I have been a customer for 2 years now & even recommended my brother to JD. Melanie is always so helpful on the phone when I call to ask about the tires needed for my car. I first found out about this place when my brand new tire popped on the freeway after a month of purchasing my car due to broken car pieces from an accident. They took me in when I arrived in the morning with no appointment & got me a close to new tire immediately. I was shocked with how reasonable their prices were too! My brother had a leaked tire & I called first asking Melanie if they had any tires for his car. Thankfully they did & even quoted the price over the phone. When he arrived, they noticed a 2nd tire needed to be replaced. So he listened & it has been driving smooth for almost 6 months now. Honestly, I get really skeptical about auto shops/tire shops because I have been scammed in the past where something always goes wrong with my car & needed to pay extra for repairs after leaving. My trusted auto/tire shop is all the way im Concord where I used to live, but it is such a trek to get to with my busy schedule nowadays. Vehicle: '25 Tesla Model 3 Gave them a call about tire foam removal and came in for the service. No appointment required and the service was done in about an hour. For those with teslas, they come with foam attached to the inside of the tire for road noise dampening. It is quite common for the foam to come loose and result in vibration in high speeds (more than 60mph). The foam removal will fix this though you will notice an increase in road noise. read more

I have been a customer for 6 years now. So I blindly trusted them and when my girlfriend asked where she should go for new tires, I recommended this place. But they basically took advantage of her lack of knowledge and sold her ironman tires that cost ~$70 everywhere else (walmart, amazon, pepboys, etc) for $139 each. So double the price. She ended up paying ~$270 more. It was really sad experience for me and made me lose my trust in them entirely. The tire in question was Ironman GR906 205/55R16 in case anyone else wanted to check. First off called before I went to the shop and gave me vehicle info the man on the phone told me it would be $95 for my wheel alignment , well guess what I went in and it was $100 any ways that's not were it wen sour it happened when they supposedly inspected my vehicle and come an tell me I need hella sh** done to my vehicle in order to do the wheel alignment and quoted me hella f***** expensive but they said no worries we can do all these repairs for you her(what the f*** what a coincidence) and they tell me it is $35 for not doing sh*** to my vehicle aka an inspection. Went there about a week ago to get some info for some tired and rims for my car, but they didn't have the rims I wanted in stock . So they told me that they could order them but not the size I originally wanted, but I decided, okay, I'll give them a try . So the cost would have been 2,900.00, but I would have to put a deposit down for the order. Then I would just owe 2,800.00 okay. I'm fine with this, so I asked if I changed my mind. Can I get my deposit back they told me in my face yes, and you can get your deposit back . So I say great, okay, then let's write up the paperwork. This was on a Saturday, so I ended up finding my rims and tires that included sensors and lugg nuts and mount and balanced. Everything I wanted for only 2,100.00 total Epic deal . It's way much cheaper than JD, so I talked to them two day later, Monday morning, and told them to cancel the order or price match. But of course, they didn't price match, so then I told them I would be by to pick up my deposit. They responded to me that the deposit is non refundable. I was so mad . They straight lied to me at the store to my face . Lesson learned I will not be doing any kind of business with these people. Read the fine print . Don't trust their word for anything . I've only gone to them two times and both times have been great. I went to Toyota to pick up my car after a routine maintenance and Toyota told me I had a nail in my tire that was not repairable. They were going to charge me $200+ and have to wait a day or two for the single tire. I'm not a car person but when I have car trouble of any kind I become stressed. I went days driving it with the nail and could not find a place to look at it during my work schedule. One day I remembered jd tires helped me out a few years ago and called to ask if they had time to replace it. I was fine with paying a bit just to get it replaced but the guy on the phone offered to see if it could be repaired. I told him Toyota said it couldn't be repaired and he said that's what big dealerships do. I took my car to JD tires on alum rock and met with the worker named Roy. He explained to me the damage of the tire and though I was ok with replacing the tire, he talked me into just repairing it. It's been over a week since he repaired it and it's as if there was nothing wrong with it. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes and was only charged $30 for the repair. Rating it two stars since the price was okay but the experience was horrible. I went in to initially repair my flat tire but I ended up needing a new one. While waiting I couldn't stand how hot it was outside and walking into the lobby made it worse. There was plenty of customers waiting in the lobby too that took up space plus with no air conditioner it felt like an oven in there. Used to come here a lot pre covid. Service is usually decent depending who's there. Prices have always been up there but this last time I was quoted $1000+ for a set of 4 brand new tires that are $150 each brand new on multiple different websites. In front of me, in Spanish, the lady asked her coworker how much she should mark up the tires, thinking I didn't understand Spanish, then pulled out a calculator and proceeded to quote me out more than double the actual cost of the tires. I understand shipping costs and mount/balance but that's ridiculous lol. If you don't look Latino or speak Spanish they are going to try to gouge you. read more

I'm a female and normally when you go to other places they try to take advantage of you for the simple reason of being a girl but not here, I came in for new tires and brakes, Francisco checked my truck and said your breaks are still good for a while you don't need them right now we could just change the tires and try to buff out the scratches on the rims at no charge. I was in need of a alignment after lifting my new Jeep gladiator in my garage. I literally went to 5 different shops in my area and not a single one could do it. 3 of them didn't have the software, 1 wanted to charge me an exuberant amount because "it was a highly modified vehicle" lol (stock Jeep with a 2.5 spacer lift) and another didn't want to work on a Jeep. I called JD and they didn't even hesitate. They said bring it in and we will figure it out one way or another. I brought it in and 25 minutes they had my Jeep on the machine and done with no issues or gripes. Gave me the spec sheet of what was adjusted and it drove smooth as stock when I was done. Shop was super clean. Lady up front was very nice and friendly. Offered me water and a place to sit. They charged me the lowest price on alignment since it wasn't a huge adjustment. Will definitely be going back for any wheel, tire, or suspension needs I cannot wrench on myself. They even gave me a sticker to put in my rig on the way out read more

Needed to find a local shop quickly on a Sunday to replace my bald tires (1 tire being flat). They not only had my tires in stock but we were helped within minutes of getting there without an appointment. All 4 tires were replaced in an hour and they performed a complimentary alignment all at a very reasonable price. I didn't get the man's name that helped us, but he was very approachable and honest about what we needed to have fixed unlike a lot of other tire shops in the area. This was my go to spot. So here goes, i bought tpms sensors from these guys not even a year ago. I ended up switching the wheels to a different car. So you figure since these are universal sensors these should be reprogrammable. Both shops said nope... Brought to Great Mall Tire Outlet, explained the situation to Frank.
