We came in on a Friday night and were instantly greeted by a live saxophone player--it completely set the perfect vibe for the evening! Our waitress, Nyla, was incredible. She was so sweet, personable, and friendly, and every single one of her food and drink recommendations was absolutely on point. The food itself was delicious; the meat in our dishes was incredibly tender, flavorful, and literally falling off the bone. To top off the great meal, the service was wonderfully attentive. Multiple staff members stepped up to check on us and ensure we were enjoying everything. I love that they have live entertainment from Friday to Sunday. It was a fantastic first-time experience, and we will definitely be back!
We found this restaurant about a year ago, and discovering it was the best thing ever! We absolutely love coming here. The atmosphere is amazing, the food is beyond delicious, and every visit feels special. The restaurant is always so clean, welcoming, and beautifully decorated. We love the cultural vibe throughout the space and the décor makes the whole experience feel unique, authentic, warm, and inviting. As a Latino family, we truly love the food here. Every dish is full of flavor and always leaves us wanting more. If you've never tried African kitchen food before, this is absolutely the spot! Take the chance I promise you won't regret it, and you'll definitely be coming back for more. PS: We're going to miss Nyla--she is so sweet and kind--but honestly, you can't go wrong with any of the servers here. They all go above and beyond every single time. We're so happy we found this place and are customers for life!
We had a great experience on Saturday evening. Live music was playing and the atmosphere was fantastic. Kombeh was our waiter and was so friendly and attentive. We started with the black eyed pea fritters which were so soft inside and crispy on the outside. The black eyed pea dipping sauce was spicy but flavorful. The peanut butter stew was the star. Super flavorful and comforting. The Chicken was well seasoned and tender. The egusi was new to us. It has a nutty flavor and is sort of the texture of a tofu scramble. It was very spicy. Overall great time and food! We will be back.
Calabash African Kitchen offers West African Style Food and Drinks. If you are a foodie you most definitely want to try this restaurant because the food really is delicious. Also the chef is James Beard Nominated for "Best Chef SW." Inside is a modern sleek decor. You can sit at the bar or a comfortable table. For my beverage I tried a Kenyan Black Tea. It's a very rich Black Tea unlike any tea I've had before and was interesting. For an appetizer we tried the Fataya Pies (vegetarian empanadas). They had amazing flavors to them and came with a tasty kinda spicy red sauce. They were delicious! The pastry on them was also very thin but also held everything nicely together. They didn't seem heavy at all. We shared the fried Red Snapper and the famous Jollof Rice with Chicken. Both platters had amazing flavors to them. I thought I knew Jollof Rice because I have had it at other African Restaurants but the Jollof Rice Here really is truly amazing with layers of flavors unlike the others I've tried. Both dishes tasted great but the chicken had more going on with it than the fish. The only reason I didn't give FIVE stars is because both the fish and the chicken were both slightly dry and overcooked. I didn't feel the need to complain. The dishes weren't bad enough to send back. The people serving us were both pleasant and helpful. We plan to return and try more!
This is another review where I'm still sitting in the restaurant while I write this out. Everything has been absolutely amazing. This was our first time here and they were very patient and accommodating to us. They explained all their popular items, went over their favorites, and even gave us samples of their popular stew items. We got the following: A seafood empanada A beef empanada Red stew with lamb and jollof rice Okra stew with chicken and fufu Hibiscus juice Baobab juice Everything came out to around $82, which I feel is very fair since we brought home a good amount of leftovers too. The restaurant is spotless. They have a cute bar area. They play music videos on the TV and it's been a great vibe. They have live music on some nights too. We're already planning our next visit, hoping to try the grilled meats or their red snapper next time!
This was my first time trying African food and it did not disappoint. I have wanted to try fufu. While I was visiting a friend in Las Vegas l, I suggested this place as a we both love food and trying new places together. The restaurant is clean, nicely decorated and staff was friendly. I was torn between two items. The Egusi and the Peanut Butter Stew. The host/ waitress suggested the Peanut Butter Stew so I ordered it with chicken. You can choose your choice of protein (chicken, beef, fish, lamb, or goat for a surcharge) or leave it vegetarian. My friend ordered the Red Stew with lamb. You get a choice of one side to eat with your meal: Fufu, white rice, fonio, or Jollof rice (+$4). We both opted for fufu and I ordered an additional side of white rice. I wanted to try the Jollof Rice, and kind of kicking myself for not. Just means I have to come back on my next trip to Vegas. The fufu was unlike anything I have had before. It's like a malleable dough that tastes like mashed potatoes. You break off a piece and use it to scoop/ eat your soup or stew. The peanut butter stew was delicious, but I did not get a peanut butter taste. The consistency and complex flavors in the stew remind me of a curry, which is probably why I enjoyed it. The restaurant is located in corner strip mall. Parking was easy, good service and the food was delicious so I would definitely come back and recommend it to others.
This was my first experience with Senegambian food and now I can't wait to try more. I was able to taste the peanut butter stew, red stew, and egusi. I loved the red stew with vegetables. The vegetable variety was great, my stew was filled with eggplant, carrots, cassava, cabbage, and potato. The fufu was perfect with the tomatoey goodness. My husband enjoyed the peanut butter stew that was nutty and aromatic. He liked the beef in it too. Everything was seasoned so well. Both dishes were very filling and we left satisfied. I will be back to try more of the menu, maybe on a weekend to enjoy the live music!
Excellent! We had the red stew, black eye peas, and jollof rice. Everything was perfectly spiced and very filling. The dining room is spacious and comfortable. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and can recommend the perfect dish! The night we were there, there was live music - a wonderfully take eyed saxophone player.
We got the Egusi & Okra Soup, and of course we had to try the fufu! Both amazing! Our waitress was the sweetest and most attentive person. She made sure to get us samples or 10 dishes to try so we can better order. Clean environment, friendly staff, and great vibes! They also had a DJ On Sundays.
Calabash has been on my list forever! I am beyond happy that my family and i were able try. Everyone was amazing, friendly, and attentive. The restaurant is very clean and roomy. Really loved the vibe, energy, and music of the restaurant. Now, let's talk about the food! My 10 year old ordered; Jollof Rice "Cheb / Benachin" with beef. My significant other ordered; Peanut Butter Stew "Mafe / Domoda" with lamb & fufu I ordered; Red Stew "Chu" with beef and fufu Everything was 10000000/10! The amount of flavor, tenderness of the meats.. oh my goodness. I am salivating just thinking about the food. Perfect amount of spice, heat, and temperature! We really enjoyed our food and got to try each others. I cannot wait to come back and try the oxtail with fufu! My significant other and i completely demolished our food. Our waiter asked if we needed a box, nah girl, we ate everything up! We didn't feel heavy or anything either but our tummy was just good enough. My son says this is his new favorite restaurant and we couldn't agree more. I'll be back very soon. BEAUTIFUL restaurant. Amazing music, even more amazing live music. The service was so good the waitress who helped us was so kind and knowledgeable. She made us feel at home. The food was PHENOMENAL. I ordered the Okra stew with fufu and a side of jollof rice. The spice was perfect, the meal was so homely. It made me feel so much gratitude for life. I can't say enough about how delicious the food is here. Omigoodness it's amazing. I was reluctant because I don't eat meat and I was wondering if the meatless options wouldn't be as good. I tried the black-eyed pea stew...omigoodness it was so good! I have only had black-eyed peas one other time where it was really good, these really changed my mind on those. The stew had a lot of vegetables and spices and the plantains were a great sweet contrast to spices in the stew. My friend ordered the jollof rice with chicken and beef and the portions are so huge! She said it was so good she couldn't stop eating it. The restaurant was busy and they seemed under staffed but they all worked together to take care of the customers. Our server was Ne Ne, and she was so nice and had some great conversation. I thought the food was Nigerian and she told me *in a polite way* it was Gambian and told me the difference although it is still west African cuisine. The restaurant was clean and the mural was a nice touch to the restaurant. I like that they also have a DJ playing Afro beats. It definitely created a vibe. Yummy yummy packed with flavor from excellent seasoning and fermentation throughout the dishes. We have had this place earlier this year in the winter and have obviously returned. We were offered the soup and stew samplers and i knew what I was ordering on my third visit (the next day). The okra and Egusi were amazinggg. My boyfriend had the empanadas in which he crushed. I had the snapper and it was so well seasoned ugh i can still taste it. I opted for the Fried Red Snapper with the fermented grain side. So so good. The little tomato and onion side and the sauce is quite spicy but it goes with the grain and that tones it down. The fish had perfect crunch and temperature Customer service is always great. The chef came out to check on our enjoyment and if we were truly experiencing the dishes as they are meant to be. I appreciate learning opportunities when i am eating from cultures outside my own so 10/10. read more

First of all, I'd like to say that, even though this place was busy unexpectedly towards the end of the day when they were nearing their close time, they helped us get seated pretty quickly and moved like mad ants to get all the orders in! Amazing service: I feel so lucky and blessed to be able to have a variety of cultural experiences living in Las Vegas, Nene was such a lovely lady that took the time to bring me the sauces so I could make an educated decision - since I've never tried Nigerian food before. Her energy was so warm and welcoming, what a gift to meet her to end the year. All the sauces were unique and flavorful- but I went with Chu. The Food: I don't think I've ever finished an entire plate so fast in my life Nene saw me using the fork with the Fufu (I used my hands at first but my nails are long so it didn't feel right) and she offered to bring me gloves ... only for her to pass by a few moments later to lock eyes with me to say HAY you are almost done I told her "don't bodda wid di gloves" lol. The Ambiance: Lots of seating so if you have a large party they should be able to get you all in, the music was lovely and the entire restaurant was aesthetically pleasing. Towards the end, she came over with the handheld machine to close out the bill, she took her time to talk to me a little bit about what we share culturally as food (I'm from Jamaica) and plans for the new year I really loved it here and I can't wait to go back, the next thing I'm going to try must be jollof. read more

The food and service here was great! I ordered the Oxtail Stew and was really surprised by the depth of flavor. The spices are really balanced and aren't like other places where there's an overpowering one. The flavor lingers on your palate. My only downside was that the oxtails were overcooked. Yes, they were tender, but some pieces have been hard boiled for too long, resulting in the moisture/fat cooking off the oxtails. Some pieces were like bubblegum. The fufu was cooked well and the texture was as I expect. The empanadas were decent. I'll definitely come back for the oxtail stew, just hope that the cooking of the oxtails are more consistent. read more

I was really looking forward to a great experience at this place, especially with all the Keith Lee hype surrounding it. I ordered the oxtail stew with fufu, and since I've never had African oxtail stew before, I wasn't entirely sure what to expect. The dish was clearly fresh, but it had way too much pepper, which overpowered the flavors. The fufu, however, was really good. If this level of spice is standard for the dish, then it's just not for me. I'd love to try another African restaurant before making a final judgment. My biggest issue, though, was the customer service. The heavyset woman with an accent was extremely rude from the moment we arrived. She gave us attitude for no reason, didn't greet us properly, and barely acknowledged us. She didn't explain the menu, and her tone was overly aggressive. Our food took forever, and she never checked on us--not even once. Meanwhile, every table around us was getting attentive service, water refills, and small talk from their servers. I even tried to give her the benefit of the doubt, thinking she might just be busy--but no, I literally watched her take care of other tables while completely ignoring us. It got so bad that another server noticed we were being left out and stepped in to check on us. That says a lot. I will say that the other three staff members were really nice, but unfortunately, this one server single-handedly ruined our experience. I was last here about a year ago. I love exotic food and this is hard to find. The restaurant is locsted on 1750 S. Rainbow Blvd Suite 8 Las Vegas, NV. Per the website: "Oulay Ceesay Fisher came from The Gambia, a small country in West Africa within Senegal. Her family was blessed with a long tradition of preparing amazing Senegambian cuisine. This combination of Senegalese and Gambian food comes from the Jollof people spanning both countries and is well known for its amazing spices and wood fired grilling. Her amazing cuisine is now in Las Vegas!" The website is https://www.calabashafricankitchen.com. Per WO: "Senegambia, officially the Senegambia Confederation or Confederation of Senegambia, was a loose confederation in the late 20th century between the West African countries of Senegal and its neighbour The Gambia, which is almost completely surrounded by Senegal. The confederation was founded on 1 February 1982 following an agreement between the two countries signed on 12 December 1981. It was intended to promote cooperation between the two countries, but was dissolved by Senegal on 30 September 1989 after The Gambia refused to move closer toward union. The Senegambia Confederation should not be confused with the historic Senegambia region, generally shortened to the Senegambia." In the photos, I posted a map do you can see where if is. For my first drink, I'm having a Senegambian Long Island. This is made with rum, gin, vodka, tequila, triple sec and homemade Senegambian ice tea. It was served in under two minutes by the server herself - Halwa (carrot in Indian). It taste quite good (like sweetened ice tea) but thicker. The music is definitely authentic and nice to listen to. For my appetizer, I have been allowed to order 1 of each item (normally 2) to taste each one. They're all fried so I can only have so much. I am having a Fataya pie (empanada) with x chicken and a side of Calabash chili sauce. Fataya is a common street snack in Senegal filled with a fluffy, but crispy pie dough, fish, parsley, tomatoes paste, onions, pepper and a few spices. I am also having a Neem or Senegalese Egg Roll made with beef, shrimp and spicy vermicelli filling served with spring roll sauce. This is a good sized place with a square shape and about a 15' high ceiling. The bar is pretty big too (about a 12' square). The server (the "one and only" who is also the bartender) is definitely African and I believe the owner came up to me. They actually have a Happy Hour from 4-6 Tue-Fri with 25% off all drinks. The food arrived nice and hot. I like the presentation with parsley. Notice the napkin beneath. It's a little hot so it needs to cool off a bit. The Fataya pie is good! I love the [slightly] spicy red sauce! They have live music here on weekends. The egg roll is a bit small and a little hard but it tastes good and comes with a very tasty, slightly sweet sauce. This place is really a three course meal restaurant: appetizer, entree and dessert. For my entree, I'm having the Egusi Soup. Why? I was told it's the spiciest. This if a famous Nigerian soup made with ground egusi seed, ugu leaves, bitter leaves, red palm oil, smoked fish (broth), crayfish (broth), crayfish and spices. Egusi, also spelled egushi, are the protein-rich seeds of certain cucurbitaceous plants, which, after being dried and ground, are used as a major ingredient in West African cuisine. Egusi is a Yoruba word, and the popular method of cooking it is deeply rooted in Yoruba culinary traditions. It comes with a side. I'm having Fonio. This is a steamed, light, West African grain with lots of vitamins. Fonio, a gluten-free grain from two cultivated grasses in the Digitaria genus, is a West African staple with cultural significance and a 5,000 year history. It's known for its resilience, maturing in just 6-8 weeks and requiring minimal resources. Fonio is high in protein, fiber, iron, zinc, B-vitamins, and magnesium, and has a low glycemic index. It's also resistant to pests and disease. The "soup" (mostly dry) is very good with a slight kick to it. I like the taste although it is hard to describe. It's soft and mushy. The grain is dry and tasteless like all grains, but it goes well with the soup! There are three chicken pieces beneath the top layer of the soup. It is bone-in. The soup is much spicer at the bottom. For dessert, I'm having the Chakri/Degue/Burkina (different African names for the same thing). This is a West African delight made with millet/couscous, golden raisins, sweet cream and coconut flakes. This is a sweet millet couscous dish made with Millet, Water, Yogurt, Sugar and Salt. This is great! It's like eating yogurt. The crowd was light tonight but I was only there from 2-4. The prices are moderate so you can escape out of here for under $70 each for a three course meal with a drink out the door. What a great meal! read more

First time trying african cuisine and I was blown away by not just the food but the service. Wow! The ladies here were all so sweet and so welcoming. They offered me samples of the stews since it was my first time- a great first experience Sampler: Egusi: so hearty, slightly bitter, and the texture reminded me of mash tofu Peanut butter stew: so peanut buttery and reminded me of Dan Dan Okra stew: Smokey and has semblances of baba ganoush/eggplants Red stew: perfect blend of spiced tomatos, sweet and savory We got: Oxtail Stew with Fufu $28: very flavorful and not stingy with oxtails at all! Fufu was also so fun to eat Side of Jollof Rice $7: smoky, spice-y, and the perfect charred rice texture The decor and music stayed true to African roots. We can see why this place is so highly rated! We were pleasantly surprised by the size of this place! It's beautifully decorated and the ambiance is just perfect. Our server was so pleasant and took time to tell us about the cuisines as it was our first time. We had the plantains, black eyes peas fritters. For dinner my husband had the chicken yassa and I had the red stew chu with fufu. Everything was very delicious and so flavorful! It felt as though we were in another part of the world. Amazing, amazing . Amazing! I just want to give a 5/5 to the service! SHE was amazing ( I think her name was Andrea). She asked if it was my first time here ( which I replied yes) she then explained the menu to me, told me all the favorites and even offered a sample of the soup. she answered all my questions in depth and was very friendly and informative. I tried the empanadas , oxtail soup and ginger/pineapple juice. Everything was very flavorful! My only thing I would is I would give the empanadas 4/5 instead of 5/5 bc I feel like there wasn't too much meat/filling in them (esp the beef compared to chicken ) Also: they have a lunch special as well where everything is 16 dollars and comes with a side ( I did not opt for that menu though) read more

Check me out...we traveled from California to Las Vegas to try this restaurant. Let me not waste your time. We ordered about $130 worth of food, which include: Jollof rice, Empanadas , Plantains, Neem Senegalese Egg Rolls , oxtail stew/soup with fufu, Red Stew, and Lamb chops. For drink we had the Ginger Pineapple Juice & Bissau Wonjo. Everything was made fresh to order, and tasted very good! The service was very good as well. A young lady name Sonia (according to the check) managed to serve four tables and gather everyone's orders without pen and pad. You go girl! She often checked on everyone to ensure the food was good and nothing further was needed. The ambiance was beautiful and modern. In comparison to West African restaurants in Los Angeles, the restaurant was upscale. The decor was very well thought out with variations of beige, brown, and greens. Our server displayed significant inattention, overlooking our table for an extended period and necessitating requests for replacement dining items due to contamination. Moreover, water refills were not provided, and the server's social distractions hindered effective service. The food quality also suffered, with overcooked meat and an unacceptable bone-to-meat ratio. This experience diverges from the praise my family has shared with others. My girlfriend & I visited with a group of 6 to try Calabash African Kitchen for our first time. She is from Ghana, so she is very accustomed to African cuisine, but for the rest of our group, myself included, had never tried any African cuisine before. So this was a treat! As we entered, I noticed how amazingly clean the entire restaurant was kept. Very nice! Our servers were pretty busy, although there were not many tables in use. My girl also said that the last time she visited, they were busy and it took a while. Even our food took a bit of time to come out. Just something to be aware of. Once the food came out, everything was very fresh and extremely flavorful! It was awesome! I'm so glad we got to try this out and let Calabash be our first experience with this type of cuisine. I had the goat soup, and loved it! The wait was worth it, and overall I think everyone should try it. read more

This was an experience since I've never has Senegalese food. I have to apologize because I dont remember the original name of the dishes we ordered but we tried a few: Fried plantains- I love fried platanos so this was an easy one and I love how it complimented the savory dishes. Must have. Beef empanada- this one had a crispy shell with tasty filling of your choice, we picked beef and it was really good. Oxtail stew with fufu- this was sooo good and savory, the oxtail was cooked well and I the sauce of it was more liquidy, probably best with rice aa you can really mix it in with the sauce to get every bit of it. And trust me you're going to want every bit of it! Lamb peanut stew with rice- this was one I was really looking forward to try. The lamb was a bit more chewy but still tasted good, the sauce tasted so good as it reminded me of one of our own Filipino dish called kare-kare, which also have peanut in the sauce. I really love this dish and went well with rice and the fufu since the sauce was in a thicker creamier side. We also true some of the traditional juices which we really enjoyed because the owner who was helping us let us try samplers, which was really cool. I really like this place and woukd love to come back. Just note that lunch time can be busy and they seem to only have a few servers so please be patient and know the food will be delicious! read more

I drive by this place all the time for work and every time I drive by I keep saying I need to stop by here and I always keep forgetting. I remembered today and it was lunch time so I just pulled up. Came in sat down was greeted by Ula. Not sure if I spelled her name right. Very pleasant calm spirit. She explained everything to me. Allowed me to sample all the juices. The food and the flavors. What can I say? Mouth-watering seasoned or should I say flavored very well with a little spice? I tried the empanadas chicken and seafood. The sauce for the empanadas was good but really the flavor of the empanadas was so good. You don't want to dip it in anything. The crust was so light and everything was piping hot. I tried jollof rice for the first time. I've always heard about it and finally got to try it. I loved it. I had it along with the grilled chicken. I am kicking myself for not stopping by sooner. Today was an amazing day. I finally made it over to Calabash African Kitchen, I must say that I was very Impressed. I love the ambiance, the service and the music. I literally Felt this place in my Soul. It activates my Culture, if you haven't been here, you must visit. It has that WOW Effect, and I Love it. As for the Food, the Oxtails was off the charts. I highly recommend Calabash African Kitchen for flavorful food! If you're looking for good service, this may not be the best option. You will have to be prepared to wait for your food order. It is a long wait, probably 45 minutes to 1 hour after your order is placed. The food is 100% worth the wait! I ordered the Red Stew with Jollof Rice - both were fresh and packed with FLAVOR!! I'll be back to try more dishes but I may order for pick up instead. read more

I've been wanting to try this restaurant out for a long time and wow, I'm so mad I didn't come sooner. You can tell the food is made with a lot of love. Everything is seasoned to perfection and packed full of flavor. I can't wait to come back! Thank you for having a variety of vegan options, everything was amazing. I especially loved the black eyed pea fritters & the jollof rice. They have live music every Friday & Saturday for dinner and a DJ on Sunday. read more

The food, service and ambiance was everything! The wonderful women who greeted us made us feel so welcome! It was like we were in her home. She gave up samples of many things to try and they were ALL DELICIOUS, it was so hard to make a final decision. I'll be back to try everything for sure! read more

We visited Calabash on 1/5/2025. My husband loves to try new foods, and we have tried Nigerian food twice together. Our server let us know that there entrees were More of a west African inspired menu. We ordered the fried plantains and. The Fataya Pies were so delicious! My husband enjoyed the Casavva Leaf stew. As me and my son were ordering the Egusi soup our server requested us to have a taste test of other variety of flavors! and i'm so happy she did that for us, because me and my 11 year old fell in love with Red Stu "Chu". The beef was tender the stew had great flavor, and i added a touch of habanero to add some heat and it was perfection! my daughter also enjoyed her Chichen Shwarma! i would definitely recommend 10/10 read more

Wow! So African food has always been something I've been dying to try but in Reno where I live, there's zero African restaurants. So when in Vegas, I had to try it. The restaurant is extremely nice with lots of African decor. The staff wears African attire which is very nice. I love the music videos playing on the screens as well. The owner is so incredibly sweet! Me (Thai woman) and my husband (Caucasian man) seemed pretty clueless as to what we should order so she came over and went over literally the whole menu with us. I couldn't choose what to order so she brought over samples and put it on the pictures so we knew which was which so it was easier for us to decide. How nice of her! I tried fufu for the first time and it was good. Plain but good. The peanut butter dish was very yummy. My favorite was the rice and fried plantains . So delicious. It was definitely something new for us but it was a great experience and great food. We will be back. read more

I've been wanting to try west African food for some years now (considering genetically I have some west African descent). Very friendly on the phone when ordering on the phone and friendly when I walked in. The food is made fresh! It was still hot with after a 20 minute drive back. So much flavor in the jollof rice and oxtail tail. The fufu is great to dip in the oxtail juice. I think the prices are reasonable also considering that The portions are huge. It's enough to feed 2-3 people. The restaurant inside is clean with a nice African vibe to it. I loved it. When I'm in the area, I will definitely be back to eat here. If you want to try some fresh and excellent west African food come here. read more

The food at Calabash was so good! I usually pair attiéké with fish, but the Dibi Suya Chicken was just as delicious. The chicken was full of flavor and really tender, the plantains were sweet and cooked perfectly, and the attiéké was light and went well with everything. I also had the ginger pineapple juice -- super refreshing with the perfect kick. I loved this place so much I came back the next day for a shawarma for lunch, and it didn't disappoint. read more

PLEASE COME HERE! I went in there thicc and I left there extra thicccc. Not only the food here is incredible but also the staff. They know what theyre doing and theyre doing it right! I was comfortable, happy, and having a great time. This is my first time trying authentic African food and I dont think any other place can top this experience. I did not get the ladies name but I had asked her if they had any hot sauce/chili and right away she said "Habanero" and I laughed and said yes. She made the most amazing simple habanero salsa that it hit the spot for me. Thank you so much! read more

Yes we shared the main dishes. It was more than enough food
Your vegetarian stews/soups, are they vegan?
Yes, our stews/soups are vegan. The only thing not vegan in our vegetarian selection is Fataya/Empanadas.
Are your meats halal? I miss west African food
Yes almost all of our meats are Halal. Our lamb, goat, beef, and most of our chicken is Halal. The only meats not Halal is the oxtail and the chicken drumsticks.
Can I customize the egusi soup to have no crayfish? I am allergic to shellfish
Hello Zaya, yes we can get you the vegetarian option and add the protein you want.
