Waited on the phone for 12 minutes to try and place a to go order. Finally went in to place my order, still on hold. She wasn't apologetic at all. I was put on hold and was told she would be with me in a minute. Also, asked for extra dressing, got home and no dressing at all. Since all of the changes, this place has gone down hill. read more

Ciccio's is usually one of my favorite restaurants, but my experience was a bit underwhelming at this specific location in Riverview. I usually go to the Tampa Palms location, so that's probably why my standards were so high. Just a forewarning for future customers: the menu here is different from other locations. There is an upcharge for protein, and I have never seen that at other locations. Regarding the food, I got my usual Lean n' Clean bowl (used to be called the fitness bowl) and the broccoli was not fresh and had a rotten taste to it. That was disappointing. There were flies and bugs flying around because the front doors were left open so it was stuffy and humid. The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is because the server was kind. I won't be going to this location again. I would recommend the Tampa Palms location though, the quality and atmosphere is very calming and clean, much less chaotic. read more

This place brand new and I'm so excited to be the first to review Ciccio Cali! The decor is modern and comfortable, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the food is wonderful. My boyfriend and I got a half chicken Marsala pizza for an appetizer, he got the spicy Brazilian bowl with farro, and I got the half moon fish taco bowl with brown rice. Everything was fresh and tasted amazing. So flavorful! Oh, and I can't forget...the slamgria! It's sangria, but bigger and better..you have to experience this refreshing and absolutely alcoholic beverage. Finally, dessert was homemade cookies even the best grandma's recipe couldn't touch...phenomenal. We truly enjoyed our experience at Cicco Cali, and will definitely be back! read more

I LOVE CICCIO'S!!! I've gone to a few locations but this one most frequently. I usually get the lean and clean it's SO good. They took away the naan bread that we loved, but the avocado hummus is to die for. The maxmosas are so good and they give you the mini bottle too. Ciccio Cali Riverview 9-14-18 for lunch at 11:30. First the food: Thai bowl with warm noodles tasty but scarce on ingredients...heavy on noodle and sauce. Mexican bowl also tasty. So food overall was ok. However, outside dining green chairs were filthy gross on backs ( where you touch) and chair legs. Additionally something gross was splattered on lower left double entrance door. Looked like it had been there awhile. Yuk. Once inside, the floor was crumby and my water glass had something brown running down the side. Sauce? Got another that was fine. This was before food was brought. I would suggest manager have the chairs cleaned and do a better job sweeping. C'mon! It opens at 11 and this was 11:30 in the morning! Came mid-day with my husband for a quick bite. First time eating here and we enjoyed the atmosphere and food. I went with the Ahi Tuna Bowl, which was delicious and good portioned. While my husband had the Spicy Brazilian Bowl which he could not stop raving about the fried jalapeños. We went for lunch on a Friday. The line was out the door because you have to order before you can take a seat. The area in front of the checkout is tiny so we were incredibly cramped for about ten minutes while waiting to order. After ordering, you then help yourself to water out of a jug and silverware. Don't forget to grab it or you'll end up at your table with no utensils and scarcely a waiter in sight. We sat upstairs, it was warm and gnats and flies hovered around us as we ate. I had the Marsala pizza. I do not recommend this choice. It was not good. And the full size is enough for two or three people, in case you opt for it anyways. My friends had various noodle and rice bowls which were pretty good. The mimosas and sangria were great, however, not great enough to ever bring me back to this place. read more

I very rarely leave reviews but I've been so upset since they pretty much completely changed this place. I used to go here prob weekly. I gave it 3 solid chances post changes & I don't think I'm coming back. If it ain't broke, don't fix it! 1. You can't order half portions of the pizza anymore. 2. For the bowls or wraps to have protein it's an additional charge. I had a wrap for like $9 today & it was not worth $9. 3. Pretty sure my husband's hot & crunchy tuna bowl was a smaller portion than before. Just all kinds of subtractions and additions to the menu that were unnecessary. Just sad :( read more

My mother-in-law and sister-in-law love this restaurant and were excited to to treat my husband and I to dinner. The food is delicious. I got the Big Italy bowl with spaghetti squash and steak. The beef was perfectly cooked, the vegetables were well seasoned and the almond ricotta was so yummy. While we waited for our food I looked at the dishes the waiting staff were bringing out to the other tables, and saw bowls overflowing with veggies and people getting to-go containers because they couldn't finish their dinners. When my husband and I received our food (we ordered the same thing) the servings were pathetic. One part of of my dish simply had no food on it, just some traces of sauce where it looked like food had been scraped off the dish. Everyone else at our table received generous portions, and my sister-in-law, who'd also ordered the Big Italy bowl with spaghetti squash, had about as much food in her bowl as my husband and I combined. My husband and I each had a decent amount of meat, but the measly amount of vegetables and squash on our plates was a joke. Having such unequal serving sizes is unacceptable, and at $13 a bowl, we should get enough to eat, and not have to order more food because the kitchen either made a mistake or is just really inconsistent about how much food they put on peoples' plates. If the order had simply been wrong, we could have returned it, but how were we supposed to call the waitress back and say: "Excuse me, there isn't enough food on my plate"? For the first time in my life, I left a restaurant hungry, and I weigh 120 pounds, so I don't need an inordinate amount of food to feel full. My husband and I went home and finished our leftovers from the previous night's dinner to feel full, and my poor mother-in-law felt really embarrassed to see us sitting in the kitchen eating microwaved leftovers after she'd taken us out for a nice dinner. read more

I ordered the hot and crunchy tuna bowl, when I got home I noticed it was a smaller portion than what I normally get, after further inspection there was almost no tuna, only 4 pieces! She "educated" us on the menu and was very attentive during the meal. Oscar served us tonight and the service was just as excellent. My friends and I decided to try this place out last Valentines Day and I have to say the food was good. I ordered a dish of Monterrey Hash, I believe and it was very tasty, although the potatoes should've been crispy, I feel. I tried a bite of chocolate chip pancake and it was very delicious. My husband and I decided to try this restaurant tonight. I loved it! I had the Amalfi pizza, which had fresh broccoli, cauliflower and mushrooms. It was reasonably priced for a thin crust pizza so large I had to take half home for another day. The salsa served with chips as an appetizer was fresh and tasty. The service was friendly and enthusiastic, and we were given a fresh and tasty S'mores cookie as first timers. I recommend this restaurant. Two of us ate meals, with one Sangria and appetizer, for $38 before the tip. read more
