Those were the Two-tone footer coffee stout and the Mountain Red Ale. However, we did find a few we liked. My wife had two of the Mustachio Porters, while I had one Oaked-o Bier Marzen and one Mustachio Porter. They were both delicious. I also liked the 5-hole Canadian Lager. Neither of us cared for the Powder-Stache Porter as much. Service was much friendlier than last time too, and they were busier with a friendlier crowd as well. We'll definitely be back next time through Silverthorne.

Not a stellar start, but shit happens in the restaurant industry. My rating--I ordered a steak which was good but slightly over-cooked for my tastes and their unfortunately minimal beer selection. I don't like IPAs and that was really the only option for "lighter" beers. I'm sure they'll get things sorted out and when they do, I'll give them another chance.

They have an awesome location with a stunning modern build and plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the fresh mountain air. It is wild to think that we just visited their sister location in the French Alps during our recent European travels. The fact that they can maintain total excellence across two different continents is unreal. The two spots are completely equal, and the Colorado taproom continues to prove why they are world-class. The beers were spectacular as always. We started out with a couple of pints of their New England-style juice. In the Steep is a masterclass in the style with a beautiful, pillowy mouthfeel and heavy tropical notes. Sun in the Clouds was just as impressive. It delivers those bright citrus flavors without the aggressive hop bitterness. I even noticed Cross Flow on the tap list, which is a fresh, hazy collaboration they just put out with Casey Brewing. Before packing back into the truck, we made sure to grab a new metal tacker to hang up in the garage. We also snagged a four-pack of Lil John Wayne. The can art is easily the funniest label on the shelf, but the actual beer is a solid ten out of ten. To fuel the final stretch of the drive home, we ordered from Bird Craft right inside the brewery. They do not cut corners here. They are frying up full wings, including the drummies and the flippers, and they will toss them in any of their house sauces for an incredible snack. The skin stays remarkably crispy even under a thick coat of sauce, and the meat stays perfectly juicy. It is exactly the kind of savory comfort food you need after a long road trip. Every single time we stop by this place, they manage to completely knock it out of the park.

The bacon was barely chewable and had no flavor as well. It came with a side salad. My fiancé ordered this cooked medium. The sides were cooked fine, but the inside looked like ground beef you'd see in the raw meat aisle at a grocery store. He was unable to eat any of the middle of the burger because of this. Now we would've complained about the burger because this was health hazard undercooked inside, but our waitress never returned to ask how our food was until our food was long gone. No water refills so we refilled our own glasses with my reusable water bottle. No bill until literally 30 minutes after we asked her (and this was long after we were trying to figure out why she was not coming back to our table). It was a bummer because she was very nice, but we got no actual service from her.
