Greek salad and gumbo. Huge shrimp

Been driving past here for years. The outside was not enticing but after reading 5 star reviews ate here today. Very good! Greek salad and gumbo for $10.99 lunch specials.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Very chill atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Clean bathrooms.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Joshua was our service and he was attentive and helpful. The boudin balls were spicy and flavorful (8/10). The shrimp scampi fondue was SUPERB!! Buttery, cheesy, garlicky. 10/10!! The boiled crawfish and crab were a little hard to crack but had good flavor (7/10). We added a Grand Marnier floater to our margaritas and they were good as well

Might be my new favorite spot for dinner on the island. An impressive variety of seafood and Cajun-style boils are the stars of the menu but they really have something for everyone. We loved the Tzatziki appetizer with pita bread and olives - delicious! We then devoured the whole blacked redfish -expertly prepared and so flavorful! The prices were reasonable for seafood and the drink prices were great! Lots of fun drinks to choose from on the bar menu. I loved the coconut margarita. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is definitely a go-to for locals and can get a little crowded but it is worth it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Love the casual atmosphere, friendly service, and of course, the seafood.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Just missed lunch specials but shared a combo plate. Catfish & shrimp. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Service was good and other than too loud music the decor was Oceanside chic.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Food was below par fried items over cooked and grease tasted old. They replaced shrimp with even older tasting fish. Unfortunately as we usually love this place

We decided to try Cajun Greek because we were craving catfish, and the reviews sounded too good to pass up. They definitely delivered, the quality matched everything we read in other reviews. Our server, Abraham, was friendly, welcoming, and informative, which made the experience even better. We ordered the fried flounder, the gyro with catfish, and a kids' catfish meal. Everything came out hot, fresh, and flavorful, well worth the visit. We'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu!

This was a review of my visit earlier this month on July 4th weekend. I was with my family to celebrate the weekend and day off from work. We were around the area and tried to think of where to eat. After a couple of minutes of searching, I decided to pick Cajun Greek. Cajun Greek is located on a fairly busy area and parking is available in the front but also in the back. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Walking in the restaurant is very nice. It gave me a nice local vibe and a sense of a homey feel to it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The menu is a nice mix of items: seafood and Mediterranean dishes. I went against my personal rule of sticking to the seafood at seafood restaurants and picked the beef shawarma. The shawarma is on this nice pita, nicely loaded up with beef, the fries are seasoned and crispy, and the sauce on the side is this nice mustard based flavor that went well with everything plus the side banana peppers/olives. Overall I enjoyed the choice of picking Cajun Greek. The food is good, service was nice plus our server was very attentive checking in on us often and it was solid. There are a nice amount of options on the menu to choose from and the prices are very fair. Not anything to complain about but I know others may not like the banana peppers or olives but I think it went well with the shawarma. The shawarma will also have the sauce included inside the pita. I would like to come back again for another visit and this time go with the seafood options.

Great place no frills, casual, great food! This is our old stomping ground had not been in a while! Service is always outstanding here we sit at the bar, we got there at 3:00pm just in time for the winter happy hour. 3-6pm. I had the crab bisque, my companion had the gumbo, we shared their delicious Boudin ball's and the feta tzatziki plate. Our friends shared a big delicious crab cake. Great time to visit to try their holiday drink specials. Everything was fantastic and of course we will be back!

Cajun Greek in Galveston, Texas is a must-visit! We tried their Big Bowl Boil, which comes loaded with fresh seafood and snapper, and it was absolutely amazing. Every bite was packed with flavor, perfectly seasoned, and the portions were generous. The experience was so good that we had to come back for more. Whether you're a seafood lover or just looking for a great meal, this place won't disappoint!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Great, casual place that is on every Best of Gavelston list and deservedly so.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Like others, I compared this with Katie's, which I had a few days ago and I liked Cajun Greek much, much more. The peel and eat shrimp was delicious. Surprisingly, the ribeye steak, I thought was a great value! Perfectly cooked. The gulf shrimps and hush puppies were excellent as well. The one negative is that their wine list is not good at all (all cheap wines) and there's no BYOB. Service was friendly.

Sat at bar and was quickly greeted. Ordered crab bisque as an appetizer, iIt was good. For main course, had the beef schwarma, it was good as well. Menu had many options to choose from. On the short list when in town.

This place was recommended by a local while on vacation and the food was absolutely amazing! I had the Greek tzatziki plate and the peel off spicy shrimp that were cooked in a lovely spicy creamy sauce! I would highly recommend to go to this place and I would definitely return! The bartender was also super friendly and accommodating!

Love coming to this place! Our first stop every time we are in Galveston. Great food. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Pleasant ambiance, quiet enough to have a conversation but music is loud enough to still enjoy it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

The biggest issue was that everything we ordered was extremely salty. If the seasoning were dialed back a bit, the food would have been excellent. The portions were very generous. The muffuletta was huge and packed with flavor. The burger was also good, although it was so large and messy that it was a challenge to eat. The onion rings were perfectly cooked--crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Despite the saltiness, the quality of the food and the portion sizes made for an enjoyable meal.

I've never had such bland food in my life…read more Place was fairly busy. It's a Friday night so that makes sense. But there's only one server. I ordered the crawfish platter. It comes with etouffee and fried crawfish. There was no spice. No salt. The food tasted the same as the plain white rice that accompanied the etouffee. I'm not exaggerating when I say this was literally the least flavorful food I've *ever* had. Plain toast has more flavor. My husband ordered oysters and fried mushrooms. They brought out the mushrooms which were also flavorless. Extremely bland. No salt, no nothing. After 20 minutes we asked where the oysters were. They were never put through. We opted to just get the check and leave. The experience was already so disappointing that we weren't about to waste money on more of the same. Even my water came out warmer than room temperature. I have no idea how this place is in business honestly. There's so much competition out there and I'm sure they season their batter. I would never return here and absolutely wouldn't recommend it either. I can't find anything positive about our experience.

I always appreciate when staff is excited about specific plates. The trip was dynamite. The sauce was TOO GOOD. Like, we wanted to drink what was left. 5 stars just for that. My wife loved the oysters. The lobster roll had quite a bit of lobster in it. Super buttery and filling. Solid fries. This was a very pleasant stop on our trip.

Our lunch was absolutely delicious. Here's the rundown: 1 appetizer of ahi tuna won-ton, 2 raw oyster samplers, 2 Galveston Island Brewing blondes, 1 dirty gin martini with blue cheese stuffed olives, and one to-go bottle of Cat Five hot sauce. I am not a huge fan of tuna, but this ahi/poke style of tuna with actual umami flavor elevates a mild sushi gateway fish to something yummy. The oysters were a delight. Shucks has a color coded system in place to help you identify which oysters are which, but my tired old eyes can't seem to make their system work. I did have two favorite kinds but could not tell you what they were. No matter, they were all superior - and small like east coast/ Canadian bivalves are. Dan's beer was tasty and swillable and my martini was appropriately dirty. We got the hot sauce because you can never have enough condiments and cats were referenced in its name. Our server was friendly and efficient. Interesting to me, I was mildly making fun of their music selection and soon after it changed. Coincidence? Dunno, but I appreciated the change to Motown! Bottom line. So, so enjoyable and something we don't do too often these days. It was an expensive meal, but worth the splurge.
