I visited this location on December 20th. We were seated immediately upon arriving. Our server was nice and service was pretty quick. I ordered a lemon drop but was very disappointed. The drink wasn't well balanced. The fried shrimp basket was amazing. My sister ordered a create your own boil and that was also great and very flavorful. They should explain on the menu that you have to choose two options for the create your own boil. The restaurant was very relaxed and is family friendly. Parking is a bit confusing. There is parking directly in front of the restaurant but it was full when we arrived. There is also additional parking nearby but it was intertwined with what seemed to be a car sales or rental place. We took a chance and parked there anyway and the car was fine when we returned. read more

Came in for lunch with my family on a Sunday afternoon. It was pretty empty when we got there. The inside is in good shape and decorated nicely. We sat at a large booth and were waited on. After a round of drinks came, I ordered a basket of onion rings for a starter and then we ordered for everyone else. We tried to order some lunch items, but they don't do lunch items on the weekend. The menu is a little confusing and has a lot of misspellings. The onion rings are average. Two orders of chicken tenders and fries (ya know... kids). Everything was hot and cooked correctly, but the tenders are bland without a condiment of some sort. Two of the party ordered a 1lb "Get your hands dirty - shrimp (no head) to share which comes with the shrimp and two medium potatoes and a half-ear of corn. I tried the shrimp and found it to be good flavor and easy to peel. I ordered fried scallops with cajun fries. The scallops were alright. The cajun fries were cooked nicely but didn't really taste cajun-y (they were slightly more red than the other fries.) Aside from the shrimp, I think every single thing was frozen. The portion sizes were fine, but aside from the shrimp the flavors were bland. The service was average as well. Overall I came away having eaten but having no reason to ever come back. read more

We ordered 2 batches of boil with everything in them for 7 adults and 4 kids. Everything being clams, mussels, shrimp, crab, scallops, lobster tails, crawfish, sausage and eggs. While visiting St Augustine, I had a craving for seafood. I saw a billboard for this place driving into town and thought I have to try it out! It is a seafood boil type place. I was greeted right away with no wait time. Our server was very friendly and attentive. She was fantastic with my son, who's not a seafood lover yet. I ordered a build your own boil with 1/2 lb of shrimp (no head), 1/2 lb of green mussels and 1/2 lb of sausage. They have different seasons to choose from, such as Cajun, house seasoning and lemon pepper. You can also choose the spiciness level. I went with mild lemon pepper and it did not disappoint! They bring out a waste bucket to put your shells and shrimp skin in as you East, as well as a bib, gloves and hand wipes. Everything was delicious! Would return a thousand times over! read more

The Cajun Crab Hut was absolutely extraordinary! My king crab legs were full or meaty goodness and perfection! Our trip to this destination was one to go, but be aware, the price is $50-$110 a person. Yes they have cheaper options but when you want to go to Cajun Crab Hut, you want to get the boil bags, not the chicken tenders. Our server was an absolute doll! She treated our table of four with care! The theatrics of the wall art inside the restaurant are amazing. The designers of the interior were artist having fun! Went here for Father's Day and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Service was excellent and the food was absolutely delicious. No complaints whatsoever. We started off with the hushpuppy appetizer, served with a homemade yum-yum sauce that complemented them perfectly. We all opted for the combo boils with snow crab legs. Three of us had the lobster tail and shrimp, one had extra snow crab, and I also added in the sausage. You can select the type of sauce you want. I went with the house which combines lemon, garlic, and butter. You also select the degree of hotness (spiciness) and I went with something very spicy. It was an absolutely perfect balance of between heat and flavor, and I loved it. The boils aren't cheap but you do get a lot of food. The shrimp were amazing, the lobster tail tender, and the potato and corn delicious. The sausage I added on, while plentiful, were a little on the salty side and I did not eat all of them as a result. I would not add these on again. Saltiness aside, they were tasty. You get plastic bibs and all the cracking tools to help you on your crab extraction journey. I'm looking forward to going back or even trying a take out. The dishes are served contained in a plastic bag so I imagine it would be easy to take home. The flavors and generous portions really make this a stand-out go-to for boils and crab legs. Be aware they also have king crab legs at market pricing, in case you really want to splurge. We had a giftcard to this local restaurant and the family decided to eat here for dinner. My sister and I arrived first, seated and reviewed the menu. About 8-10 minutes gone by and our server hasn't come by yet. Another server saw us looking around, came over, apologized and he took our drink orders. He let our assigned server know to bring our beverages. Our server arrived with the beverages, apologized and then we ordered the appetizer before our parents arrived: - 12 steamed oysters with the house special sauce mild. The oysters were amazing, great taste and love the garlicky, peppery salty flavor. We enjoyed it and ordered the main courses: - Special Combo C (mild house special sauce) includes 1/2lb each -- blue crab, snow crab, shrimp (no head), sausage, clams - 1lb shrimp (head on), same sauce - 1/2 lb crawfish, same sauce - 1/2 lb scallops, same sauce Overall, the food and service was great. However, near the end of our meal, it was sadly unexpected that our server stopped by his assigned tables (including us) apologizing that it was his last shift at the restaurant. We overheard him say something to the other tables that he overheard the managers or staff saying something unacceptable and he decided to leave promptly. We told the back-up server that our assigned waiter was excellent and they should apologize to him and ask for his return. Unfortunately, it's nothing we could do. We all felt sad because he was so great with us. My dad rushed outside to find him so we could give his tip, but it was already too late he was gone. We do truly hope whatever that made him feel upset to be resolved and returns because we would like to see him again. As you can guess, Seafood-centric Menu with a variety of low country boil, fried, steamed, and other methods of cooking seafood. I think there is a couple of chicken options, and maybe a burger or grilled cheese optionfor the kids. I humbly suggest that no matter what you order, Get there special combo sauce! I think it's a combination of lemon pepper, Old Bay, and cajun seasonings all wrapped in one velvety buttery spicy concoction of hot love and calories! One particularly Nice thing I liked about their menu was that you could a la carte all of the Low Country Boil proteins in 1/2 and 1 lb portions. They all came with the usual corn and potatoes in the boil, but it's really nice to be able to tailor the seafood and sausage options you want, even if you just want a small amount of one meat. The boil was amazing; we also tried the fried catfish which was stellar both on its own and with the aforementioned combo sauce. I forget what sides I had but I ate them all, so they must have been good enough.
