This place was absolutely amazing! The food was delicious but the location we went to was in Queen Creek. We never been to this place and thought it was going to be a fun time to have a birthday celebration for my husband. As we came down to ordering our food and we had no clue what we were ordering and of course it took us a minute to kind of read through the menu. The whole time we were ordering we were being laughed at by their teenager employees and felt judge the whole time we ordering, even the sweet couple before us looked lost and they just look at each other and laughed. After that bad interaction with them the whole mood shifted and didn't feel like a celebration anymore. I really feel this place needs to train their employees on the importance of customer service, instead of laughing at us, they should've offered any tips or advice on what to order. read more

We purchased the family platter for 4. We got brisket, pulled pork; and ribs! It was a ton of food for 50$ The family platter comes with 3 meats, 3 sides and a half loaf of bread. You can get unlimited bread if you would like they said. The bread is a little odd to me; since it is plain sandwich bread. It would be nice to have some cornbread, or for it to be toasted. The meat had so much flavor and tasted so fresh! We really like the house sauce, it has a sweet flavor. The AZ sauce is pretty good as well. The hot and sweet was our favorite! It was a perfect mix of the two! The beans were a favorite for our family! They had a ton of flavor and tasted very fresh! The potato salad was as good as well. The corn mix had a strange potato consistency but was delicious. The outside area is really really nice! There are tons of tables. The parking lot has tons of parking the only downside is the parking lot smells like sewer; which isn't a smell you want to smell walking into the restaurant. Visiting from CA and this place was recommended to us and I can say it did not disappoint! The girl cutting the meat was super friendly as was the guy who was working the register. The brisket was so tender you could cut it with a plastic fork. I got to meet the guys behind the meat which was Aaron and John. 2 of the nicest guys you could ever meet. I was peeking over the BBQ area and they invited me to come back and look at the meat that was cooking. I thought that was pretty cool cause most people don't want to be bothered. They even gave my husband tips on cooking brisket at home. Thanks guys it was a pleasure meeting you and keep that amazing food coming. As a true southerner, I'm very picky when it comes to bbq. I've had the luxury of living in Tennessee, Alabama, and Georgia for 23 out of my 24 years, so those are my "BBQ critic credentials." I got the Dixie V sandwich. The brisket was great! They have an assortment of sauces as well. I put the house sauce and AZ Gold on my sandwich. Both delicious! Loved the amount of pickles they served too. I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 because I believe the mac and cheese could've been better. It was more like a cheesy macaroni salad. Still yummy! Just not what I expected especially at a BBQ place (cue my southerner spiel). I would've liked a traditional mac better, but that's totally my opinion. Service was great and super friendly. I got there around 11:05 (they open at 11) and there were already a handful of people there in front of me/seated! By the time I left, the place was crowded with a long line.
