Unfortunately, my car and I seem to be attracting a lot of nails lately. This is the 2nd nail I've had in my tire the past 4 weeks and the first time I was looking for a gas station with an air pump to fill my tire until I can get to a tire shop but saw there was a tire shop nearby so I popped in and they were able to take me right away, thought I needed a new tire but they just patched up the tire for 25$ and sent me on the way 20 minutes later. Today I was pumping gas and saw a giant nail sticking out of my tire and even though there were other tire repair shops closer I decided to drive the 20 minute to pop over to this shop. When I pulled in there was a line but I still parked and someone stopped me before I even got to the door and asked what I needed help with. I told them the issue then took the keys and let me know it is a 10 minute wait before my turn. I went inside and waited and they even offered me a free cold beverage for the hot day. Nice clean and AC waiting are as well. Today I had to replace the entire tire but it was fairly price and still in and out less than 30 min prob. Super fast and friendly and good work, they have my loyalty (but hopefully I won't need to use their service too often and avoid all the nails in the road). read more

Great experience today at Calderon's! I had a flat tire and before going to Calderon's, I drove to another auto shop who tried getting me to get all my tires replaced, fixing this and fixing that, etc. and I wasn't about to get $1000+ in repairs with how old my car is and the mileage on it, especially if all I wanted was as to repair/replace a flat. Also, who knows how long it would take to get all those suggested repairs done? I'd heard good things about Calderon's from a coworker and decided to check it out. The whole process to replace my tire took less than 30 minutes and only $70 from my pocket. Came by today to have a tire patched today on Subaru legacy. Told us could not be patched (side wall) which is true. They are the 3rd business we checked pricing on. They then also told us that they would have to replace all 4 tires on our 300k+ vehicle. They could not just sell us 1. Ridiculous! They are an upsell trap. Stay away. Yes subaru recommends replacing all 4 - but it certainly is not a necessity. When i mentioned i would be writing a review, the service rep said "please do." No shame. Stay away from this business. Keep in mind I normally do not drive to the tire shops with a bad tire. I'd normally remove the tire from the vehicle and bring it in. How would they know it came off of the awd Subaru? Went for a emergency tire patch because of a nail and was quick and out of there in 15-20 mins. They are really nice and really does a great job and even only charged for the patch and not inflating after which was very affordable! I would rate this zero stars but I don't want my review to be taken down. The worker hit a person with my car and the manager tried to blame it on me. I'm never coming back here again. I got charged $300+ for a single wheel replacement and a tire light sensor battery. The tire light is still on to this day. read more

I spoke with the owner through Yelp when I was shopping around for service. David was the first to reply back with a quote for a whole tire swap but, I had a curve ball to throw, which was I already had a spare tire and TPMS to replace for my wheel. He acknowledged that I was waiting for my tires to come in through Tire Rack shipment, he didn't seemed against it or trying to sell me extra stuff ontop of the quote. He just told me to come by when I'm ready and he sent me a good price to adjust with what I'm bringing, so it's just labor I'm paying for. I come by after work, unannounced and no appointment, it was already 4:45PM and I felt bad for coming in that late but one of the techs (Javier) saw me rolling up. I didn't even have to park my car outside and wait for someone to direct me to drive in, he just went straight to hand signaling where to park and went straight to work when I told him my issue. Paying was a breeze, the cashier/admin who handled me rang me up quick and the service tech finished swapping my tire within 25 minutes, quickest tire job I've seen. However, I just pulled up to the air presser and someone came out with the air presser gun. They checked all the tires and filled the ones that needed air. They did it all for free. Incredibly good service It's rare today to to get such amazing service. David certainly delivered. He was obtain to obtain the exact model and size of tire I needed within 90 minutes of my call, and the price was as good as any online dealer. He quoted the same price for 4 TPMS sensor replacements as Pep Boys for quoting to replace the 2 known defective ones, and the job was done in less than 30 minutes. Our second car also got a tire rotation and TPMS relearn at the same time. This was a hectic day for us after a scary blown tire event on the freeway Monday night, at a time we had numerous errands to run in preparation for travel. I'm torn on how to review this establishment. Today's service is 5 stars! I had a tire leak and as soon as I arrived a man waved me into the bay. He just got straight into it which I admire because other places just blocks away we're understaffed. This place is bustling with people. Within minutes he showed me the pot hole damage on the tire. It's on the sidewall so my only option is to replace. They offer new and used tires. Their in stock brands are lower name brands. I'm not a tire snob but I know my tires were not the best as I bought whatever was in stock in an emergency situation a few months ago. Coincidentally they had a used Delente DH2 tire which is my exact same tire. I inspected the treads and they're like new. They took a little longer than I expected so it turns out there was a nail in the used tire. This would normally have turned anyone off, but I used to work at tire places and I know plugs and patches work well. They patched it up and I was done. They were also straight up with me which I appreciate. The tire was marked for $120 and they didn't charge for checking my blown tire nor did they charge for mount/balance. I thought it was a good deal. I know how hard it is to work at these places so I gave the hard working guy an extra $10. So why not 5 stars? I went cheap a few years ago on a set of tires. They were on a SUV that I didn't drive much. The lower end tires showed their true worth. Even upon installation I had steering wheel vibrations. I brought it back for re-balancing 2 different times at 2 other Calderon locations. Nothing worked. I gave up and thought I can live with it, but fast forward a couple years but only a couple thousand miles later there were major signs of flat spotting. That's a tire that has a flat spot because it's been weighed down by the vehicle. I tried all kinds of remedies and nothing worked. Even checked my rims! In the end I had to go to Skip's tire and get the OEM brand. Is it Calderon's fault? No, but I wish they offered an in-between model so I didn't have to go through all of that. I just realized I wrote a novel. No one is going to read this, but I don't care. I'm gonna have to give a shout out to the owner of Calderon. This guy is the real deal. He has no idea I'm writing this, but that's why Yelp is special. We can say the good or the bad. He had maybe 10+ workers going full bore. I'm guessing they are working hard because the boss is in. He also was hands on helping his crew get people in and out, physically doing tires himself while wheeling and dealing with customers. That's how you run a business Mr. Calderon! read more

Do not go here if you care about your car or wheels. Super shady shop. Called in for a quote to mount and balance 275/35/18 squared tires for $150 when I got there they tried to charge me $180 After installing the tires i noticed that all 4 of my wheels have been damaged. Looks like they used a metal screw driver to remove the old wheel weights completely scratching up all 4 wheels. How do you even fuck it up this bad? The scratches are extremely deep and you can feel how rough the surface is They then tried to send me off as if nothing happened and when i went to complain we had a back and forth before they agreed to refund me half the price of the install. Calderon's Tires is the place to come for any tire repairs. Have been coming here since the 80's, lol. Drive up let them know what the issue is and they more than likely will find a solution on how fix it. Had my tire patched up after getting a nail stuck in it. They fixed my tire and reprogrammed my car so it wouldn't show the tire sensor. A few day later my tire sensor came on again so I took my car back to Calderon's tires and they fixed the issue free of charge. They young man in the office was friendly and helpful with my tire repair needs. Employee who helped me out was helpful and patient in showing me how to recalculate my tires on the cars touch screen. read more
