I would NEVER hire this company again. Bait and switch. Quote one price, then triple it the day they arrive. Destroyed one of my plants, and the owner won't even return any of our (my husband and I) calls to replace it. Also left my property incomplete with the promise to replace a bush they removed (we asked for it to be removed and said we would pay for a replacement bush - at our cost), but never responded to any of our calls. AND - one of his workers agreed to be our weekly lawn maintenance person, so we fired our gardener of 15+ years. Only to have this person (I will not name right now) pull a no show, but promised us weekly that he would show up. It's been one month. David Vinh, the owner of Cali Green Tree Experts knocked on my door so say that they were working on trees in the area and could offer a discount on my Magnolia tree in the front. I took the offer and they trimmed it. However, his workers stabbed their shoes or blades all along the trunk in order to climb it. It put the tree in to shock and now a once healthy Magnolia appears as if it is dying and is constantly dropping brown leaves from Spring to now Summer. When I reached out to David to find out what could be done he said he would come take a look when he was in the area - 3 weeks ago. He refuses to take responsibility and has not followed up. I would not recommend this company because they are a sales outfit that talk you up and then send different workers to do a poor job. read more

"No soliciting" signs mean nothing but it does let me know you and your workers can't follow simple directions. 4x is pretty ridiculous. I had four big palm trees that were way overdue for a trim, and this crew did an amazing job! The price was very fair, and from start to finish they were super easy to work with. You could tell they really knew what they were doing. The crew of about five arrived right on time, got right to work, and worked together like a well-oiled machine. They were diligent, fast, and clearly experienced. What impressed me most was how thorough they were with the cleanup--by the time they left, you'd never know any trimming had been done except for the perfectly shaped palms. With a problem tree and some brush I wanted to get out of the way, I tried them out. I'm glad I did. They efficiently trimmed my redwood and cut down another tree. I didn't pay for stump removal so the price was very affordable. They had a large team that took away the brush, and my yard looks better immediately.
