The owner was very hospitable and friendly. The food was freshly made and full of flavor. There is a lot of culture in the restaurant. I appreciate the decor. They have great lunch specials and the plaintains were delicious.

Excellent food homemade by the owner. I eat here every time I visit Las Vegas! Most of the food is gluten free. It is all SO tasty! It is cooked fresh to order so call ahead if you're not wanting a long meal time. If you don't know Nigerian food, the owner is very helpful. I would make a reservation so that she is ready for you! This is worth the trip off the Strip! The ambiance is low key and it's in an old strip mall. Cone for the food and the experience. It isn't fancy. It's a change of pace from the big fancy offerings in tourist areas.

I really tried to give this Nigerian restaurant a chance, but the experience was beyond frustrating. First of all, the customer service is absolutely terrible. When I pointed out that the prices I was being told didn't match the ones listed on the menu, the woman--who claimed to be the owner--told me, "Don't worry about the menu, just listen to what I have to say." Excuse me? What kind of customer service is that? If you have set prices, why aren't they accurately reflected on your menu? I've never experienced something so unprofessional--are we in a village marketplace where prices change depending on who's asking? On top of that, the ambience is unpleasant and the overall environment feels neglected. No effort is made to make guests feel welcome or respected. It's no wonder many Nigerians avoid this place. The lack of transparency, courtesy, and cleanliness is simply unacceptable. Until there is a serious overhaul in how this restaurant operates--both in terms of customer service and presentation--I won't be returning, and I can't recommend it to anyone.

what a hidden gem! but very hidden. ive been wanting to try fufu since ive heard about it on instagram over a year ago! but i never knew where to go until i found this place when i googled fufu. its in a very hidden shopping center near the strip/the strat but im so glad i found it. I had so much anxiety cause ive never even ordered Nigerian food and didnt know where to start and im so happy I was there to receive service from David. He was patient and kind while guiding me through how to order. he was missing some things like chicken but he was open and honest about that and about the menu prices now being different which is a big complaint i saw in the negative reviews. he showed me what everything i ordered would cost and apologized for the error. I honestly didnt mind and the prices were super fair especially for the serving size. he asked what heat level i wanted from 1-10 and i said 5 and he warned me 5 was probably a 8-9 in american food. which made me laugh and i changed it to a 3 to be safe and fair warning it was still spicy(not too bad) ! but to say it was absolutely delicious is an understatement! the food did take about 20 minutes to prepare and its made fresh and i mean FRESH that fufu was super hot. my mom loved the jollof rice and i loved the egusi soup. 10/10 i would come again and try more things maybe a little less spicy though! i wish i took photos of the food but we were hungry and had such great comfort food. cant wait to go back!

Wanted to try something different. The egusi was ok there was more bones than meat on the chicken. The other dish we got was just the same. I ordered to go. Probably won't be back. It was pretty pricy

Don't bother going here, Extremely Disappointed (and Hangry) I took a $40 Uber ride to get to Nigerian Food in Vegas, timing my trip based on the hours listed online. I stayed hungry all day, dreaming of egusi and pounded yam, only to arrive and find the place closed. No update online, no notice, nothing. Not only was it a huge waste of time and money, but also a crushing disappointment after waiting all day for this meal. Please update your business hours so customers don't make long, expensive trips for nothing. Today, I left not just hungry -- but hangry.

Amazing restaurant to try Nigerian food!!

If you want to experience a real cultural experience for dining in Nigeria this is a way to experience it!!! The dining room shows the eclectic nature of the country of Nigeria. And the family who owns the restaurant is happy to give you guidance on how best to enjoy their food to experience its greatness. The spice level can get hot quickly but it's so good. I dined with my fiancée who isn't a spicy tolerable person but, if you can handle the heat the hotter the better!!! Please check out this business as they started right before Covid hit and have kept it going through it all!!!

    Egusi soup with fufu, AMAZING!

The food here was amazing especially the egusi soup, and the beef with rice and the chicken with fried rice! Service was amazing lady was so nice.

Food was good! Service was amazing! I was helped by the young man who works there and he was very kind. I called on the phone to place my order, when I arrived it was ready. The only thing I wish they had was a smaller portions, this was the smallest size I was told they had. I will be back whenever I am in Las Vegas!

    Egusi soup and okra soup

First time here, usually my family and I are picky but, the service and the food was amazing. The plaza looked sketchy but of course the food was great! The ladies made us feel comfortable definitely would come here again.

I am a huge fan of Ethiopian food and I am so delighted that Lucy Ethiopian is one of the best here…read morein Las Vegas. Located on Decatur and Flamingo in an unassuming shopping center, it's the kind of place you pretty much need to know about to find. You're really not going to spot it from the road, so plug it into your GPS and follow the guidance and the smells to this terrific gem. I've only ever been at lunch and never found it to be very busy. There are always tables full of people enjoying great food, however, and they have a lot of space to spread out so I can't say that you'd have to wait very long if there were a line. They have tables for parties of all sizes as well as traditional Ethiopian baskets you can sit around and dine from. I've not experienced that here yet. The staff is super friendly and, you can tell how passionate they are about the food. Attentive service. I never want for anything. If you've never dined at an Ethiopian restaurant before you're in for an experience. Food is served in piles on large platters and there are not forks, knives, or spoons. You tear off pieces of injera, a slightly sour fermented pancake-like flatbread with a slightly spongy texture, traditionally made of teff flour, and dig into the piles with your hands. It's a truly tactile experience and really, I think, adds to the uniqueness of the food. (Note they have handwashing stations so you and your party can ensure clean fingers when eating off of the same platter. There are both meat and non-meat options. I always gravitate to the vegetarian options when I come and am always completely satisfied. Piles of lentils, peas, cabbage, beets, greens, and salad are perfectly spiced...some quite mild and others with a slight spicy bite. Nothing too picante although the salad does have sliced jalapeño in it so be mindful of that if you're not a fan of spicy. Aromatic flavors and textures will leave you wanting more. I always love visiting here and encourage you to visit. So, so good!

Delicious food, lovely staff and convenient location…read more I haven't had Ethiopian food in a while, so instead of choosing one dish, I opted for the half meat/ half veggie platter. The portion is huge so be prepared to share and still have leftovers to take home. My favorites were the beef with onions and meat in green sauce. For veggies, I loved the greens and steamed spinach. Simple and clean to enjoy between the other flavors on the plate. I do wish the yellow and green lentils had more spices/ seasoning since they were a little bland. Overall a great platter though. The lentil samosa is also delish!
