    Eggs Benedict, biscuits n gravy.

Stopped by on Friday morning before 9 am and so glad we did. We got sat right away, place was just starting to get busy. Quick and friendly service, excellent food, very tasty and came out fast. When we were leaving around 9:40am, there were people waiting for tables outside. To me, that is a good sign for a good restaurant. Thank you!

This place is pretty much the definition of mediocre. Nothing was bad but nothing was great either. The pancakes were not very good but the French toast was fluffy.

Good food. Good prices. No lattes and won't let you order drinks before being sat. Decent parking. (Excuse the photo, stolen from my IG)

Always a wait during the weekends but it usually goes by pretty fast. They told us a 45 mins wait but it was only 25 mins. Kid friendly place. Nice kids menu... very cheap... $4 items. The food came out really fast. I gave this place 4 stars because I ordered build my own omelette with spinach and ham, no cheese. I had only about 5 spinach leaves in my omelette! I wish they had more. The French toast was perfect! Not too sweet. The biscuit was delicious and so were the potatoes. Prices were fair.

A colleague and I stopped in for a Sunday breakfast. The place was busy with families but the wait was less than 10 minutes. There were plenty of staff and no delay in getting served. A coffee pot was left at the table with a half and half in a small creamer. I chose the blueberry pancakes and a side order of sausage patties. The pancakes were good-not the best ever- and topped with blueberries and a drizzle of blueberry compote. Blueberry flavored syrup was too thin. The sausage patties were also thin and likely out of a Sysco box. My friend built an omelette from egg whites and added spinach, cheese and tomato. He substituted fruit cup for the potatoes. He said it was good. The restaurant was clean and an open concept. All in all a good choice for a basic breakfast.

The Bougie Benny in to-go order packaging

Been wanting to try this place since coming into town for a Buccaneers game this past September. I was definitely not disappointed! I got the Bougie Benny consisting of two poached eggs on top of a Belgian waffle, hollandaise sauce and their loaded home fries. Eggs were perfectly poached, the hollandaise had a nice creamy flavor and my order was ready within a very reasonable time. The hostess at the front was very kind and handed off my order with great energy. I only wish I would have been able to eat in the restaurant because it has a very Swiss chalet feel giving a warm feeling.

Is this place for real? Bill was $50.00 Server was Sarah. She was fine. But I asked her how the "smash burger" was - she over sold it needless to say. But good for her for getting a sale. Here is what we got; $14.00 Waffles - not fully cooked and straight out of a box- not fresh- hard parts throughout from freezer burn. 2 slices of bacon (this was fine) "smash burger" is NOT A SMASH BURGER AT ALL. Patty's are also frozen from a box and a traditional smash burger is paper thin- not 1/2 thick. And it was not fresh- definitely a frozen patty. Fries were not crispy. $50.00 bill for boxed freezer burn food. Save your money - go somewhere else!

Great breakfast spot!! Service was super friendly & food was fantastic. My chicken fried steak & eggs were perfect.

Heard great things about this spot. It was very packed. The parking lot is okay.. enough for the patrons that it fits inside. The food was mid to me . Needs just a tad bit more seasoning . It was your typical breakfast spot. The service from the entrance to leaving was exceptional. Everything came out together and was hot n fresh!

Travel day from Sarasota to Tampa - and guess where we went for breakfast/brunch? You guessed it Himes Breakfast House!! The food and vibes here are always on point. Had the Pork Belly Benedict with a side of Jessie's grits (Like that they can accommodate and give me the Hollandaise on the side) Coffee is robust and tasty our server "Slim M" was super nice and efficient!! We have been to all of the Himes Breakfast House but favor the original location here on Himes Ave. either way - Any of their restaurant locations will do you right!! (PS - Maybe they'll make their way further down south to Sarasota?? Just saying )

Here's a clean, polished review you can post--natural but enthusiastic: Himes Breakfast was an awesome experience from start to finish. The restaurant was very clean and had such a cozy, welcoming vibe, making it the perfect spot to sit back and enjoy a great breakfast. I ordered the Lumberjack, and everything came out great. The eggs were cooked perfectly and placed on top of the mashed potatoes--not cooked together--but honestly, it still worked really well and tasted amazing. One thing I really liked is that you can sub the biscuit for French toast or pancakes. I chose the French toast, but the Lumberjack is so much food that it was honestly hard to even get to it . Everything was delicious, and I'd give this place a 10 out of 10--I'll definitely be back. Shoutout to our waitress Sienna, who was absolutely amazing. She was super friendly, recommended a bunch of great options, and made deciding easy. She checked on us often and even brought out a new syrup they make for us to try, which was so good. This place will definitely be seeing more of me!

Excellent spot just south of Kennedy in Tampa. Located in one of the nicer neighborhoods, it's a small spot I frequent for breakfast when in town. Can't go wrong with any of the menu items. I like the sausage biscuits and gravy. Service is always prompt and friendly. Limited seating on the inside but almost never crowded.

Great breakfast/brunch spot with quality food and home feel. Great for family outings. Don't be fooled if place has a line because service is efficient in the kitchen to table delivery. They have some background music playing which is great and my kids loved the treasure box they have for children to pick one toy from. They have an in house maple syrup with coffee which was very tasty for my pancakes. Their omelette was perfect and flavorful. Great spot for breakfast and will visit again when in area.

We started with the Million Dollar Deviled Eggs, topped with crispy oysters, bacon jam and caviar. They were creative and packed with flavor. The caviar came through a little stronger than we would have preferred, but everything worked surprisingly well together. Bill put them around 3.5-4 out of 5, while Deb gave them a 3. The wine was one of the best parts of the meal. I had the Ken Wright Cellars Pinot Noir and loved it--fruity with a peppery edge in a really good way. Easy 4.5/5. Deb went with the Drylands Sauvignon Blanc and gave it a solid 4/5. Both wines paired nicely with the deviled eggs. For lunch, we tried the blackened grouper sandwich. The fish and smoky Old Bay rémoulade were very flavorful, and the sandwich itself earned a 4/5 for taste. The problem was the $34 price tag. It simply felt too small for that price, so we'd put the value closer to a 3. Dessert turned things around again. The mango sorbetto was cold, bright and refreshing, and the accompanying sugar cookies added a surprisingly nice contrast. At $7, it felt like a much better value. 4/5. Overall, Oak & Ola delivered some very good flavors and an excellent wine experience. We'd return, but we'd probably be a little more selective about the higher-priced entrées.

I'm glad Graze exists, because I feel like they have quite a few options that meet what I'm looking for. This time I got a kale Caesar with blackened Ahi tuna on it. The Ahi tuna was absolutely delicious. I found the kale Caesar had a bit too much sauce, it tasted extra cheesy to me, so I think this Caesar sauce which is homemade has quite a bit of cheese in it for those of you who may not be big cheese fans. What would have made this five stars is if it had less sauce, so next time I might ask for the dressing on the side so I can control putting it on myself. I appreciate that they text you when your order is ready so you can walk around, I was able to go back to my table and sit with the family until my order was ready. Some of the stalls do not open until 11 AM, but Graze opens before that, probably because they have breakfast options. If you're looking for a healthy place at Armature Works, I would highly recommend here.

The rest of the service was good overall. Our food came out quick. I do wish the happy hour options were explained to us when we sat down, we had to ask our waiter to explain it to us. Food: I'd say overall their food is good, it's not the best I've had in Tampa. If you want to come for a decent brunch and drinks this is a good spot. We tried the 'potato latkes' as an appetizer which was really good. I had their 'Smashburger' for my entree which was good, but I've had better. I did like their fries. The drinks were the best part! I had their 'Pink Hugo' which was really good and my friend had their 'Green Machine' which was delicious. Overall the food was good, but nothing amazing to me. Maybe I didn't order the right thing. I'd be willing to come back and try their brunch options as that seems to be what people like the most. Overall, it's a good place to come for lunch with a friend. It wasn't super busy on a weekday, so you don't need a reservation. The prices are decent, but everything in Tampa is more pricey now. **Parking Tip: they have a VERY small parking lot for customers behind the building. There is a larger gravel parking lot behind the building where you have to PAY to park. It was around $6/2 hours, I'm not sure if it's more expensive at different times. Try to look for free street parking in the area if their free lot is full before going to the paid lot! Or if you can car pool with friends do that!
