I found this place on foodnome (a site for permitted micro kitchens) and was excited for Indian food near me. I ordered the chicken tikka and samosas. I waited 15 min after my scheduled pick up time to get my food brought out to me and by the time I got home the container and plastic wrap was messy. The color of the tikka looked odd in comparison to how vibrant it is at other places, but I still ate it. It was bland, and mediocre at best. The naan had too much garlic, I scraped it off. I was thrilled to finally check this place out after seeing lots of hype on IG. I am a riverside local and a big fan of indian food, so naturally I had to check this place out. As soon as I took my first bite, I was utterly disappointed. I ordered chicken tikka masala, aloo gobi, as well as naan and samosas. The chicken tikka masala had no flavor. It was not spicy, and did not taste like much to be honest. The aloo gobi was drowning in oil/ghee. That made it pretty gross to be honest. The samosa was also very under seasoned. I actually went back to give it a second try and ordered the greg special, but to my dismay I was present with under seasoned flavorless food once again. Ordered two Greg specials. The color of the tiki masala was different however, the flavors did not disappoint. It has a unique taste but it's delicious. The tiki has bell peppers which you can taste through the sauce. The chicken was delicious, didn't get any pieces that I had to spit out. The best part of the food was the samosa that was included with the special. They forgot to add the mango Lassi and the extra nann we ordered. There was a green veggie in the chicken tik, one of the pieces for one of the orders was super slimy while for the other order it was very firm. The price was great! This place is SO overrated. We had heard a lot about this place from word of mouth, social media and even the news!! It's cool that it's a "home" kitchen but you have to place your order online 24-48 hours in advance. We had sky high expectations given the demand. We found the tikka masala to be rather bland and very "soupy". The butter chicken was a little better but nothing special. The best thing we had was the free mango lassi you get if you spend $25+. For how inconvenient it is to get your hands on the food and for the price ($16.50/person after online ordering fees) we will continue frequenting our other local spots. read more

Completely forgot to take a picture but the food was delicious. My family has a special diet. We are vegetarians that also cannot eat onion or garlic. Manu was willing to accommodate to our diets and specially made our orders, down to the naan. He was very clear that it might not taste like the original but given that we've never been able to have Indian food until now, it was MUCH appreciated. Great local Indian food when I was visiting my friend at Riverside. The chicken curry was really good, especially the curry sauce that they use. My friends got the tikka masala and they also enjoyed it as well. However, we all came to the conclusion that the butter curry was the best part of the meal, hands down.
