Always a wait during the weekends but it usually goes by pretty fast. They told us a 45 mins wait but it was only 25 mins. Kid friendly place. Nice kids menu... very cheap... $4 items. The food came out really fast. I gave this place 4 stars because I ordered build my own omelette with spinach and ham, no cheese. I had only about 5 spinach leaves in my omelette! I wish they had more. The French toast was perfect! Not too sweet. The biscuit was delicious and so were the potatoes. Prices were fair.

Good food. Good prices. No lattes and won't let you order drinks before being sat. Decent parking. (Excuse the photo, stolen from my IG)

A colleague and I stopped in for a Sunday breakfast. The place was busy with families but the wait was less than 10 minutes. There were plenty of staff and no delay in getting served. A coffee pot was left at the table with a half and half in a small creamer. I chose the blueberry pancakes and a side order of sausage patties. The pancakes were good-not the best ever- and topped with blueberries and a drizzle of blueberry compote. Blueberry flavored syrup was too thin. The sausage patties were also thin and likely out of a Sysco box. My friend built an omelette from egg whites and added spinach, cheese and tomato. He substituted fruit cup for the potatoes. He said it was good. The restaurant was clean and an open concept. All in all a good choice for a basic breakfast.

The Bougie Benny in to-go order packaging

Been wanting to try this place since coming into town for a Buccaneers game this past September. I was definitely not disappointed! I got the Bougie Benny consisting of two poached eggs on top of a Belgian waffle, hollandaise sauce and their loaded home fries. Eggs were perfectly poached, the hollandaise had a nice creamy flavor and my order was ready within a very reasonable time. The hostess at the front was very kind and handed off my order with great energy. I only wish I would have been able to eat in the restaurant because it has a very Swiss chalet feel giving a warm feeling.

Great breakfast spot!! Service was super friendly & food was fantastic. My chicken fried steak & eggs were perfect.

Heard great things about this spot. It was very packed. The parking lot is okay.. enough for the patrons that it fits inside. The food was mid to me . Needs just a tad bit more seasoning . It was your typical breakfast spot. The service from the entrance to leaving was exceptional. Everything came out together and was hot n fresh!

Travel day from Sarasota to Tampa - and guess where we went for breakfast/brunch? You guessed it Himes Breakfast House!! The food and vibes here are always on point. Had the Pork Belly Benedict with a side of Jessie's grits (Like that they can accommodate and give me the Hollandaise on the side) Coffee is robust and tasty our server "Slim M" was super nice and efficient!! We have been to all of the Himes Breakfast House but favor the original location here on Himes Ave. either way - Any of their restaurant locations will do you right!! (PS - Maybe they'll make their way further down south to Sarasota?? Just saying )

Excellent spot just south of Kennedy in Tampa. Located in one of the nicer neighborhoods, it's a small spot I frequent for breakfast when in town. Can't go wrong with any of the menu items. I like the sausage biscuits and gravy. Service is always prompt and friendly. Limited seating on the inside but almost never crowded.

Our waitress was so sweet. The food was delicious. Definitely will go back & worth the wait. Shrimp & grits was flavorful and I had the bananas foster french toast that was phenomenal!

Great breakfast/brunch spot with quality food and home feel. Great for family outings. Don't be fooled if place has a line because service is efficient in the kitchen to table delivery. They have some background music playing which is great and my kids loved the treasure box they have for children to pick one toy from. They have an in house maple syrup with coffee which was very tasty for my pancakes. Their omelette was perfect and flavorful. Great spot for breakfast and will visit again when in area.

Wow! What a great surprise. We had a great experience at Himes Breakfast House. The service was super speedy. There were many different choices for both breakfast and lunch. The Lumberjack Bowl had nicely flavored potatoes and eggs cooked to perfection. The Good Morning Pancakes were delicious. They came with banana and strawberry slices with blueberries sprinkled over. They also came with blueberry syrup complete with whole blueberries in it. The restaurant looked like a breakfast place but had beautiful paintings on the wall. It was also nicely decorated in a Halloween theme. Thank you for this "new to us" treasure!

I came on a weekend and was pleasantly surprised to find parking easily and be seated right away. The service was excellent from start to finish, and the interior was very clean and well maintained. The menu offered a wide variety of options, which was great. Overall, the food was good. Some dishes stood out while others were just okay. It wasn't the best meal I've ever had, but it was still an enjoyable dining experience.

Well... What a great little restaurant. I think my wife was hesitant about going here because she thought it served "simple food" -- she thought kind of like IHOP. This is far better than IHOP. So first... The restaurant is too cute, super clean, very friendly atmosphere, tons of staff which were super helpful. Second... The food is fantastic. I ordered the banana foster French toast. I don't care how hungry you are -- Do not order this if you are alone. You cannot eat the whole thing. This is definitely a shareable plate. Thankfully, my wife was with me. I stole a small section of her breakfast and gave her half of mine. We still took French toast home as we still couldn't eat all of it. My wife got the chicken fried steak. To be fair... Just regular. It's hard to mess up chicken fried steak. It wasn't exceptional, but it wasn't bad either. Just good. Now the biscuit... It's a good biscuit! They have some fancy syrups as well... They tasted like syrup to me. I can't really give it a good or bad. But all in all the food was fantastic. Last... The price. The price is pretty good. I don't say that often enough. My French toast was actually more expensive than my wife's country fried steak surprisingly. But, both breakfasts were under $15 each and in truth 2 breakfasts could feed 4 people. So I guess that means this restaurant has a little bit of everything. Good food, good service, nice looking restaurant. I will go again.

A full service bar and restaurant on one side and a lounge type atmosphere on the other side with a live DJ. They play a variety of rnb and hip hop from old school to modern day. I really had a nice time. The reason only 4 stars was due to the host not being actively present at the reception area when you walk in. He was too busy on the lounge side dropping it like it was hot and helping the bottle girls "hold" the sign. We stood at the host stand upon entry for a while until someone went to get him from the other side. The food was just "ok". For the price of the food I expected more. I had the lemon pepper honey wings and the chicken and French toast. The wings were not cooked through and served in a bowl which made it very difficult to eat. It came with 2 cornbread muffins that were dense and very dry. The French toast was great. I opted for the one with peaches and icing. It was great. It was served with chicken tenders. Again, in a bowl, which made it very difficult to cut, as I had to dig in the bowl. They were ok, a little on the dry side, the breading was falling off but they were edible. The drinks were flowing and the vibe was good. No complaints there. Would I go back??? Yes, I'll probably try something different on the menu. I feel like if the service was a bit better, more attention to detail on the food and the plating of food was different it would have earned 5 stars. But I had an overall nice time.

I'm glad Graze exists, because I feel like they have quite a few options that meet what I'm looking for. This time I got a kale Caesar with blackened Ahi tuna on it. The Ahi tuna was absolutely delicious. I found the kale Caesar had a bit too much sauce, it tasted extra cheesy to me, so I think this Caesar sauce which is homemade has quite a bit of cheese in it for those of you who may not be big cheese fans. What would have made this five stars is if it had less sauce, so next time I might ask for the dressing on the side so I can control putting it on myself. Food: I'd say overall their food is good, it's not the best I've had in Tampa. If you want to come for a decent brunch and drinks this is a good spot. It wasn't super busy on a weekday, so you don't need a reservation. The prices are decent, but everything in Tampa is more pricey now. **Parking Tip: they have a VERY small parking lot for customers behind the building. There is a larger gravel parking lot behind the building where you have to PAY to park. It was around $6/2 hours, I'm not sure if it's more expensive at different times. Try to look for free street parking in the area if their free lot is full before going to the paid lot! Or if you can car pool with friends do that!
