Nice-sized spot with a lot of potential, we came on a Saturday night and there were maybe 20 people max. The music was good and the atmosphere had potential, but the service was super slow. There were 4 servers and even a robot, but it still took 45 minutes before we got our food. Love the paintings and pictures on the walls. The owner was super cool with us and showed us mad love. Super nice person. The food was bomb too. The portions are enough to get you full for sure. Horrrible! Place! Don't even waste your time! When arriving, no one was at the front, finally found someone. There was only one couple seated out of the entire restaurant. Finally we got seated, I asked for a towel to wipe of the very dirty table and chairs. And instead of her doing it she gave me a wet towel for me to wipe it off. It's a lot going on with this place. My friend and I walked in on a Monday evening at 645 and it was no one there. No one behind the bar, no one to greet us. Didn't even look like they were open. Started to walk around and someone came from the back and we were able to sit where we wanted. She ended up being our server and she was nice. The drinks came out slow which was weird since we were the only customers but the food didn't take long and it tasted decent. I think this place has the potential to be great, but in MY opinion I don't think the location is a great spot for the vibe I think they're trying for. 1st of all If I could rate 0 starts, I would. I went to an event last Thursday to support an amazing artist from Htown and the hospitality/service was all kinds of dysfunctional. Food and drinks were never received and the staff seemed annoyed unwilling to help. Microphones and lights were turned off in the middle of performances never mind that the sound was terrible from jump. First it's extremely loud. It was R&B night, the singers were good but it was so loud you couldn't hear yourself think let alone have a conversation with anyone. One of the biggest draw backs is the fact that you order and pay and are asked to tip before you get your food. The food left a lot to be desired and in my opinion is over priced. The fried rice pictured is $15 and you pay an extra $7 for meat. $22 for fried rice is insane! The food wasn't flavorful at all. The descriptions of the food don't match what you actually get. My wife and I came one night after seeing them on instagram. When we arrived we were seated and it is a very large place. There is a patio on one end with a DJ and hookah service. I did see hookah in the main service area of the restaurant tho. We ordered salmon bites and fried shrimp and both came with fries. The waitress told us up front that it may be @35 minutes as the kitchen was backed up and we were fine with that. Our waitress, Briana took our drink order and returned pretty quickly with them. I had a Hennessy type drink which was just ok. After about 20-25 minutes our food arrived. My shrimp was very good and I got a dozen and the fries had a Cajun type flavor and were very good also. My wife enjoyed her salmon bites. There was loud music but we were still able to have conversations and there were numerous TVs.
