It was early evening but we were already hungry and came here for happy hour. It's quite small inside with limited seating but has a bigger outdoor dining area which is where we sat. Food was delicious and service was quick despite being with a semi- large group. We sat outside on the gorgeous tropical patio. It rained really hard while we were there but thankfully our table was on the interior of the patio. However, I saw others who were seated closer to the edges of the patio move because they were getting wet. Rain is an inevitability in Miami so I think a restaurant with outdoor seating should be able to provide an experience that doesn't include patrons having to move tables after they have been seated + served. I have been to many restaurants in tropical locations, and others seemed to have figured this out. My husband and I stopped by here for a quick bite after we got in late from a flight. The restaurant doesn't really have much space inside so we decided to sit outside. We both got sushi rolls to start and then for my entrée I got the lomo saltado. I had to send my sushi roll back because it had a really funky and fishy taste. I've never experienced before with sushi. As for my entrée, it was pretty tasty that the meat wasn't cooked to the temperature I asked for so it made it hard to eat. This was THE highlight of my trip to Miami. I really wanted ceviche and this was SO delicious. The server recommended the Aji Amarillo one with mahi. It was perfect. I'm sad to see quality and experience go down in the last few years. We stopped by for dinner and ordered 4 half rolls and just water: Miami, SuViche, La Cruda Verdad, and Spicy Salmon roll. The rice was hard and tasted old but we didn't complain and finished our food. I was excited to use my rewards I had been saving for awhile. When we got the bill it was $80+ but didn't realize until we paid and asked for a receipt. We were charged for 3 full rolls in addition to the 4 half rolls we ordered! We complained right away and got refunded the amount of the three rolls but not the tip to compensate. We tipped 65% of our bill. So ridiculous! BE CAREFUL! I've ordered the majority of their sushi rolls as it's a great hybrid of Peruvian Japanese sushi from the perfection roll to the jalapeño roll as I used to take advantage of their Tuesday special of buy 1 roll, get the other 50% off. They have happy hour even on the weekends which is such a delight! Their ceviche is fresh and great appy to start with and their arroz humedao (smoked rice) with aji Amarillo, ask them to make it spicy and it is so delicious. We order all the time from this Suviche location, we were in the area and decided to stop by. First thing I noticed was indoor seating, it's almost nonexistent. There's two chairs in the inside and a couple of cramped tables on the outside. This is Miami, it's hot and humid most of the year so I don't know what they were thinking here. They have fans, but it just blows warm air at you. Our waitress was sweaty, but nice and attentive. The food is good, it hasn't disappointed yet. Found this place after flying into Miami for the first time on a Saturday night. This is a quaint restaurant with bold Peruvian and Japanese flavors. Our kind server brought over roasted corn nuts which were a nice treat to have. We ordered a sushi roll, their signature ceviche and the Bang Bang shrimp. The food was packed with flavor and freshly prepared. We did order a rice dish which they forgot to bring but our palettes were overloaded with flavor that we didn't mind the 3 dishes we had. I stopped by during Happy Hour to try some ceviche. As soon as you sit down, they serve you a crispy corn snack, which is delicious, but very salty. The whole Happy Hour menu looked great, but I didn't have too much time, so I just went with the ceviche. The fish was high quality and the plantain chips were absolutely delicious! There are a lot of options for food in the downtown Brickell area. Like overwhelmingly so. I was working in Miami for a few days and needed a quick lunch in the area before work started. And this little place had an amazing amount of options to pick from. The ceviche options allowed you to pick your seafood and then choose from several types of ceviche options. Talked with the great waitress who helped me select. I ended up with the mahi-mahi aji amarillo and it was fantastic! The fish was fresh, the flavors were bold and the portion was really large (and I only got a half-portion).
