Not that fake "hi welcome in" energy . She actually made you feel like you were supposed to be there. I did my research before going so we passed on the catfish (the reviews on that were not it). Instead I got the Large Garlic Noodles, Chicken & Sausage Rasta Pasta, and the Crawfish & Sausage Mac N Cheese. All three were hitting. Like actually good, not just hype good. After the food came I decided to try the watermelon lemonade and that was a solid decision. Not too sweet, really refreshing. For dessert we grabbed the Peach Cobbler out of the display case. What a terrible experience. Ended up throwing away $100 worth of food. The fried fish was rubbery, chewy and overcooked. The chicken wings were dry and chewy and felt like a bomb of salt exploded in your mouth. The chicken sandwich was dry as well and just lacked anything resembling a Nashville hot sandwich. No powdered sugar but it tasted exactly like a churro! The crawfish Mac n cheese with sausage was not skimpy at all. The yams were cut differently for me but could replace most of my families yams!! U order from a kiosk but she made sure to say hi from the back and smile. Her energy is everything. The blended drinks wasn't good too artificial for me but I appreciate the options here seriously. Could maybe replace the syrups with maybe a small company that makes them. We had the mango flavor and it stayed in my mouth. This was my second visit. The $26 lobster mac n cheese was previously individually baked and served in a 9" pie tin. Now it is just scooped out of a large batch and dumped into a much smaller container. About 1/3 of the volume and lacking the density and cheese crust of the original. Stumble on this place in downtown Antioch . My granddaughter was chasing the bubbles at the corner and I seen this place and if I really like somewhere, I always try to give it a good review. This one is definitely five star . If you're gonna get some wings, this is the place. The wings had so much meat on them better than any other wing place that I've been to around this area. It was well-seasoned with a nice hint of heat, though I wished for just a bit more spice. The portion was adequate for sharing, and the sides were delicious--though we would have loved a larger serving of Mac and cheese as well as the Brussels sprouts. The seafood platter was excellent, with each piece perfectly coated in cornmeal and crispy. We also tried the peach cobbler, but it was less enjoyable. The cinnamon was a bit overpowering, and the pastry dough could have benefited from a few more minutes in the oven. Additionally, the peach-to-pastry ratio felt a bit off. As a pastry chef, I typically refrain from voicing my opinions in reviews, but I share my thoughts in hopes that my next experience will be significantly better. A great find. As far as I understand, they just opened up last year. There really isn't any indoor seating here, they do have a few chairs and tables outside along the sidewalk, but this is mainly a takeout place. Best to order online, they said they don't take phone orders. Plan for about a 30 minute wait if you decide to drop by and order in person. They only allow 1 person in the place at a time when ordering too. Next time I'll order online ahead of time. They do have desserts by the slice too. Bestie and I came here yesterday (4/9/21) and we were greeted by Joseph who was very pleasant, extremely patient with this being our first time and gave us info and recommendations from the menu. We shared shrimp and fries, upgraded to garlic fries ($2 WORTH IT) okay, the shrimp was HOT and fried to perfection definitely weren't overcooked and they aren't serving the baby shrimp either.
