Nice little Italian restaurant in the middle of the busy downtown Miami. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I came with my toddler and they were super nice to her. A big plus for me! Food was just delicious! Pasta was nicely made and tasty. Meat was perfectly cooked. I would like a little bit of sea salt on it, but otherwise, it was great. Potatoes were crispy and hot, but I would also would've enjoy it with a bit of dressing sauce or olive oil. Overall, a solid option in downtown Miami for real Italian food. Quick late lunch at the cafe, in the business district. Totally spontaneous decision, rather than do a sandwich or a salad, saw this little cafe, looked at the menu posted outside. The waiter came out, I asked about the specials, he said, Branzino, which I love. Sat down, ordered, the fish came out moments later, the skin perfectly crisp, pan seared. The fish was served a top of a light puttanesca (maybe) olives, stewed tomatoes, with a side of firm, multi colored carrots. Very tasty, and light dish, perfect for the weather and the afternoon breeze. Had a lovely Chardonnay with notes of peach, to accompany the fish, quite nice. Finished off my meal w/ a double expresso which came to the table, hot, what a surprise! Getting a hot expresso in S. Florida is a hard thing to do! lol Service a 5, food a 4, ambiance a 3. Had dinner here after a long drive from Key West with out of town fiend. We saw "fresh pasta" and we had to go in. We started with tuna tartare. Followed by gnocchis and pasta. We wanted to try both so they brought the dishes in it's own pans plus plates. Gnocchis were perfection. And service was excellent. read more

I enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and welcoming hospitality from the team and Luca. I've tried all the big local Italian restaurants, like Il gabiano down the street. Most are overpriced with decent food and typical Miami rude treatment. You get none of that here. This place is the real deal. A great date spot or family dinner spot for enjoying quality food! Tonight we had a phenomenal dinner at Rosaluna. There were 16 of us and we are all foodies and dine at many great restaurants. In addition, many of us at the table work on very successful food TV shows! Our meal was amazing from start to finish! Here are some highlights: 1. We arrived with two extra people in our party. After creating each of us warmly, the server and manager started figuring out how to add another two top to our table to accommodate us. Never a complaint and everyone working there was smiling. 3. They were so grateful for our business, extremely respectful and knowledgeable about each dish on the menu. 4. Waters and drinks were served immediately. Specials were outlined to us and appetizer orders were taken. Our server was SO helpful in suggested how many. Appetizers were needed to satisfy our party of 16. The amount of food was perfect and delicious. We highly recommend the squash blossoms, the red snapper, and the burrata caprese. Yum!! Our entrees were served hot and fresh and they tasted like a small piece of Italy! The Bolognese was INCREDIBLE. Other favorites included the gnocchi special and the pasta with sausage. What an Italian Gem in the middle of downtown Miami. Food was great and tasty. Service was fantastic. Plates were served in the correct order and the food was still hot. Just wanted to update my review; the restaurant no longer offers happy hour food items, but they still offer $7 wines. They do have some items on the main menu like their pizzas which are reasonable. But I have to admit I, disappointed with their decision to eliminate the bar bites. As of last week they are still not open for dinner. read more

We recently discovered this new Italian cafe in Downtown Miami. It's in right spot with delicious authentic goods. We just popped in for a coffee but could not resist the homemade desserts. I was really lucky with my Nutella tart and got to share a chocolate cake with my friend as well which reminded me of my grandma's. I will be back for a full meal next time. We were dining as a group of 11 people, which proved to be a challenge. First of all, the server needs to take lessons in pouring wine, she was unable to evenly distribute wine . As a result, the last person was drinking from the almost empty glass because the server misjudged the amount. Next, the server had to be reminded to bring olive oil to go with the bread. When customer asked for additional slice of bread, he was refused!!! They count slices of bread there!!! The portions were microscopic, the gnocchi were great but the portion size was smaller that what my cat has for breakfast. We suspect the chef had to halve the portions to accommodate all orders. Bottom line: never again at this place! read more

We must have gone there on a bad day. One of the dishes we ordered was a simple dish of Spaghetti Cacio E Pepe; all 3 of us got our food except the pasta. No apologies, no explanations... waiter barely spoke English. After we had waited 15 min I asked what happened!? He then said: we had an issue and had to start from scratch. But we will give him (only him) a complimentary desert!!!! I wanted to say: are you kidding me? But, didn't... dish finally after 10 more minutes wait, came out. My partner and I recently stumbled upon (no reco) Rosaluna looking for a dinner spot while visiting Miami for the first time. It happened to be a short walk from our Downtown hotel and stood out as warm and inviting amongst the nondescript shops and restaurants surrounding it. From the moment we walked in, it got better and better. The service was excellent. The ambiance was relaxed but chic. And the pasta was possibly the best I've ever had. Check it out. Spread the word.
