This place is fire ! Our son has been telling us about it for quite a while now but we live waaay across town. Found ourselves nearby today and wow, it did not disappoint. This is Texas BBQ at its best in AZ! I'm salivating thinking about my lunch. They have smoked brisket, turkey and pulled pork. Ordered a couple of sliders each so we could try two different types of meat. We also got two sides to share. The corn casserole was homey and delicious and the mac & cheese was yummy too. Sampled the coleslaw as well, which I will be getting next time (and more corn ). Most barbecue places don't have the best sides but these guys have made theirs exceptionally delicious! They offered a side of pickles, onions, and jalapeños that we could put on our sandwiches. One of the managers came over and chatted with us at our table as well as one of the employees. They are incredibly friendly and helpful there. On the tables, you will find all three of their sauces. Each one of them is available for purchase, along with other merchandise. We left with a bottle of Arizona Gold (a decadent mustard BBQ sauce). So happy to hear that they will be opening two new locations, one in Scottsdale and one in Peoria in 2026. Hallelujah! This is hands down some of the best bbq you will ever taste. It's worth the trek across the valley. Tucked away off of Warner and Power- you'll want to aim for non peak times because parking is limited. Primary seating is outdoors on picnic tables. Go for the sliders- the amount of meat you get is unreal, then snag the coleslaw, pickles, potato salad and corn casserole you won't be disappointed. This is a very good bb-q place. The food has a very good smoke flavor. But falls short on spices. Don't take this as a negative we just like spice flavor on our bb-q. The brisket was smoked very well but had no spices. Just smoke and meat flavor. The turkey was nice and moist and well smoked. The 1/2 rack of pork ribs were nice and moist as well but again short on spices but the meat flavor was great. The jalapeño sausage had a nice snap to it and was very well flavored. We had a fantastic experience here. the ribs were great as well as the brisket. The service was great and it was very cozy.

We've been here a few times and the food was great all of those times. The parking lot was small so you might have issues finding a spot. On our most recent visit, we waited in a long line but it was good to help us decide what to order. We were debating on buying meat per pound or a sandwich. We ended up ordering the El General Patton with mac n cheese, the Dixie V with creamy cornbread, an order of sausage, and banana pudding. They prepared the food in front of us so there was really not much waiting. Everybody was really nice! When we were outside finding a seat, one of the girls working here helped us bring the sauces to our table so that was nice. The outside seating was nice with the lights. The El General Patton was delicious and I would recommend it if you're wanting to try three different meats (brisket, pulled pork, and sausage). The order of sausage was delicious and the Dixie V had just brisket which was good too. The hot and spicy sauce was good but I liked their house BBQ sauce the most. Seen them on Instagram and finally got to try them today! Very limited parking but when we came it was barely packed at 12 (an hour after they opened) but lot got full quick shortly after we arrived. Super friendly and welcoming at the Gilbert location, yet have to try the Queen Creek location which is bigger with fun events onsite, where this location is small but simply well worth the visit! I loved the whole outdoor layout vibe, very cute and well kept, they even have misters! There is indoor dining area as well. We got their "Family Meal of 4" with choice of turkey, brisket and pulled pork and sides of macaroni and cheese and corn casserole. We all devoured it! We drove an hour to try their food. And it was worth it. The staff were very nice. The pit masters welcomed us hello and also said bye as we left. It was clean inside and out. Lots of seating. Torrin went out of his way to make sure everything was great, sat and talked to us for a few minutes, made us feel like family. Outstanding BBQ! When we first walked up we saw them grilling on the BBQ and it smelt amazing!!! Everyone inside was very nice, quick, efficient and overall great customer service. We sat on the patio in the back. It has a lot of shade from the umbrellas with big picnic tables. It was fun to sit outside, rocking out to country music and smelling the grill. I was told that this place can get quite busy but I didn't wait too long around lunch time on a Saturday. I really enjoyed the brisket sample I received. My husband ordered half a rack of ribs and I ordered a sandwich. For sides we got their lemon poppyseed coleslaw, Mac and cheese, and corn casserole. Everything was very tasty! You can taste the rub and nothing seem overly seasoned or heavy handed with sauces. I have no complaints. Parking is available but can be a bit difficult to maneuver around as there is only one way in/out. There are outside and inside seating areas. Definitely check this place out if you're in the area! Met a contractor for business lunch, we stepped inside and were immediately greeted and offered samples of their brisket and pulled pork, both meats had a nice smoke ring and were very juicy. I chose the "Dixie V" brisket sandwich with a side of coleslaw for lunch and my friend ordered the "General Patton" sandwich. The brisket was very tender and did not have a strong smoke flavor to it. I put their house BBQ sauce on the meat, and it paired well with the brisket. I was pleasantly surprised with the lemon poppy coleslaw, it was crunchy, seasoned well, and dressed perfectly not too wet not to dry, it was pretty good coleslaw which seems hard to find these days. I watched as the line to order food grew longer but the service remained quick and friendly.
