Supreme Crab Seafood Buffet is located right across from the pier. There's a sign outside, and stairs lead you up to the buffet. It's very inexpensive but unfortunately this was a "you get what you pay for" experience. It was busy during our visit, and there were plenty of options to choose from, including a salad bar. My favorite were the clam chowder and salmon. Besides those two, I was hesitant about a lot of the food. Some items seemed to be moving and replaced more often than others. The crab legs were extremely soft and difficult to crack open, so I didn't bother eating them. My friend also described some items as tasting "airy," almost like they had been sitting uncovered in the refrigerator. I skipped seconds and went for dessert. As I reached for some of the items, multiple gnats flew up. That was enough for me! The ambiance is casual and the buffet area looks decent but cleanliness was a major issue. Before leaving, I used the restroom and every stall I checked was dirty. The price is cheap and the selection is okay but between the food quality and cleanliness, the value just wasn't there for me. I ordered from this restaurant on Uber Eats because it carried a high rating. I ordered the garlic pasta and the fish and chips. The fries were ancient. Look at the picture. They sent a paying customer food that no employee in that kitchen would ever put in their own mouth -- food they would never dare serve to their own family. The fish had flavor, yes -- but several pieces left a fishy aftertaste that betrayed the truth: they were not fresh. The garlic pasta was merely average. I will never eat there again. I urge you not to either. Any restaurant willing to send stale, tired food out the door to a paying stranger has already shown you exactly who they are. They lack integrity. read more

The view of the bay is absolutely amazing. Unfortunately, that's the only thing about this place I'd recommend. The crab legs weren't anything to brag about, but that's not why I'm leaving this review. My girlfriend took off her rings while eating and set them on the table. We were the last people in the restaurant, and as we walked out, we watched an employee cleaning off our table after the restaurant had already closed. We realized the rings were missing almost immediately after driving away, contacted the restaurant, and went back the very next day. Instead of honesty, we got excuses and conflicting stories. We were told someone else must have taken them, even though the restaurant was already closed, there were no other customers there, and we personally watched our table being cleaned after we left. Based on everything that happened, I believe her rings were stolen. In my opinion, that's exactly what thieves do. If your employees can't be trusted to turn in expensive jewelry left behind by the last customers of the night, I can't trust your business either. Me and my boyfriend went to grab dinner here, it's small, assuming, but clean, food comes out slow and we waited on crab the majority of our visit, we got a total of two plates of grab in the 2 hours we were there 1/5, they only have plastic cutlery 1/5, and they never cleaned our tables while we were there despite the place being empty, 0/5. The food is okay for a buffet but... We were the last customers in the store, they were cleaning the table as we were walking out. I had taken off my rings to eat crab and left them on the table. I called them and they did not answer (because they were closing), so I showed up the next morning before they opened and they told us that they had to contact their other staff, and they would get back to us. I've contacted them multiple times and still have not heard anything back, but the gentleman I spoke with was acting suspiciously when I asked about the jewelry by claiming somebody else must've stolen it, but we were the only ones there and they were cleaning the table as we were leaving. The quality of the food is sub par, particularly the salmon, I was unable To eat it. The ice cream station was self serve with a scoop which is shared by other diners, this idea in itself is gross. The men's room had an out of order urinal and the cleanliness was sub par. If you only want to eat crab legs and don't particularly care about any of the other food options or overall vibe, this could be done for lunch. read more

A group of French tourists were sitting at the booth across from me & all I could think was, these unfortunate people are going to have a horrible impression of San Francisco's food scene. Supreme Crab Seafood Buffet is a poor representation of the seafood & Chinese cuisine the city is known for, & I wish tourists realized that. The restaurant is located on the second floor. As we ascended the steps, a god-awful stench hit me in the face. Their tables aren't properly cleaned between guests; there were food particles everywhere. I had a few shrimp scampi & prayed it was fresh. I felt like I was playing with my health eating here. My lunch companion thought the crab legs were fine, but commented on the overall poor quality of their offerings. Small selection of desserts that can be found at a Chinese bakery. Fried section consisted of onion rings, fish filets that tasted of old oil, nuggets, fries, & potstickers. Their corn & potatoes were sitting in a sauce similar to Boiling Crab's but was sour & off-putting. $35.99 per person. Drinks come in cans so no refills. Skip, skip, skip. Not much to say. This used to be a crab shack from what I remember years ago. The service and food is by far lacking in so many categories. The workers were pretty much to themselves. The food laid out didn't look fresh and not much taste. The only things I probably liked was the garlic bread, baked mussels, and sesame balls. The place wasn't as clean as it should be. It was a weekday and maybe 5 other small parties there. I've been to the one in Redwood City and this place is nothing close to how the other location is. I went here with friends because we saw a post about it, and we LOVE seafood, so why not? and so glad we did! The restaurant itself is located on the second floor and is really easy to miss because the sign is very small. The interior is nice and clean. Employees were nice. The food was great and for $35.99 with unlimited shrimp, crab legs, mussels, clams, baked salmon, and on top of other American food, CAN'T BEAT THAT!! When I first walked in, I was struck by how dirty the glass entryway was before going upstairs. A fly was buzzing around my face right at the start. As I climbed the stairs, the smell was off-putting. Once I entered the buffet area, it got worse. One buffet table was even propped up by a dirty rag. The booths had food splattered inside and out, and none of the windows were clean. Even the napkin dispensers looked grimy. The food safety was concerning. The food in the chafers weren't hot, It didn't feel like safe temperatures were maintained at all. I ordered a glass of red wine, and even the glass was dirty. Frankly, I couldn't believe this place would pass a health inspection. I was genuinely worried about getting sick. I stuck to salad and strawberries, 1 tried the shrimp but it was mushy and unpleasant. It's unbelievable how much this buffet cost for what we got absolutely NOT worth the money. Was disappointed. $30 all you can eat crab. Nice concept. Crab had flavor but hard to eat, extremely messy. My wife who loves crab only had one helping. The place has concrete floors. It seemed clean? The spring rolls were at the end of the warming trays on the shelf so enjoy cool food. The clam chowder was actually good. But the rest of the food was not hot, more warmish. Went here for the first time and I was disappointed and will not go again. The cleanliness was not good. At all. Almost $50/person and it was lackluster. Ambiance was eh. Just dirty everywhere. The lady at the bar seemed annoyed that we asked for water instead of buying drinks. They have a soda fountain but it was closed. When they ask if you want a drink with your meal and you want a soda, they say it's not refillable. So you're gonna have to pay for a new one every time. The men's restroom was beyond filthy. 1/2 sinks work. 2 stalls work and the urinal was closed off. The floor was so nasty it was slippery in there. That whole place needs to shut down for a week to deep clean and replace what needs to get fixed. The party room just looked a mess also and the food wasn't good. If you're coming for strictly crab you will be disappointed. They bring out crab every 20-30 min and once they do they only bring a portion big enough for 2-3 people and it's gone. Then you have to wait again. Go try it and give them the benefit of the doubt if you want. I asked why they bring out so little crab and so far apart and he said because the bucket we cook it in is that size we bring out. I said well you guys need to buy more than one bucket. I love this place especially after running a full marathon! They have soups, crabs, baked salmon, clams, mussels, ribs, steamed and fried rice, and a broad array of food. I always go back to this and invite friends who love it as much as I do! However, the bathroom needs to be fixed: need am to fix the door knob and the soap dispenser is broken and off the wall. All you can eat crab, mussels, garlic noodles, full bar and so much more. Beautiful views, large TV, no rushing you out and they play great music to keep you entertained. The price is really good for SF - all you can eat for 32.99 per person for a variety of seafood, dumplings (limited options), soup (miso and clam chowder), and ice cream. Drinks are separate but should only be 2-3$. The crab tasted pretty fresh, make sure to ask for the crab opener at the front to open the crab legs easier. There's also a lot of good sauces near the front by the ice cream station. Once you head up the stairs you walk into a beautiful view of the pier and boardwalk, the buffet was kept full and hot and the food tasted fresh and delicious! They do not pick up the phone!! I may have dropped an item that is important to me when I dined there last night and did not realize until they were already closed. I've been trying to call the restaurant all day to see if it's there, however their line just keeps ringing and ringing and no one picks up despite the fact that they are "open". As a business, you should pick up the phone, otherwise why have a phone line? I've even tried messaging them on Instagram but didn't receive a response. There is no way to contact this restaurant, so don't even bother. Giving them a star because we did enjoy our meal last night and you can't beat the price of $32.99 for AYCE crab legs, shrimp, oysters, clams, etc. The restaurant was pretty empty but there was virtually no service. Now with that being said the food was great the crab was not spicy and had a awesome taste everything was good they had a variety crab, shrimp,clams, mussels, oysters ,crawdads , fish and chicken wings , ribs and then garlic noodles rice then salad area and fruit and some American food they kept it stocked it was a good variety for everyone . We happened to pass this place as we were looking for a meal on our way back from touring. The place was unassuming, just a little doorway off the sidewalk. Luckily we went in and asked if we could look around before deciding. Don't let the outside fool you. The buffet was upstairs and it was fully loaded. We had crabs, shrimp, fish, chicken wings, potatoes, corn and different kinds of fish, baked fish. The shrimp were huge, 16/20 at least, the crabs were meaty. The price was good at 29.00 each which is why we wanted to see if they had a good selection. The place was not busy on a Sunday evening but there were several groups. Too bad we didn't see the 10.00 off coupon in the map we got from the hotel. The drinks were canned which was fine, no refills though. Definitely recommend. read more
