After being out of town in South Dakota for a week and driving more than 20 hours home, all I could think about was fresh shrimp. I decided to try a new spot in town that had been highly recommended. The service was amazing from the moment I walked in. It was pretty quiet, but I believe they had just opened for the day. When I took my first bite, the flavor was incredible. However, on the second bite I noticed the shrimp had become mushy. As someone who cooks often, I understand that things can happen. I brought it to the manager's attention, and he was incredibly accommodating. He apologized, explained that because I didn't eat it until a couple of hours after ordering, leaving it in the bag may have affected the texture, which is completely understandable. Without hesitation, he offered to remake my order. When I got home, I ate the fresh batch right away, and it was exactly what I had been craving. The shrimp was fresh, perfectly cooked, and not mushy at all. I really appreciate how the staff handled the situation. Great customer service can make all the difference, and they went above and beyond to make it right. I'll definitely be back! read more

Absolutely terrible experience. I ordered the Signature 1 boil for takeout and spent around $64 just to receive a half-assed meal. No eggs, no corn, only 4 shrimp, 2 pieces of sausage, and half a crab cluster--then they filled the bag with a ridiculous amount of sauce and huge garlic chunks like that would make up for the missing food. The crab also tasted fishy. When I called, I was offered store credit and $10 off my "next order." There will NOT be a next order. For $64, this was unacceptable. Someone seriously needs to figure out what's going on in that kitchen. read more

As a regular to the Concord location where I live and Vacaville location where I work, the Pittsburg location was extremely disappointing. The take out order lacked in all areas. Gumbo soup was ordered with no rice and mine was sent with rice. Not even the normal rice portion, this had 90% rice. You could see the rice when opening the portion cup. 2 pieces of sausage and shreds of chicken, not the norm. This is supposed to be a soup and mine was not. Their soft shell crab also was baby bite sized pieces and the signature bag was so light! I love this chain but will not be visiting this location unfortunately. read more

Have heard nothing but great things about the Concord location and this restaurant took over the old Chilis, so it's pretty convenient. I pay attention to details when it comes to restaurant remodels and this one seemed to be done quickly. I wished they painted the front doors and other areas where it looks worn down. I was seated pretty quickly and it was a busy Sunday. The service was a little spotty but I'm sure they have to just get used to things. I ordered a diet soda and it took asking about 4 different people to finally get it and thankfully I got it because my order was spicy although I asked it to be mild. I ordered the Signature 1 for $36.99 and it was A LOT of food! I ordered the garlic butter (I think) but it was pretty spicy although I asked for mild. The crab legs were delicious and loads of shrimp. I'll definitely come back but I need to figure out the level of spice because I can't handle it LOL! We had an amazing experience at Cajun Crack'n! The seafood was absolutely delicious, and everything was packed with flavor. The sauce was especially amazing definitely the highlight of the meal. As you can tell by the picture the platter was empty! So so good! Our kids loved the chicken tenders, which made it a win for the whole family. The food also came out pretty quickly, which we really appreciated. A special shoutout to our waiter, Nathan--he was attentive, friendly, and provided great customer service from start to finish. I've gone like 3 weekends already on a Sunday hangover lol and Saturday morning with the kiddos but let me tell you we drive all the way to San Jose thats about an hour for boiling crab but this one is so close to home and delicious. The flavors are there & there hospitality is amazing very good quality & service. Place is clean plus they're opening a bar with a manger bartender that has experience which is very friendly talk to him a couple of times. If you want something close and delicious definitely try this place it's worth it . We ordered 2lb of shrimp and in house sauce and potatoes. We did enjoy our food as well, It was delicious. 0 stars to management though; I had read a previous review on here from someone saying she experienced a rude manager/supervisor mistreating employees. Well, tonight I witnessed it myself. It seemed to be the manager speaking not so nicely to some employees that were arranging a table for a big party. Totally unnecessary and uncalled for. Very disappointed in my visit 5/5/26 around 5:30pm. I have gone to the Concord location quite frequently over the years. I was excited that one was opening in my neighborhood. after my experience won't return to either one. The boil was just bad. The sauce was light water, no flavor at all. Wasn't even hot, we could eat it right then and there, and that was outside the norm. Seems like the seafood they sourced was a little suspect too. I have never seen such huge but pale mussels. One of my muscle had a huge amount of what looked like netting in it. It turned my stomach, I took the rest home and disposed of it. The bar was non functioning, no happy hour menu, the servers looked like the B squad. while my server was nice, he seemed hurried and anxious and it wasn't busy at all. Also the Pepsi was flat, so was the Starry but by then I had had enough and just wanted to leave. I feel disrespected as a Pittsburg resident. Don't set up shop here and serve us mediocre food that pales in comparison to your other locations. I won't be returning and I suggest others take heed and spend their money elsewhere. We were sat immediately. Food was amazing, and the seafood was cleaned well. We were told a 15-20 minute wait but it came before then. We got the house mix sauce with medium heat and it was definitely spicy so I would do the non spicy next time .The restaurant is clean and nice. I really did like the music selection BUT if you have children or do not like EXPLICIT music I can see how this can steer you away. I'd recommend to management to keep the same music just making sure it's clean versions because this is an all ages establishment! He made the experience so great and very homey it was like we were at our kitchen table. Jay was able to upsell us on our meal and rightfully so. Checked in to make sure we had everything we needed, along with his coworker who also helped us with refills when she would walk by. We got our food pretty quickly.
