Sides were great. only got 3 lamb chops. $45 for a plate of 4 lamb chops meal from menu. average, very tough to bite and the flavor was bad. 1st time in this restaurant. Then they add 18% "service fee". I was alone. 1 person. My experience was they can do better. TRASH ESTABLISHMENT

I would never come to this place again. They provide false advertising and tell guest they will not honor something that is on the menu. So the question why not take that off the menu if your system does not allow for you to put it in as it is advertised. To have to pay 6 dollars for a drink is not okay when you saying it is 3 dollars.

I love Daiq's atmosphere and specials! I'm always down for a good hh deal and they don't miss on the drinks or food. The jerk wings were my favorite! The service was on point and gave us what we needed before we needed it,lol.

There's ample parking and a good amount of seating. The dj played a good selection. The waitress was attentive and helpful with suggestions. The drinks were pretty good. They had a good selection. If you're with a few friends get a flight...you'll be good!!!!

So much went wrong with my visit here. Daiq's has potential, but it's so far from it right now. I came on a Sunday around Noon with a group of 8. We had a reservation, but the place was empty so it wasn't needed. I think this place opened way before it was ready. It started with the waitress who took 2 people's orders then walked away. We thought it was a mistake but she didn't come back until we called her over and her reply was "oh yeah". Next, they had no salt and pepper. We were literally told they didn't have any (and the omelette a had no taste so seasoning were needed). So we asked for some from the kitchen and we were brought the big type of salt you use for margaritas. It wasn't good with food. Someone ordered the greens and said they were extremely salty. She couldn't eat more than 2 bites. I and several others got the brisket omelette. All the omelets didn't have everything listed on the menu. Mine didn't have any kind of tomatoes or mushrooms but the person next to me had whole Roma tomato's (menu said it would be sun dried tomatoes). The only people who enjoyed their meal were the people who got chicken and waffles. And to top it off, we were given flimsy plastic utensils. It was hard to cut anything, and almost impossible to cut the waffles.

4pm Saturday, April 1st Parking: plenty of space to park The ambiance is that of a lounge. They provide hookah, drinks, sporting entertainment and food. The theme is eye catching. They have pictures of popular artists from the area with street signs from the "Southwest." Service was lax, Bosy took care of us. It was a slow shift. There might have been a total of 5 tables with customers. She was great about handling our returned order. Besides that, smoke breaks should not be seen nor smelled. I'm not sure if she smoked or if she was in the car with smokers. Besides the chill vibes, she's good. French toast & chicken Chicken & Waffles Seafood Etouffee Viet Egg Rolls These are the meals I ordered. The brunch items were good. The seafood Etouffee was salty & the fish was thin. The French Toast, Waffles, Chicken, and egg rolls were satisfying. Gratuity is added to all checks. I signed mine too quickly because as I type out this review the math is not math-ing. Before the additional trip was added my bill was 70 plus dollars. I was told there was a special promotion for the Chicken & waffles as well as the French Toast & chicken. Judging from my bill they didn't honor that promotion even though Bosy told us about it. Moral of that story, check your bill. I wouldn't recommend coming here for the strength of their food but the atmosphere and vibe is great.

This last Saturday, I held my birthday party at Daiqs, and they did NOT disappoint! When I say I had the best time of my life , it was epic ! First, let's start with the location. They are located in a non busy spot but close to the beltway so you don't have to worry about traffic. Parking is amazing, you don't pay to park. There is security at the door, and they check everyone ID , granny's, and all. When inside they greet you which is amazing, the lighting of the place and the decor is very beautiful. I had a session on the back left side by the DJ booth . This would fit about 15 people but thankfully the manager gave the table next to it due to my huge party. Between these two sessions, I had 1 waiter, and her name was Payton. Payton was by far one of the best waiters I have seen at a club , she never missed orders , always on time with food and drinks, and had a beautiful personality. MY HAT GOES OFF TO HER BECAUSE SHE WORKED MY ENTIRE PARTY BY HERSELF !. The food their was okay , I had their boudin balls and their frech fries are small square fries . Their hookah was really good and was not harsh. The Dj played great music the entire night and had everyone turnt up . Before I had my session booked . I went in to inquire about it, and I spoke with the bartender (I think her name was Dee, I'm unsure) she answered all my questions and was very helpful . Crystal was also helpful along the way.

Sidney was an amazing server! Very attentive and great service!! I enjoyed my drinks and food she made sure we stayed hydrated and was very sweet

Everything was detailed and you can feel how passionate they are about the food. We started off with the Gumbo and Lobster Bisque. The gumbo has a nice roux and full of flavor with shrimp, rice, and other tasty bits. The lobster bisque was one of my favorites of the evening with a rich and creamy texture. 5/5 Following the soup, we had some of the freshest Prince Edward Island oysters in Houston. We didn't try the Gulf oysters in this visit but our neighbor said they were delicious and looked huge. Next we had a ribeye steak with pasta and broccoli as the side. The steak was cooked perfectly and didn't need any sauce but the in house sauce that came with the steak had so much umami flavor, made by Michael as well. Can't wait to come back and try some of the other items on our next visit! Thanks for the wonderful hospitality and experience from end to end.

They managed to keep the same relaxed neighborhood vibe people love while giving it a much more modern, polished, and upscale feel. The updated design, lighting, TVs and overall atmosphere look incredible and make the space feel fresh without losing its personality. They still have the spinning drink wheel! The outdoor seating especially feels elevated now and makes for the perfect Houston brunch spot or night out. One of the best parts about NextDoor is that it's connected to Hungry's, which means you get full access to their menu while enjoying the lounge atmosphere. Being able to order everything from cocktails and appetizers to full meals while at a bar is a game changer. The food is consistently good, the drinks are strong (especially the frozen options) well-made, and everything comes out quickly. What keeps me coming back year after year is the consistency. The staff has always been welcoming and attentive, the crowd is chill, and it never feels overly pretentious or chaotic. It's one of those rare spots that works for everything, whether it's happy hour after work, date night, catching up with friends over drinks on the patio or a solo adventure. Love seeing a longtime Houston favorite continue to evolve while still delivering the same great experience that's kept me coming back for years. Definitely one of my go-to spots on Memorial Drive. My only suggestion is to tell the younger staff members to be conscious of their conversations while guest are dining nearby. I love people watching but I heard a lot of things. It appears Hungry's uses the bar area like a break/training room or to do other tasks like rolling utensils in napkins.

There is a good amount of parking in the big strip mall lot, but it gets very packed on weekends as there are many popular restaurants here. We got a room with a 15-top and were brought in promptly on time. We planned out our food/drink order ahead of time to meet the F&B minimum for one extra free hour. We also made a YouTube playlist ahead of time to allow people to choose songs to add and make sure everyone got at least one song they wanted on the list. Food came out really quickly, with banchan coming in about 5-10 minutes and food coming out anywhere from 15-30 minutes after (the military stew took the longest). Food-wise: Banchan: 3.5/5 Pretty much has all the staples Chicken Wings: 4/5 Nice and crispy, good flavor, good sharable portion and we ordered the Whole Chicken Seafood Pancake: 3.5/5 Pretty hefty and comes with a nice sauce, a little light on the seafood Kimchi Pancake: 4/5 Nice crisp, good dipping sauce, would get again Corn Cheese: 4/5 Looks small, but actually quite sharable and filling LA Galbi: 3/5 Many recommendations for this but I found it to be small and kind of chewy, no better than other KBBQ I've had and quite pricey Cheese Tteokbokki 3.5/5 Also larger than expected and very filling. It's VERY cheesy. Army Hot Pot 2/5 Hard to share, not worth the price as there wasn't that much in it. I think if it were $10 cheaper at $30 instead of $40 it'd be worth it. Probably the best LA Galbi I've had in a while. The meat came in big and thick slices. Extremely appetizing. Cheese omelette was fluffy and flavorful, oozing with melted cheese inside, perfect with the dipped ketchup. Rose tteokbokki made a good first impression. The size was almost for an army, loaded with ham, rice cake, and chewy noodles. Upon further eating, however, you realize the sauce was very cheddar heavy. It tasted straight up like broccoli cheddar soup. They also used Bologna for ham and I feel it cheapens the dish. Overall tastes like an amateur attempt at a Korean bar classic. Soondubu jigae (not pictured) was the worst dish we ordered. Tasted like an entire bag of gochugaru, some soft tofu, and an egg. You will not have an inkling of suspicion you are eating soondubu jigae. Also not a fan. Minor plus is that they added a live DJ. Music was spot on which really lightened the space and atmosphere.
