We waited 20 minutes just to get menus and water, another 20 minutes to place an order (only to THEN first be told that two of the three dishes we wanted weren't available, then another half hour before we finally went to ask when our food would be coming (answer: "two minutes"), then ANOTHER fifteen minutes before we finally were served COLD and GRISTLY food. What a pleasant surprise! I live across the street from the Arlen Beach Restaurant and haven't been there since the new owners took over about five months ago. I had no idea what I was missing. A caring owner, great FRESHLY PREPARED food and prices that will not rock you like so many places on the Beach. I have found a new dining option and will work my way down the menu over time.
