    Pandan matcha

Cake Bar - The Cafe is an adorable stop in downtown Syracuse. The interior is really modern, inviting, and has gentle music playing. There is always a pleasant vibe to it and often there are people chatting or working on laptops. Employees are always really nice. I really enjoy the Pandan Matcha. Its so hard to find pandan drinks in the area! I find the drinks are often really sweet and so its important to order them with no sugar or less sugar. The boba is okay although the straws they have been using lately are too small for them so they lose some of the shape and correct texture. A random thing I love about their drinks are they used a crushed ice, it makes it feel appropriately portioned to the drink itself. Although I am not a coffee person, the cafe lattes are my partner's favorite in the area and they are highly customizable. It's also nice that they offer a carrier when you have a few drinks to-go. Interestingly, the cake and desserts are the weaker part for me for Cake Bar. They are often pretty dry for my tastes. My favorite has been the potato chip cookies, but I have only seen them a few times. The chicken wing dip buns are pretty good and filling though and are worth trying! Overall its a great stop and a nice place to bring friends when they stop by or to hang out whilst doing some work.

Lovely space. The caramel apple cheesecake was amazing but a bit pricey at $12. The almond croissant was a little disappointing as it wasn't as flaky/crisp as I'd like

Food is pretty tasty, servers help you with your order promptly, and it is absolutely gorgeous and such a fun spot to take friends or have a cute dessert/sweets/drinks date. My absolute favorite drink is their toasted coconut taro milk tea.

I always have a great experience here. The employees are friendly and helpful and the desserts are delicious. It is a very fun place to sit and relax. I get something different each time I come. Today I had the Taro Espresso Iced. I really enjoyed this one mainly because it wasn't super sweet. The taro was a nice combination with the smooth espresso. The Peach Pecan Pie was sweet and delicious with fresh peaches, flaky crust and pecans on top.

I got a Cinnabon iced coffee and a bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. Both which were amazing. The coffee was probably one of the best I had in awhile. The service was good, staff was polite and the wait was minimal. The store was nice, quiet and well kept as well as clean. I will def return.

I've been to Cake Bar now a few times and each time I am impressed at the quality of the food, the friendly service and time it takes to order food but also the service of the food. I appreciate the decor and the restaurant ambiance! They've decorated for winter themed, but I recently visited when they decorated for Christmas! I also love the location of Cake Bar as well. Easily accessible.

Chicken Pot Pie and Vietnamese Coffee

Cake Bar is a gem that deserves five stars just for their incredible chicken pot pie. Flaky, savory perfection! The Vietnamese coffee is pretty solid, didn't taste quite authentic but close enough. The cafe itself is spacious and cozy, it's a great spot to study or work with plenty of room to spread out. Parking is a hassle in this area but that is no fault of the cafe. Staff is always hustling making drinks so don't expect warm welcomes every time. I've run into issues with availability of chicken pot pie. I've struck out the first three times I went trying get one, they're always either sold out or not on the menu. More consistent stock please!

Always such a pleasant place. Staff is so friendly. Sandy is the best. Had to try the Bacon Egg Lettuce and Tomato Bagel sandwich with a Vietnamese coffee. Very tasty.

They've updated their menu (see pics). The chocolate chip sandwich cookie is now $5.75 and was a little tinier this time vs previous visits. Polite staff, quick service, tasty treats.

I finally made it to cake bar during winterfest and dropped in during the rosenco permanent jewelry pop up shop. Such a cute place and very lively with lots of groups meeting up there. I wanted to try the winterfest special but they were out of the coffee so I got their new Dubai latte and bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. Everything was delicious and I loved the toppings. The sandwich was good, I got it on a croissant and immediately ate it needed it before work. I will definitely be back to try more and especially their cakes and desserts.

I came here by chance because I got a gift card from somebody. I have to say their chicken pot pie with a puff pastry crust was literally the best pot pie I've ever tried. (don't let my mom read this review.) it's visually stunning and incredibly tasty. I will be back.

toasted coconut iced coffee and valentines tea special

This might be my new favorite cafe - they have everything you could think of! I tried the Vietnamese iced coffee and the toasted coconut iced coffee and both delicious, bonus points for the adorable heart shaped straw!! The entire cafe is decorated with such thought for valentine's day and looks so pretty - I hope to see it decorated throughout all seasons and holidays! The baristas are super sweet and the crafts/gift area has such fun and cute items, I couldn't leave without buying a crochet flower.. This might become a weekly visit.

Everytime I come here, I feel so cozy (even when I'm getting my work done). The cake bar is a great place to come and experience great drinks and yummy desserts (that are FANCY)! Even when it's busy, there's a lot of seating inside. Staff is friendly and helpful with the menu. Drinks are on the pricier side, but are definitely worth it!

Cappuccino was great. Disappointed in the spinach croissant tho. Good taste, but very little filling, mostly air.

It was about 1.5 miles from my hotel stay in Syracuse. Upon entry (see the pics), you can tell it is a business that distributes the doughnuts out. The back of the store is busy with guys packing and wheeling loads in and out of business vehicles. I ordered six doughnuts. I chose glazed and cinnamon and then told the clerk to finish it off. There was no drinks or coffee, other than skim milk, which I got. It was good because it was freezing cold. Doughnut places in Mass like to charge 2 or 3 dollars per doughnut. This was not the case at Harrison Bakery. After I entered, it seemed like the place got really busy. When I returned to my car, there were alot of vehicles in the lot than when I arrived. Price: Cheap Vibe: Friendly Service: Great...3 employees ready to take orders Parking: Plenty Would I return: Yes, I hope to when I come back for Notre Dame Football weekend vs. Syracuse weekend in November '26.

I'm not a bubble tea fan, so I can't speak to that, but I do quite enjoy their ramen bowls and have had them on multiple occasions. The standout for me is the miso base with chicken. The broth is piping hot, the green onion flavor is awesome, and it's a chock full of ingredients. The interior is unique with big, open windows and some funky booths. My main complaint here is that service tends to be a bit slow. I'd recommend ordering ahead of time and then eating there once you pick it up or just doing take out. Ordering through the counter can take awhile, even if it's quiet in there. Happy to continue to support them!

The place was totally empty when we walked in and outside of 1 Uber Eats order we were it 4:30 PN. But, it still took 15 minutes for two bowls of ramen and one rice bowl to be ready. Our meals were good but not worth the drive from Marcellus. I've had worse and I've had better bowls of ramen. The stock was good but it was lacking any real depth of flavor and seemed to be singular in tone and lacked any real silky rich mouth feel. Nothing that would warrant a wave off, but nothing significant enough for a book mark. We all like what we like, but for me this was an average experience.
