnoxiously monitored. The vibe felt very intense there. The hovering over people in this tiny, little whole in the wall restaurant felt overwhelming. I started to lose my patience being that there is so much staff standing around and found myself several times having to pour my own wine bottle. 2nd, I told them it was my son's birthday and nobody went out of their way to make his birthday special! And just a fair warning, you will spend over a $1000 dollars and walk out of there still very hungry! What a disappointment! Furthermore, they price gouge people trying to pass off as if his restaurant is Michelin worthy! An absolute joke! And here's the "best part" when I tried to voice my concerns, I was told to leave! I was very polite and instead of hearing me out, trying to make my experience better, I get told to leave! How disgusting! Please don't come here. The ambiance is terrible, overwhelming, and you will get sick because they have no consideration for cross contamination!

We got there a bit before our reservation time, and they let us sit in the smaller dining area as we waited for our spots to open up. We all did the $200 tasting and we were all pleasantly surprised by the quality and variety of the bites. It's 8 courses that range from a nigiri sampler, small bites, and dessert. Most memorable were the clam broth, beef loin and carrots, and the fatty tuna nigiri with caviar on top. The fatty tuna nigiri with caviar was the main reason I wanted the tasting! There is an à la carte menu too, but it was a lot easier just letting the chefs portion out our meal. Would definitely check them out and enjoy a superb evening out!
