Ok my daughter loved the food. I ordered prawns and wings. They gave me 4 big prawns and 3 pieces of chicken. Cost was $21. I also ordered a lemonade which was $3.99 and that was hella good. I am so glad that this location is here now. I ordered almost $140 just to try a bunch of dishes that they offer. The red snapper and white fish were my favorite. The fried chicken, my son loved and the french fries were nice and crispy with special seasoning on them. They also have a lemonade with several different flavors you can add to it was a nice touch. But the jambalaya wasn't so much of a hit for me right along with the mac & cheese. I had to go back a week later for the fish combo and the service was good, the guy there was funny with a lot of humor. We love this place. We always get the fried catfish and fries. The catfish is always fresh and crispy. If it is too crispy, you can ask them to fry it softer (which older people enjoy). The tartar sauce and hot sauce are also great. For sides, we like the beans and rice. The cakes are good too - especially the red velvet. Highly recommend. read more

The JJ Fish and Chicken at the new location does not serve the same quality of food from the previous location which is ironic given it's in a way better location. The chicken on the inside was very BLACK with nasty bloody veins that had burst and made it so DISGUSTING to even look at it. It had no taste at all. They also served boneless chicken thigh which I have never had a FRIED chicken thigh and would not have ordered it but it was included in the order without my knowledge. I write this review being a little reserved because it's NEVER my intentions to deter anyone from trying a new business. This is MY experience and I choose to share it. On this day they did not provide good service. I spent $30 and it went all in the trash. I don't ask for refunds or replacement food I either choose to not patronize a business or I may give it a second try and hope for a better experience. But this was not what I had looked forward too.
