Love this place. Always so nice. Usually try to help you even when it's pretty packed. Little area to play Mario cart or something. They used to have really cool buy one get one free deals on retro games. Then buy two get one free... Now buy two get one free, top shelf only. 64 games. But I still like them. Bought a new Xbox one S with a faulty controller, then returned it and they replaced it with another faulty controller, they treat people like their oblivious too obvious mistakes, the trick they use is too show another employee which will already have the same exact opinion obviously. Only people who played old style games will love this place. They have every possible old to new game. I went to buy a GameCube, Ps2, and PS3 just to get games like GTA, Kingdoms Hearts, Twisted metal Black, and best of all the Legend of Zelda series. Got ripped off big time. Sold a bucket full of classic Super Nintendo and Nintendo 64 games because I was in desperate need of money. They gave me $10 dollars. $10 DOLLARS. I absolutely needed the money and took it, but realized sometime afterwards these games amounted to hundreds of dollars, and I only got TEN DOLLARS. They must had felt really good they ripped off a customer and got to make hundreds of my games. These were my childhood games that I loved, and only took the money because I needed it at the time. I went here and truly it was not as good as I had expected from a lot of these reviews. What I expected was a huge selection of retro games (NES, SNES). What I really got? Just an average game shop with poor selection. They probably have a lot better selection on newer brands, so if you're looking for Xbox or PS3 items, this is where it's at. But I was here for SNES and NES games. And truly I was not impressed. Everyone made a big deal about the prices. "Cheap" was what I heard a lot, but when I went there, they had a used copy of Final Fantasy II, the only SNES game in their selection that I would even consider playing. I looked at the price. $50. Final Fantasy II is worth AT MOST $30. So I just passed on it. Then, I took a look at the NES games. It's mostly made up of a bunch of Akari Warriors cartridges. They had just one game I would consider playing, yet again! Mega Man III. $30. The game isn't worth that much either. When it comes to the staff, however, the people here are very nice. They'll help you find ANYTHING. In the end, if you're a retro game player like me, DO NOT GO HERE. However, if you are into the newer games, GO HERE. It all depends on the person. read more

Great family owned store that has been in business for 15 years now. This place used to be half the size until they bought out the store next to them and expanded. This place is huge now and has an amazing local following, good prices and lots of stock, those are all the positives. However there are a few negatives as well. The employees here are mostly Judy's family and for having owned a game store for 15 years I am sad to say they are not very knowledgeable at all when it comes to new games, game recommendations or even giving a game description. So many times I have been there and someone has asked a game and they have to Google a description. So many times I've been like "Let me save you time" and pop an explanation right off the top of my head. One other negative thing about this place is they are not above trying to pull a fast one on you if they think they can. Resident Evil 6 had a collectors edition only available through preorder called Resident Evil 6 archives. Along with RE6 it came with digital copies for RE4, RE5 and RE: Code Veronica, all single use codes. Well they made the mistake of buying a used copy of Archives for more than a normal copy, not realizing all the extras had been used up. I told them they aren't supposed to be reselling it and they shouldn't have even bought it in the first place, they are essentially charging $30 more than a normal used copy for no good reason. I've pointed this out to them multiple times and informed them it needs to be removed from shelves. The first time they gave me an "Oh wow you're right, thank you so much" etc etc. A week later, it was back on the shelves cause if they can sell it someone who doesn't know better, I'm sure they would. One of the last times I went I tried buying a game that I know for a fact is 4 discs. They gave me 3 discs and then tried to rush me out of the door. I told them I believed the game was 4 discs and they kept telling me no, so I brought it up on my phone and showed them. They started looking for the 4th disc and couldn't find it. It occurred to me that they got ripped off, I asked them if they even knew why the person withheld the 4th disc and they didn't know. I told them if he was on the 4th disc that he could continue to play his save file forever even though he traded the game into them, he just couldn't start a new game. So basically they bought an incomplete game cause they didn't know better then tried to pawn their mistake off onto a customer. Other than these occasional shady business practices this is a good store. For the most part they have good,, fair prices. They have a similar program to Gamestop's used game return policy except they charge you $1 each day you had the game, kinda like a rental free. I hope this helped everyone get an idea of what kind of place this is. You can find some real treasures here but I recommend doing your homework first cause these employees definitely won't do it for you and they won't hesitate to take advantage of a customer who doesn't know better. read more

Its one of those diamond in the rough shops that i was so glad to wonder in her while waiting for my folks that are inside pep boys next door. They have a large variety of games for almost every console made by man. Not a lot of PC games but thats okay because they have games that are no longer in production and even buy old games as well. I left my ds here a couple of times because i keep breaking it and i get it back a few days later working like a charm. I cannot say enough about this awesome little find. This is the nostalgia store for retro gamers. My brothers and I grew up with the older systems like Atari, NES all the way up to present consoles offered today. This store has hidden treasures all over the place! Not just old game systems and games, but newer ones as well. They have old electronics, movies and again, newer ones too. I just love walking in and breathing in the childhood this store envelops. They carry everything including hard to find retro systems and games to the latest systems, accessories and games. They carry new and used items. I love this place. One of the few and best mom and pop video game stores around. They have good deals on used/vintage games and practically carry all games ever published in the US. They also have a pretty neat return policy on games purchased recently - for every day you have owned the game, they deduct one dollar from the return amount for up to 7 days I believe. For example, if you bought a new game for $60, played it for a couple days and return it for whatever reason, you'll get $58 back. Sure beats GameStop. read more

So I've been thinking of getting a PS2 just so I can play San Andreas , and let me tell you when I first walked in I got starred at maybe because they never seen me before or whatever but I let that slide i usually walk right back out . So I was looking around looking for GTASA and they have a huge variety of games I felt like I was 5 all over again ! The lady assisting me helped me out real fast !
